I love their small sizing options!

It's a cute little speciality shop, with a kind person checking people out with free parking! There is not much indoor seating but it is possible to find a spot to sit, several tables outside. There was something so nice about the simplicity of not a ton of flavors, but some may see this as a con - we did not! They let you taste test which is great; and didn't rush us in decision making! Our party ordered the chocolate fudge sundae (solid chocolate fudge), their blueberry vanilla swirl and their chocolate custard.

Cone Cept is tucked into what appears to be the basement of an old church building in the middle of a residential neighborhood. The location is unexpected enough that you wonder if Apple Maps has led you astray. But maybe it really was a church, because the ice cream is next level - possibly even holy. Ultra creamy, ridiculously good, and topped with rainbow sprinkles because apparently I'm still 9 years old when given the option. They're also lightning fast. I'm not sure I've ever seen a cone go from order to hand that quickly. Great ice cream. Weird location. Lightning-fast service. Holy ice cream. My kinda church! Amen.

Cone cept is the newest, kitschiest addition to the Eastwood Village mixed use development off Chapel Ave. A tiny but well designed spot next to the plant shop, it focuses on soft serve ice cream with fun toppings. Soft serve is my favorite style of ice cream, so I was really excited about this spot! Cone cept promises a limited selection of interesting, fresh flavors: the current menu offers vanilla, blueberry, a swirl of vanilla/blueberry, chocolate, strawberry, or a swirl of chocolate/strawberry, with a long list of traditional toppings and sauces. You can get your ice cream in a cup, sugar cone, or freshly made waffle cone, OR turn it into a sundae or shake. The ice cream really leans into soft here, and it feels quite melty as soon as you get your treat. I opted for the blueberry vanilla swirl on the rec of the associate, with crushed Oreos and hot fudge in a mini size. It was $4.39, which I thought was quite reasonable and was the perfect little sweet after lunch nearby. I wasn't particularly wowed by the flavor - the blueberry tasted a bit artificial, and as stated before, it melted incredibly quickly as I ate. The toppings were good but not particularly different than I'd get at any other ice cream shop. They have a little indoor bar-style seating, which was great as a solo visitor, or tables outside, which is better for groups. Free parking is easy on the street, and service was very helpful and quick. Overall I liked it, but it didn't wow me. Would certainly come here again when in the neighborhood, but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Cute little ice cream shop in a key location where previously you'd only have Jenis to satiate your sweet tooth. They have a few places to sit outside as well as about a dozen seats around their counter. You could always sit on the walls around the building too. Greta fair weather spot to hang. Flavors are fairly limited but what I tried was good. Wife had the blueberry vanilla swirl & I had the chocolate strawberry swirl. Waffle cones looked yummy & I plan on trying one of those next time I'm around. Price was good. Staff worked quickly & were nice.

Adorable retro inspired soft serve cafe in East Nashville !! Super cute spot with incredibly kind staff. The soft serve is super customizable and they make some of the best waffle cones i've ever had. Love the cute lil story behind this place displayed in their bathroom. There's usually a line out of the door but it's worth the wait and the line moves quick!

I have been a few times now and this is my new favorite ice cream in Nashville!! This is probably the best soft serve ice cream I've ever had- it's so decadent. The blueberry flavor is actually heavenly --- I never thought I could enjoy a blueberry ice cream so much!! And the toppings they offer are premium, the cheesecake bites and cookie dough are 10/10. I am so excited for this place, the flavors they will have in the future, and to see how they continue to grow!!

Cone Cept is a lovely little shop serving soft serve ice cream. The ice cream was yummy and I appreciated the blueberry vanilla swirl and the chocolate strawberry swirl. I did find it a little silly that toppings are extra outside of sprinkles and sea salt...as a shop that prides itself on being whimsical and providing joy I would think a few more topping options would be free. Overall, a fun spot - I'm not totally sure I would make the trip back up to it but if we were local I might stop in again.

Cone-cept is a fun spot to experience at least once, especially late at night on a Friday in East. I love that they're open later than most dessert places. When my friends and I went, it was very busy--apparently the line got so long they had to call in extra staff. So we ended up waiting around 40 minutes. Even with the chaos, the staff stayed super upbeat and friendly, which honestly made a big difference! There's great outdoor seating (picnic-benches and tables), and the bathroom was clean. Parking is only street parking though, so we had to park in the nearby neighborhood. I ordered a Lil Standard with both twists (they said I was the first person to order that combo, which made me laugh), so I got to try the blueberry + vanilla twist and the chocolate + strawberry twist with sprinkles. It was alright, but I personally wasn't blown away. Might be on me for ordering all the flavors that melted together, lol My friends ordered the Mélange though and absolutely raved about it. I'd probably try that next time instead.

