I was not expecting the panels. They are these huge standing panels that the pieces are mounted on and each panel has a front and back. I have a cane so for me it was a lot and I had a friend with me who was a lot... she's sort of scattered and we looked at several panels. She was a bit overwhelmed as she was meeting me. I was a few minutes and the person there she said was very aggressive. I get it but also she was aggressive with me too when I entered. We were just trying to get her to leave us to look. Brito's work was basically crime scene photos in South America but shot within really great landscape pictures. Some were a bit gory, but it was an interesting contrast between great farm scenes or sunsets or a winding dirt road and then you have a body or several with bullet wounds or half covered by tarps. It was a little disturbing. The second photographer, Kent Krugh shot pictures of many different types of trees. The pictures were overlaid and made them appear ghostly with stark blacks and whites to contrast everything. I enjoyed this work a bit more than the other. I was told at another gallery that Christopher Rauschenberg, the son of artist Robert Rauschenberg, and photographer in his own right is the founder of Blue Sky. The space is large and I can't wait to come back to see more great photography here.

From the moment you step inside, you are surrounded by interesting items that catches your attention. The first floor is more like a workshop with few things you can purchase, like really cool looking postcards. The second floor is where you will gasp over and over again. Every inch of the space was filled with oddities and curiosities. It was honestly so memorable and fun in so many ways. I love original art and street festivals so in theory, this would appear to be the perfect event for me. While I found many of the items beautiful, unique, amazing - I was disappointed that everything was in the high price range. Some of us aren't in the market for a huge piece of art or a super expensive piece of jewelry or ceramic. Years ago, you could enjoy a few hours perusing this event and leave with a treasured pair of earrings for under $100, a keepsake to remind you of the fun day you experienced. Those days are gone! Yes there are gorgeous handmade jackets; none in my budget. Bright, vibrant hand blown glass; wish there were smaller pieces to buy. Original abstract art; unfortunately too large for my space. Handcrafted leather pieces; out of my price range. I understand the time and effort that goes into the making of all this art and I know they pour their heart and soul into their craft. Just wish a few vendors would consider offering "pint size" offerings so more people could own a piece, and who knows, come back for a larger piece the following year. The Baskets that were weaved from palm fronds were my absolute favorite. They were so unique, beautiful to look at, would add architectural interest to any collection but unfortunately I don't have the space for such large pieces. I'll be back next year because I enjoy seeing walking through the park on a beautiful day, looking at the crafts and experiencing some of Portland's own unique inhabitants.

This art fair caters to a wide variety of tastes and provides high quality art to the many people who attend this three day festival. Parts of the neighborhood are dubious with drug users and vagrants due to the absurdly loose drug laws in Oregon, and parking is a bit of an issue. The art fair itself, however, is a treat.

In August 2020 I paid them $200 towards a painting. I lost my job and was not able to send the second half of the payment so I requested for it to be refunded. Unfortunately, my PayPal account was closed so I cannot go through them to resolve the issue. I have contacted them via email and social media but have yet to hear anything. I then commented on a post on their Instagram hoping that would get the gallery to finally answer me. This was not the case. I was blocked from their social media. I understand that one of the owners passed away a few months ago so I tried to give them some time to answer emails but blocking me on social media was pretty immature and that's when I realized that they had no intention on answering me. Antler Gallery, please respond so that we can resolve this issue. Thank you and I am sorry about your loss.
