We played this course as part of a 3 day golf/birthday trip! Once we arrived to the course the workers brought our carts to our vehicles so we could load up right there in the parking lot. They told us where everything was and how to get to the first tee! The course was amazing, we played the Canyons course. Came here yesterday and it was my very first time golfing. We went to the canyons course. The course was beautiful and well taken care of and the cost was like half the cost of many course in St. George, but I'd probably not recommend that first timers come here ha. It's apparently a little bit harder of a course, and a fair amount of holes are setup so that you basically have to know what you are doing in order not to lose a 1000 balls. Apparently though there were some amenities that were provided that aren't so common at other courses. They provided a few tees, wet towels to wipe off your clubs and coolers attached to the carts with water and ice already in them. The reason I give 3 stars instead of 4 or even five was the course marshall. At about hole 16 it was getting a bit darker but we could still see perfectly fine, the Marshall drove up to us and said "this is your last hole". When we asked why, he said "don't you know it's 6 o'clock?" He acted as if there was some sort of rule that everyone has to stop at 6. However when questioning him if this was actually the case all he would say is " what are you gonna do, play in the dark?" We paid for 18 holes and were only slightly behind pace to do it in our 4.5 hour time slot. Thing is, he was not friendly about it at all, he was a jerk about it the whole time. If there really is some sort of curfew, there should be a disclaimer when we book the tee time, or it should be mentioned when we came in to pay. read more

Played Palmer course. Greens were in pristine condition. Rolling fast, but able to hold an approach shot. Some incredible views from some top elevated tee decks. Definitely playing this one again on the next trip! read more

Service was the worst we've ever been treated. No locals discount even tho there is one on the website. Started us an hour late then booted us with at least another hour of light. Eyeballed every 2 holes by Rangers and were treated like they didn't want us there. Thanks for trying to ruin a celebration weekend. read more

Played Palmer course today. It was a windy day with 20-30 mph. Practice facilities was good with range, chipping green and putting green. Free range balls. 4 ladies played the gold tees since struggling against wind. The greens were hard for approach shots to hold and found ourselves off the back. We enjoyed the course layout and challenges. It is a loop course so no passing clubhouse at turn. Has a snack wagon at 9th hole. Restrooms spaced out through course. We would recommend and play again. Played the Canyon Course today. This course is more a rolling city course with not as much as elevation change. The course has fluffy rough and the greens were fast. Traps have no sand. We would Opt to play Palmer before Canyon. read more

We played the Canyon Course today and the conditions were excellent. The views on this course were spectacular and we played in 3:45 minutes which was also great. I highly recommend this course to anyone visiting the area. read more

This course was a very well manicured course. But the staff and the personnel were phenomenal. They did everything in their power to accommodate us on the golf course, in the kitchen and the pro shop went above and beyond their call of duty. We had an amazing experience!!! read more

A nice club with two courses on being an Arnold Palmer course. I have not played the the club yet though I've used their driving range.

We made a golf trip to St George and Mesquite. This is the worst course we played although the price is still on the high side. It doesn't worth the value when it doesn't include range ball, cart with gps and unfriendly staff! We played 4 hours 10 minutes to finish but the Marshall told us at 9th hole that we were behind. Palmer was a fun course with some great views, elevated tee boxes, and greens hidden in the canyon. Fairways and greens were in great condition. Staff was friendly. I plan on driving back up here a few times a year. read more

Golfers that golf at Oasis Golf Course should be more alert when they hit their golf balls off the course. Especially when golfers are golfing near Pioneer Blvd. I was traveling on Pioneer Blvd. on 7/31/23 hours between 11:30am & 11:50am when a golf ball hit my car windshield and broke it. Golfers at this course, should be more careful. There would be less broken windshields. Unfortunately this course, wasn't really all that concerned about my windshield after talking with Adam on the phone from the Oasis Golf Course, he laughed & told me that there was no liability on the course. I could not go to the course and tell them about my windshield at the time my car was hit because, my wife had important Doctor Appt. Please all golfers be careful when golfing. read more

Went on a golf trip to Mesquite and St. George. This was the best course out of the three we went to. Very well taken care of throughout! Greens could use a little love as some spots are beat up keeping it from a 5 star rating, course was fun and challenging! read more

Course was great club house staff was awful so that's why I gave 1 star. They treat you like you've been there before and you know where everything is at. The lady at the front desk was a royal B***H telling me there was a booking fee and there was none I showed her my confirmation e Mail and she wanted none of it was tired of getting my ass chewed out so I just paid. Couldn't get golf cart so had to pack club to driving range didn't know where to get range balls because no one was there to give them to you so had to go back in clubhouse to have someone give balls to me. When your a first timer there and on vacation have some common courtesy to your guest we are paying money to you. Don't need to be treated like shit. I golf at least 2 times weekly so I do know my golf etiquette. read more

My friend and I golfed two rounds here last week, The Palmer and The Canyons. We liked both courses but preferred The Palmer. Granted we were there in late January but the Palmer was in better shape and was a more challenging course than The Canyons. If you are golfing several days in a row or over a 3 -4 day stretch I would recommend the Canyons if you want a little easier time on the course. It was good to golf that course the day after Wolf Creek as it made us feel better (well a little) about our golf game. Not sure we will do the Canyons if we go back but will certainly golf the Palmer again no doubt about it. read more

