Scratch catered a delicious meal and was more than accommodating of our family and friends. Amy was very pleasant to work with in planning the event. She and her husband were very gracious and went above and beyond to make sure our event was the success that it was. Overall, everyone attending said they loved the food and was complimentary of the venue. We appreciate you Amy, your husband and all the staff of Scratch for your great customer service! We wish you much continued success with your business endeavors!!

Saturday night date night- here is what we liked. * Busy but…read morenot crowded, several seating choices. * Live music was very good- and this will make me sound old. It wasn't to loud. Could enjoy but still have a conversation with my date. * The brisket nachos, every time are. A winner. Solid chips that can hold the weight of brisket, queso and all the good stuff. * The bartender making the cocktails had a vibe that he loved what he was doing, very refreshing. * All the staff were friendly. * Smoked chicken was flavorful and moist . *I realize pickles don't go on nachos but I love their pickles What could of been better: * Git the Texas Twinkies, stuffed jalapeños wrapped in a brown sugar bourbon bacon. They were good, unfortunately they were really overcooked. Liked them, just didn't love them. *The Mac n Cheese was ok, little pasty. I am a bit of a mac n cheese snob. Was ok but not great. Overall a fantastic date night. Will be back. I so want to give them 5 stars, we are at 4.5 but so close

I am going to say... HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Some of the best chicken take out that I have ever had. The building is upgraded from the previous business and it looks great ... I file that under first impressions as I drove in. It looks brand new. Service was friendly at the drive up, and l love their menu and how they display your order and the price to review. It was easy to read and understand for this senior. For once, the take out speakers I am communicating for my order, I can actually hear the person clearly. My first order was chicken wings. TO DIE FOR... also some chicken livers.... delicious and generous portion (large)...... and the wife tried their pot pie... very good!! I love fried chicken and this is my go to place now. Looking forward to trying some of their other dishes. Keep up the good work guys!! Very impressed. Welcome to Flint twp! Nice there is a traffic light here for access to Miller road both ways. Nice article attached. https://www.mlive.com/news/flint/2025/02/lees-famous-recipe-chicken-to-open-in-flint-area.html

I've always enjoys the quality of their meals, but not so much today. Whoever it was that prepared the food today needs more training. The Chicken was tasteless, the mac n cheese was horrible and the green beans tasted like they poured it out of a can and just slightly heated it. I was very disappointed and hope it was just a fluke. With the sky-high prices right now. I hope to get my moneys worth when I decide to dine out. This time it was a horrific failure. Very disappointed.

When I go to pick up the second half, I noticed there was something in it. It was a bread tag. I said to my friends, "um look what was in my sandwich " the waiter comes and they said to him "look what was in her sandwich." He was extremely nice and polite and said, "oh no! You are not paying for that." Took my plate away. The next thing we know here comes Alex, the kitchen manager, storming to the table callinge a liar and I put it in the food. So I brought a bread tag all the way from Lansing to the Soogy Bottom in Flint just to put it in a burger? That sounds ridiculous! I never even asked for my food to be comped. And the waiter even said, "no, they never asked. That was me." I didn't even expect it to be comped. I was planning on paying full price. Then he said, "good because you are. You are a liar." Then tried to say he never accused me. You just did, by saying I put it in my food to get my meal comped and called me a liar. It escalated into a extremely heated argument. He said, "I am a manager so it's my job to be a prick" umm no sir, that is NOT how a manager should act. I definitely can afford a sandwich and fries. He needs to be fired! That is extremely unprofessional!

This evening I ordered the following from DoorDash:…read more * Pasta Verdura (x1) * Side Caesar (x2) I very clearly stated to NOT place my cold salads on top of hot pasta in the bag. I have to state this because they always do this. When my order was delivered I received the Verdura and one House Salad, not my two Caesar Salads. In addition, the House Salad was on top of the hot pasta and was therefore hot as well. Furthermore, the pasta was swimming in sauce. I called the restaurant and spoke with a gentleman. I believe his name was James. I explained the errors to him. He did not apologize at all. In fact, he told me that I either did not enter the note appropriately, or it did not come through on their end. He said that he bagged up my order. He also said nothing about the salad screwups. I told him that putting cold salads on top of hot pasta is their common practice with my orders, he said nothing. I told him that I was bringing this to his attention so that they could improve this practice. Once again, no response. I said to him that not putting cold salads on top of hot pasta should be common sense. He replied with, "I'm not going to have this discussion with you. You can take it up with DoorDash. Well, I am going to take it up with DoorDash and Sauce just lost a frequent and loyal customer. If he bagged up my order he obviously did not check to ensure the order was accurate. His attitude sucked: no apology and blaming the customer. Disgraceful! P.S. No salad dressing with the House Salad.
