Our tee time was for Sat April 18th at 340p. We got there in plenty of time. My husband was playing as a single with 3 others. My husband paid his money, got his cart and checked in with the attendant. Next thing we know, the worker sent out my husbands group without my husband. He then told us we had to wait for another 4 some to go before he could go which we said no. So that was a bad way to start out the round. We call on the 9th hole the grill to order food and the guy answered was very rude and said they were too busy and couldn't answer the phone and definitely couldn't bring out our order to us. He said if we wanted food we would have to come in stand in line and wait. We were hungry and NOT impressed. We pull up to park our cart when we are done and the attendant says you must stop here! You can't take the cart to your car to unload. So we unpack and carry all of our belongings to our car, meanwhile a huge group of guys go speeding by us on their carts to their car to unload. Very pretty golf course but absolutely disappointed and unimpressed. read more

Conestoga is truly an amazing course. Established in 2009, this course is ranked Top 5 course in the state of Nevada. The grounds crew keeps the desert landscape well maintained, including the greens. The staff from top to bottom were all very helpful and knowledgeable of the course. This course was way above my skill level but the scenic views were worth the embarrassment. If you're an above average golfer. This is the course for you. The back nine will definitely frustrate you on a windy day. The price tag is a little hefty but packages are available. Don't forget the 1880 club. Good food and nice bar. read more

Couples Golf trip. this course beat all the others we played. We enjoyed the layout and challenges of the course. The practice facility is top notch, driving range, chipping green and putting green centrally located and on the way to first tee. Beware No markers to indicate tee boxes without actually seeing markers so we drove past some and had to back track. Greens were fast. We will be back. read more

Just about an hour and twenty minutes north of Las Vegas is this new Golf Course. What's nice about this course is that it's fairly new and was opened to the public in February of 2010. The facility is managed by Troon golf and it's in immaculate condition. I was blow away how many holes are just breathtaking with spectacular views. We never saw another golfer in front of us the entire round of golf which is just unheard of. Eventually there will be residential homes build here but right now it's just your group playing in different elevations throughout the beautiful mountains. The course has five different tee boxes and plays from the back tees at 7272 yards 147 slope ( Higher the number the harder) and front tees at 5017 yards - 111 slope. I highly recommend this place it's well worth the drive to Mesquite for the day. the new club house will be build in 2011. Golf course was in excellent condition and is a fun and challenging layout, but the pace of plays extremely slow. Two marshals on the course, but did nothing to help the slow Play - then got mad at us when we brought it to their attention. The course put out a five-some of course employees In front of a twosome and then our threesome, and they were VERY slow. I would not play here again. read more

What a dog track..... -Greens are worse than any municipal coarse. Most of them had dead laid sod. Your ball doesn't roll; it bounces. Beyond dry. -Coarse had a group of seven. Sucked waiting. -Afterwards went to the pro shop and asked for a discount for next time and the bearded dude said he can't help gave two sh$ts. Goods are: Golf cart girl was great and stopped 5 times. Great service in restaurant. For the amount this place charges, there are way too many other options to play. read more

They kicked my kids off the putting green today!Told me it's $20 dollars for four hours of practice per person never mentioned if balls were included and seemed to enjoy the fact they were getting rid of kids(supposed to be the future of the game)they only cater to old farts that can't break100.So sad that this place has bad customer service because we called and they said practice area open to the public!So anyone under the age of 40 be prepared to be hovered over by over zealous ranger ricks that want nothing but keeping it very crusty!Archaic old ways will never keep this game we all love thriving.I suggest the Palmer course at oasis or falcon ridge they treat everyone with respect. read more

Nice layout. Not as interesting or as challenging as many of the other courses in town. One hole looked just like the next. Too many blind shots. We did get good pre-round directions from the marshal and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The course was in good shape. Greens were hard, but fast and true. Grass was a bit thin in places. The sand traps were awful, almost unplayable. No sand, just hard pan at the bottom. The desert hazard areas were softer and more playable. The course gets one star, the restaurant in the clubhouse gets 5 stars.great food and service. Have lunch there, play somewhere else. read more