The staff was accomodating and got me out one hour prior to my scheduled tee time so I appreciate that and the Canadian guys (Aye!) I played golf with were good natured and fun, but finishing up with the Oasis Palmer track following prior day rounds at Wolf Creek and Bad Lands earlier in the week, I was a bit disappointed w/ this bland layout. Many of the holes were the standard NV golf, hit the drive out over the 75 yds to 125 yard desert landscape to a fairly narrow fairway and then straight into the hole. Not a lot of variation or challenging obstacles as far as I could see and the homes bordering the fairways drove home the "blahness" I felt as I traversed the course. I did see a road runner in the wild so that was cool! And the cart woman was right on time...so I guess I'll bump my tempation to rate Oasis a 2 (meh) to an (A-ok) 3! read more

We played the Palmer course on October 21st. Course was in great condition, but pace of play was so so. I loved the course, but I have 2 complaints which I hope you will listen to. First I believe there should never be any fivesomes allowed on any course, because it slows down the pace of play way too much. Second I did not see a Marshall on the course the whole round to keep the pace of play up was there a reason for that? Now to the staff you guys were awesome, and very helpful for our first time playing the course please keep it up! I will definitely play this course again, but you really need to keep the pace of play up on the course! Thank You. read more

Overall, this golf course is adequate. A fun course with some of the dramatic cliffs of wolf creek, but basically a poor man's wolf creek. However, I shot the greatest round of my life, 73, 2 over par. Thus it will now and forever be my favorite golf course. 4 birdies... yeeeah read more

Hands down one of THE best golf courses I have played in my life. I first saw this course featured on the Golf Channel show: Big Break Mesquite. It looked really fun on TV, and it was even better in person! This review is for the Palmer course. The course features several elevation changes and is carved out of the canyons making some very scenic shots. One of the holes even has a warning sign to watch out for golfers below because it's a 150 ft drop from the tee box! The course was very well maintained and I didn't have much of a problem finding miss-hit balls. The carts were equipped with bottles of water and coolers which the cart ladies came by frequently to replenish. The clubhouse is nice, not the biggest I've ever seen, but very spacious and they have a nice little cafe which hit the spot after our round of golf in 100+ degree temps. We got a very good deal on our round too, maybe it was the high temps or the fact I was knowledgeable about the show and from Michigan, but we paid under $100 for two people and club rental! I can't wait to come back here and try the Canyons course!!! read more

This has always been the restaurant to go to for breakfast or lunch. I've taken guests from out of town because the food is consistently good. Lately though the service has been very poor we had to wait for 45 minutes to get our order taken on a Sunday morning. Today 5 of us attempted to have lunch there our order wasn't taken for an hour, we ended up walking out after our order was finally taken. The bus person kept our water glasses filled but we had to ask her twice for a server. Unacceptable. read more

We really enjoyed playing this course but the guys in the pro shop are lacking two things....customer service and a personality. One would think, if the majority of your business is coming from tourists, you would be greeted with a smile but this seems to be to much to ask for. Staff was very short with us after their awkward acknowledgement of our presence. Again, nice course but I will not be coming back. I will make the drive to Coyote Springs and pay the extra cash! Horrible customer service. I came from out of town to play Oasis with my brother. Before I putted out on the 1st green it started sleeting sideways and didn't stop. We went back to clubhouse and requested a refund of our $150 (each) green fee. The dude in the clubhouse refused to refund our fees. After my complaints, he said he'd give me a rain check for 9 holes. Since I don't live anywhere near Mesquite and will probably never play golf there again, a rain check does me no good. The pro shop manager didn't care. Oasis doesn't do the right thing by its customers. Horrible customer service. I have tons of avid golfer friends in California who golf in Nevada and Southern Utah---I will tell all of them to never patronize this golf course. Oasis was the most expensive golf I've every played----one hole cost me $150. Oasis essentially took my $150 and told me to piss off. Don't play here. read more

Played the Palmer course here on Sunday. Cost $75 and I have to say it was worth it. Its a really nice course that was well maintained with nice desert canyon layout. You get some nice views on the tee boxes and greens. Its an Arnold Palmer designed course that opened in 1995 and has a bit of an old school feel to it. Would definitely take the drive up from Vegas to play again. read more

Poor mans Wolf Creek or not, found a tee time online for about half of what the club house was offering. The course is layed out great. Really enjoyed the elevation changes from tee box to fairway. Food at the club house is not bad either, probably one of the better places to eat in Mesquite read more

I was out here Last summer for a guys trip. We played both courses and had a blast. The course was in pristine condition. Everyone was very nice there and was very helpful. My friend forgot his brand new range finder on one of the tee boxes and sure enough when we realized he didnt have it, we called and they said " yes we have it here come down and get it". Amazing. Spectacular experience. Played the canyon course two days in a row. The course is in fantastic shape. Ascetics were superior - although it slopes at 138 from the tips, not a lot of risk/reward opportunities. But highly playable for golfers of all skills. The staff is top notch! read more
