[July 2025] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Jeni's is kind of small on the inside so the line to get inside got long really quick.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, the staff got people through quickly considering. I had two scoops of the buttercream birthday cake ice cream. It was pretty good and refreshing on this hot summer day!
What a treat this was. These flavors might be a bit strange or not the typical flavors but let me tell you they work and are delicious. We had the Signature 3 half scoops and we got the Watermelon Taffy, Salted Peanut butter & the Lemon Bar. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance here is fun and bright it's a small space inside just a few seats to enjoy your ice cream and some tables outside as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have to go pints that you can grab and go as well and some fun souvenirs and t-shirts and other goodies. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's was clean and the workers here could have been a bit more friendly or at least a smile while you order.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It seemed like they were bothered when I asked for a taster. Overall experience was great but a smile wouldn't hurt to make the experience more enjoyable.

The Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams in downtown Nashville is the perfect treat. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As soon as you walk in, you're hit with the most amazing smell from the freshly made waffle bowls and cones, and it instantly pulls you in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They let you try as many flavors as you need (which I love because decisions are hard ), and the staff is super friendly the whole time. And the ice cream? SO good. Like, worth-every-calorie good. It's the perfect finale after a great meal and honestly just a must-stop when you're downtown.
Brambleberry Crisp Oven-toasted oat streusel and a sweet-tart brambleberry jam layered throughout vanilla ice cream. Skillet Cinnamon Roll Dark caramel, cream cheese, pastry, and cinnamon (lots of it). I really like Jeni's! The flavors are great. It's just very very sweet, so it's sometimes hard to finish. The waffle cone is the best part!

After a warm day of walking around broadway, we decided to make our way over to Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is situated in a busy shopping and food area on Broadway.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is small but they do have a few seats in front and a small table inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The workers behind the counter were polite and mostly courteous. Given the size of the shop, you might be asked to stand to the side while someone behind you that got their order served already and needs to get checked out. My exceptionally beautiful partner chose a waffle cone with Brambleberry Crisp and Gooey Butter Cake; while I had a waffle cone with Raspberry Rhubarb Delight and Rainbow Frozen Yogurt? The Rainbow Frozen Yogurt had a nice and sweet fruity flavor. The raspberry rhubarb was interesting; not sure if we would have that one again as the rhubarb was a bit odd for our flavor palette. The Brambleberry Crisp was good, and had a nice mix of creamy and berry flavors. The Gooey Butter Cake is also a nice flavor, but can be a bit heavy. Overall, we had an enjoyable visit, and was the perfect end to our time on Broadway. We would totally recommend this location.

Jeni, Jeni, who can I turn to? Listen, I was in Nashville for the week and I was here every night. Why? Is it because Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams is using Direct Trade ingredients? Nah. I just liked their ice cream flavors. First time ever at Jeni's, I had the Bramble Berry Crisp Ice cream in a homemade waffle cone. Jeni created an Oven-toasted oat streusel with a sweet-tart brambleberry jam and layered it throughout vanilla ice cream. The final result? That's some mit-T-fine ice cream, one might say (pinkie to lip, splendid?) The next night I zeroed in on the Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks. Jeni made this ice cream gem with fresh, salted roasted peanuts and chips of rich Belgian dark chocolate flecks. The end result? Jeni, I think I want to marry you. Creamy, dreams peanut butter ice cream stuffed into a warm waffle cone. I see Jeni's ice cream pints in the supermarket. It may be good but gimme a fresh scoop of this delicious ice cream. A spontaneous late night ice cream adventure led us to Jeni's and it was such a fun stop. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop itself is adorable, with such a bright and welcoming vibe[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and the staff was incredibly kind and patient while we debated between all the different flavor options. We ended up getting the Frosted Sugar Cookie, Gooey Butter Cake, and Brown Butter Almond Brittle in a waffle bowl and every flavor was SO delicious! I stopped in on Monday 10/13 around 6:30pm. I got the double dough flavor and butter cake! It was so good! Staff were friendly and would let you sample as many flavors as you'd like! It is nice and simple as well as they serve half scoops so you can try more flavors! read more

Hand down one of my top 3 fave ice cream spots. They always have great flavors! I got to 3 try the goat cheese and bloom. Both 5/5! Excellent service and it was a chill Tuesday with no lines but they seemed equipped to handle large crowds. read more

Jenis, PLEASE sell your sparkling cherry pie, boozy eggnog and banana pudding ice cream pints at Whole Foods, Fresh Market and/or Publix in South Florida. I don't like ordering ice cream online... Please, make my day! I scoured your website and looks like none of the big three stores sell these flavors in my area. I was in Nashville in October, just a few weeks ago. Now, I am not a huge sweets person. I like ice cream. I am not in love with it like some people I know. But I ordered sparkling cherry pie ice cream on the first day I was at Jeni's Downtown Nash. I also ordered brittle butter almond ice cream the first day. I think the other flavor was The Darkest Chocolate, or something like that. I actually ordered four scoops but to be fair, these are described as half scoops. They really aren't though. They are full scoops I realized. Anyway, I had a sample of the sparkling cherry pie and this is one of the two best ice creams I ever ate. It is so good, that I went each of the four days I was in Nashville to order this one flavor on a multiple scoop cone. The ice cream was like $12 per cone. However, for the quality it could actually be worth more. Heck. lower grade ice creams are almost that much, so why not order a better quality ice cream? Staff was hit or miss at this location. Some gals were cheery and others...not so much. I just wanted this delicious ice cream. I wish Jeni's had a location in the Fort Lauderdale area. Hint, hint. ;) read more

I had just finished eating over at the nearby Assembly Food Hall and was walking around when I noticed Jeni's out of my peripheral vision. Being a big fan of ice cream as well as being familiar with the Jeni's brand, I thought this would be a great finisher to my dinner, so off I went. I was first introduced to Jeni's via my local supermarket - while not the cheapest brand, the quality is great and they have a good selection of unique flavors. I then visited one of their brick and mortar shops for the first time when I was in Dallas last year which further made me a fan of their brand - so this was an easy yes when deciding to stop here for a treat. This Jeni's is located in a shopping area right in the heart of downtown so I assume they get a lot of foot traffic due to that - though I got lucky when I arrived as there was only one person in front me. The shop itself is kinda small, but they have it set up so that the flow of the line is optimized. As expected, they have a lot of unique flavors as well as the classics - as soon as it was my turn I was offered the chance to sample whichever I wanted. However, I had an idea of what I wanted from the start; I noticed on a sign outside they were highlighting a Bay Leaf Cheesecake flavor which sounded really interesting so I went with that in a cone. The ice cream itself was really good; it was creamy as I expected from Jeni's and the addition of the bay leaf gave it a slightly savory flavor - I was a fan. Service was good - the staff was eager to help and before I knew it I was checking out. Overall, this Jeni's is a solid offering in downtown Nashville - I wouldn't be against returning if I was in the area again. read more

You can never go wrong with Jeni's. That's it. That's the review. But seriously - get a standard flavor (like coffee, complete with fragrant coffee grounds) and a seasonal (like the iced gingerbread or sweet potato) and you will be set for a decadent treat. read more
Hands down the best ice cream I've ever had without all the garbage chemicals and poison they put in our food supply. Can not recommend this place enough. They even have gluten free options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place was very popular.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had a hunkering for a dessert after walking downtown and we saw this place had a line so we knew it must be good. We waited about 10 minutes before we got to the front of the line where they had so many unique flavors that it was hard to choose. I had some type of birthday cake and a chocolate Oreo cookies and cream and a waffle cone. It was very delicious and very sweet. We'll definitely visit again if we're in Nashville, another time. read more