Don't be intimidated by the line as it moves fast! The blueberry ice cream is a must try. I ordered blueberry vanilla swirl in a cake cone with rainbow sprinkles and was not ready for how high they pile the ice cream on top. I also love the bookshop and plant shop nearby which makes it a great post shopping treat

What a gem! This was definitely one of the best soft serves I had because the blueberry flavor was fantastic. Must get!! It wasn't too sweet, tasted like a blueberry fro-yo which was what I was craving. Also I love that the blueberry flavor is blue but they don't use food coloring. In fact it's all natural as they use spirulina. I love that they have so many sizes including petite for a little taste. I got the petite but I regret it, I'll be back for a bigger size! The have a lot of toppings as well and sprinkles is free. I got the cookie dough and it was great. The staff there were also super nice, welcoming, and helpful. Can't wait to try other flavors and items in their menu. Love this addition to east Nashville.

We went on a Friday about 7pm and it wasn't too busy. We only waited in line a few minutes. Its location is sort of tucked in a neighborhood. We both got the petites & they were only $2 each!! They were so cute & such a good deal. It was just your traditional soft serve ice cream & basic flavors. You could add toppings for $1 each. They also had cones & waffle cones. We got chocolate & blueberry & strawberry. It was the perfect amount for after dinner. It was cute & clean inside & they had several people working. Fun new ice cream place for sure!

As a sweet treat connoisseur, I can't recommend this place enough. Free sprinkles? Amazing cones? 10/10 I'll be back

The line stretched out the door and down the sidewalk. Maybe 50 deep?

Young woman coming out of the door says, it tastes like a Frosty. Um, not what you wanna hear. But epitomizes our experience. We waited 30 minutes in line on a Saturday night. Wont do that again for basic soft serve. The problem was totally at the point of sale. Plenty of folks to fill orders, but way way too long to take orders. Customer indecision also contributed. Another register would help. Product wasnt totally frozen. Perhaps related to a busy night. Im one and done.

Blueberry vanilla swirl with cheesecake topping. Lil standard size is big!

But the Hibiscus Chili was the most underrated flavor. I think it deserves a lot more hype. The ice cream shop at this location can get very busy, but the service is extremely quick. The team at Jeni's is always patient with me, even when I am confused with all their range of flavors. I particularly love how the shop smells of baked waffle cones.

The crew behind the counter operates with the high-speed efficiency of a pit crew, yet somehow maintains the absolute patience of saints while you undergo an existential crisis deciding on flavors. My personal blueprint for success was all about contrast. I engineered a double-scoop masterpiece: a heavy, deeply decadent, unapologetic chocolate base, perfectly countered by a lighter, delicate second scoop to balance the universe. It was an elite flavor pivot. Delicious doesn't even cover it. Meanwhile, my wife absolutely devoured her fruit-forward flavors with a speed that felt slightly competitive. Total sensory overload in the best way possible. I'm giving this place a flawless five stars, mostly because I have to, but also because I am currently stalking the freezer aisle of my local Publix like a person possessed, trying to hunt down pints to replicate this high until I can get back to Nashville. Should have eaten upstairs. The wait for ordering was not long which is a plus. However I feel their ordering system could be a little more streamlined, there are a lot of clicks for each item. I am used to SS in Chicago and it's the same there too. I ordered nothing crazy, a cheeseburger with added pickles and some fries, and an Arnold Palmer (50/50 lemonade and tea). We waited at our table and eventually got the text our food was ready but it took over 10 minutes after that to come out. At one point they tried to bring us someone else's food and they seemed very confused about it when we said that wasn't my order. I confirmed before we left that we didn't make a mistake while ordering so it wasn't something we did. When the food did come out it had clearly been sitting for some time. The bun had not been fully cut in half and this was not even visible inside the wrapping. It was crumpled up in a cold soggy mess at the bottom of the wrapping and was inedible. I essentially ate a naked burger. The cheese had solidified and was not at all melted showing how long the food was sitting. The fries were thankfully not cold but lukewarm at best. And to top it off my drink was incorrect, it tasted and looked like strawberry lemonade. I ended up throwing much of the meal in the trash. The person delivering the food should have noticed this was not up to par and sent it back. The cleanliness was also not up to the standard I expect at SS but considering their location and time of day I would give them a pass. Would not recommend coming here after hours.
