Their ice creams are creamy and naturally flavored. I have tried the Brambleberry Crunch, which is one of my favorites. Their Darkest Chocolate ice cream is also delicious and decadent. But the Hibiscus Chili was the most underrated flavor. I think it deserves a lot more hype. The ice cream shop at this location can get very busy, but the service is extremely quick. We had the Signature 3 half scoops and we got the Watermelon Taffy, Salted Peanut butter & the Lemon Bar. The ambiance here is fun and bright it's a small space inside just a few seats to enjoy your ice cream and some tables outside as well. They have to go pints that you can grab and go as well and some fun souvenirs and t-shirts and other goodies. It's was clean and the workers here could have been a bit more friendly or at least a smile while you order. It seemed like they were bothered when I asked for a taster. The location is small but they do have a few seats in front and a small table inside. The workers behind the counter were polite and mostly courteous. Given the size of the shop, you might be asked to stand to the side while someone behind you that got their order served already and needs to get checked out. My exceptionally beautiful partner chose a waffle cone with Brambleberry Crisp and Gooey Butter Cake; while I had a waffle cone with Raspberry Rhubarb Delight and Rainbow Frozen Yogurt? The Rainbow Frozen Yogurt had a nice and sweet fruity flavor. The raspberry rhubarb was interesting; not sure if we would have that one again as the rhubarb was a bit odd for our flavor palette. The Brambleberry Crisp was good, and had a nice mix of creamy and berry flavors. The Gooey Butter Cake is also a nice flavor, but can be a bit heavy. I also ordered brittle butter almond ice cream the first day. I think the other flavor was The Darkest Chocolate, or something like that. I actually ordered four scoops but to be fair, these are described as half scoops. They really aren't though. They are full scoops I realized. Anyway, I had a sample of the sparkling cherry pie and this is one of the two best ice creams I ever ate. It is so good, that I went each of the four days I was in Nashville to order this one flavor on a multiple scoop cone. The ice cream was like $12 per cone. However, for the quality it could actually be worth more. Heck. lower grade ice creams are almost that much, so why not order a better quality ice cream? Staff was hit or miss at this location. I had just finished eating over at the nearby Assembly Food Hall and was walking around when I noticed Jeni's out of my peripheral vision. Being a big fan of ice cream as well as being familiar with the Jeni's brand, I thought this would be a great finisher to my dinner, so off I went. I was first introduced to Jeni's via my local supermarket - while not the cheapest brand, the quality is great and they have a good selection of unique flavors. I then visited one of their brick and mortar shops for the first time when I was in Dallas last year which further made me a fan of their brand - so this was an easy yes when deciding to stop here for a treat. This Jeni's is located in a shopping area right in the heart of downtown so I assume they get a lot of foot traffic due to that - though I got lucky when I arrived as there was only one person in front me. The shop itself is kinda small, but they have it set up so that the flow of the line is optimized. As expected, they have a lot of unique flavors as well as the classics - as soon as it was my turn I was offered the chance to sample whichever I wanted. However, I had an idea of what I wanted from the start; I noticed on a sign outside they were highlighting a Bay Leaf Cheesecake flavor which sounded really interesting so I went with that in a cone. The ice cream itself was really good; it was creamy as I expected from Jeni's and the addition of the bay leaf gave it a slightly savory flavor - I was a fan. Service was good - the staff was eager to help and before I knew it I was checking out.
