We spent 5 nights in Clearwater Beach and got ice cream every night. ConeHeads was by far my favorite! First of all, they offer samples. This is HUGE to me! I love to try unique flavors but am too nervous to order a whole scoop without trying a bite first. Second, the ice cream actually tasted good! It was Blue Bell brand, and it tasted fresh and not freezer burnt like a lot of other ice cream places. Third, the customer service was great. The employee at the counter wasn't very talkative, but he gladly answered my questions and let me try like 5 samples. read more

This was probably the worse ice cream shop we're ever been to. First we tried to order a milkshake and they said they were out of milk...okay. Then we get a hot fudge sundae and the hot fudge was legit sour.. my dad suggested not eating it as it tasted sour to him. A tiny shop with tasty flavors, we tried birthday cake, strawberry cheesecake, praline pecan, and chocolate chip cookie dough. The guy behind the counter was business like, but not unfriendly. Ice cream was good , shop was clean , Area was great! There was a gentleman with long hair working he was caucasian. He was about the rudest person I've ever met, he was super rude to the costumers in front of us and he even told my 8 year old nephew " do you need help? And my nephew said no I'm ok . So worker said then what the HELL you staring at me for get out of my face !" When that happened he proceeded to take our money and talk down to us.. Very upsetting hope he has a better day and doesn't talk down to other kids like that! read more

The only thing that hurts this place is the lack of help. I went on a Sunday...and watched the owner put up a " Will be back in 15 min" sign right after I ordered. I witnessed at least 6 people walk up ready to buy ice cream only to be sent away after reading the sign. That was at least $40 worth of ice cream the owner missed out on. I get it....its a small shop with limited payroll hours. However, get a relative or a part time teen to cover the store during those times when you may have to leave unexpectedly. Other than that....great ice cream at a fairly reasonable price. read more

The ice cream was good, but it is so overpriced. We went there a few times to try and get milkshakes just because it was so close to our hotel but every time they said they were "out of milkshakes". A better experience this time. It is $3.50 for a cup of ice cream and my kids visited it twice. They seemed to love the ice cream and the owner was nicer. The younger boy is very nice! A great place for a night time ice cream run. read more
