I stopped by just by chance and sampled some awesome roasted eggplant ( it has just a hint of spice at the end) and pimento cheese spread. And just for good measure, I threw in some sea salt crackers. I got home and tried the crackers. I could not stop eating them!! Besides the awesome customer service, the "condiments" are great! I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the city!

    Delicious and fresh!

Was in Reading Terminal, stopped by to taste the pesto, and left with 6 different condiments! AMAZING stuff.

Almost everything I've tried from here has been great! Their hummus is extremely garlicky and thick -- my favorite.

A really great place in Reading Terminal to come for some gourmet sauces, butters, and Condiments, etc!

I really enjoyed visiting S.mart! You can't go wrong with anything you buy here…read more I spent less than $20 and got a decent amount of stuff: Black Truffle Velvet Mashed Potato Pringles Ritz Crackers with Chocolate Matcha Chocolates Watermelon Konjac jelly pack Japanese Oreos Gift Box (not pictured) So far, I've had the Oreos, Matcha Chocolate and the Pringles. All were pretty solid! The Pringles remind me of something other than mashed potatoes but I can't put my finger on it. The Oreos are all different flavors and are slightly thinner than the Oreos sold here in the US. The flavor I tried was White Peach and Crystal Grape. Interesting combination to mix with chocolate but it was actually tasty. The matcha chocolate doesn't taste like chocolate. The matcha flavor is very strong and it tastes like you're biting into a block of matcha but with the consistency of chocolate. I wasn't helped by anyone besides the cashier so I can't speak too much on the staff but overall I was able to navigate the store without any questions. The store is a little tight especially when you're sharing the aisles with other people. My understanding is that the S.mart directly next door is owned by the same family and is a store specializing in skincare. They share the same name but sell different items. Great selection of international treats and a nice place for gifts, too!

Very cute corner cafe from the same team behind Emei (so you know it's great)! The menu has some…read moreadventurous and unique dishes, all fairly priced and a nice portion. Had the Kobe style smash burger which is just bursting with flavor. Two great beef patties with lettuce and tomato. Throw on a piece of tempura bacon. Slather with spicy mayo, and I believe a soy glaze was in there too. This is probably one of the least adventurous foods on the menu, but still absolutely unique and delish, and far better than many burgers at restaurants that specialize in meats/burgers! Had mango and grapefruit cake for dessert - layers of fruit, cream, and cake in a cup. Pretty tasty and a light treat. Great spot, thanks.

They have pasta dishes, traditional Cantonese rice dishes, brunch-style fancy roasts, wings, and other Hong Kong café-style comfort food. I ordered the pepper steak pasta and WOW. This honestly blew me out of the water. The sauce was super creamy, almost like it was cooked with milk, with a nice peppery flavor that wasn't overpowering. They were also VERY generous with the meat. The portion was huge. I couldn't finish it and easily got about two meals out of it. My friend ordered the braised beef over rice, which was much more traditional. Tender braised beef with that savory, rich sauce soaking into the rice. Very comforting and exactly the kind of simple Cantonese-style dish you want when you're craving something hearty. I almost ordered the seafood udon too, so I guess I'll have to come back for that. The whole menu reminds me of that early-2000s Hong Kong café style where Western food gets mixed with Asian flavors. It's very reminiscent of that period of Hong Kong's food culture, where you could have a creamy pasta alongside a traditional rice dish and somehow it all made perfect sense. It's a fun mix of familiar Western flavors with a distinctly Hong Kong twist. Staff were fast, attentive, and really nice. Our food came out quickly, and the portions were definitely not stingy. I did take off a star because the HVAC was leaking outside the bathroom and the floor was FLOODED. It was starting to creep toward the dining area too, so hopefully that's something they get fixed soon. Overall, I'd absolutely come back for the food. Just... maybe don't plan on using the bathroom while you're here.