Very nice property, very nice course, was in good shape considering we were there in late June. Staff is extremely helpful. Won't get into an intricate rating of the golf course here as if you are looking here on Yelp for this review, you just want a general overview. Very beautiful course, if you hit the ball long, you will be frustrated on many holes that require you to lay back. If you do not hit the ball more than 150 + yards off the tee, you are going to be frustrated. There are many many holes that require a decent carry off the tee's. Even if you move up on the tee's, you would have to go way way up to get past the carry and then you will lose much of the beauty of the course. Low to Mid Handicappers are really going to like it. You have carry a little bit and be pretty straight. High Handicappers / Hackers ----- enjoy the scenery, bring a bucket of shag balls, you are going to need it.... did I mention, enjoy the scenery ???? Play it early in day. If it is windy, especially in later afternoons', the back nine is BRUTAL. So if the wind is howling, think twice. read more

Absolutely stunning course and amazing staff. From the second I got out of my car I was greeted and they took my clubs for me and got them on to the cart while I checked in. Granted I was running behind and was about only 5 minutes from my tee time, it was still great they helped me start on time. Everything from the starter to the pro shop was a great experience. Once I got to the cart the starter gave me a rundown of the course and they even had a cooler with ice and water on the carts. If you haven't played here it can be a bit challenging, with a few blind shots as other people have mentioned. But there is a card with a breakdown of each hole, so that helps. I played in July when it was 118, so I just played a quick 9 holes in the AM before it got too hot on a Saturday. Played by myself so I was able to finish in 1.5 hours Overall it was a great golf experience, would definitely recommend!! read more

I was already told that this course was worth the $$ So when I get there at 1045 I was greeted by Eric who was Great. He got me right out and sent me to Marcus who gave me the local rules some advice and got me on the first tee in four minutes. Did I tell you it was $25??? This course was beautiful and fun and although I don't put well on Bermuda it was a real blast. So just when I thought it was over I go into the bar area got a drink and ordered a Cuban sandwich which was just as awesome and I met the chef and this guy can cook his ass off. If you don't golf then go for the food. I'll be back!!!!!! read more

This course is so much more of a championship golf course than both the Oasis courses combined! From the staff to the restaurant everything is 5 star ! The only thing I have to get picky about is the bunkers. Some more sand in the bunkers would be great, a little thin in the sand dept. The rest of the course is PGA TV worthy, except for the bunkers. 12 or so of the holes are great. 6 are really target golf and kind of ruin the rest of the course as you will run out of fairway in a hurry if you don't know the course. Also, I never have high marks for a course where you can't hit driver on all par 5s. It's a bit over priced (paid $100...should be more in the $60 range), but it is in nice shape. The course was nice and in pretty good shape. The staff was kind and helpful. My only complaint is that there was no Marshall, we went off at 11:40am and were behind a group playing very slow we didn't get to finish as it got too dark to see at 5:45pm. They should have people monitoring pace of play, not finishing in 6 hours is unacceptable. Also I feel like a course in mesquite should have the GPS on the cart like all the other ones down there I have played. read more

What a great course. Very challenging. It starts in the pro shop when I bought the summer package from Ryan. He explained the whole thing to me, as we just moved into Sun City Mesquite in May. The there is Pat who is another friendly employee. Have a question, ask him. Get your bag set up in the cart & when you're done with your round, it's Craig taking care of you. He's a great guy & doesn't rush you, always has a nice greeting & talks to you. Helluva guy. The course is impeccable. Lots of thinking goes into this course, but it's also a lot of fun. Being my home course, I will conquer it one day. Can't wait to get out there again. Don't forget to eat in the 1880 Grill when your done. Their food is fabulous. read more

Conestoga offers a great track with awesome canyon vistas. They also have a fantastic driving range and practive facility that you would expect at high end private courses. The course is still young, but the conditions are good. Greens are great. I recommend spending a couple days playing the course to really get to know it and enjoy the canyons. They just opened their club house - I liked the food. All the people we met were very friendly and ready to make our stay enjoyable. Overall I highly recommend Conestoga. read more
