Braided immediately once we sat down. The server was very nice. We told her it was our first time. She didn't offer any suggestions or ask if we had any questions. There's no prices on the menu but the specials list is extremely reasonable. So I imagine the prices are reasonable. We'll find out shortly... Decorated with Mansfield paraphernalia. There's a counter you can sit at and watch the chefs cook your breakfast. The bacon is thin I would ask for it to be next time. My hash browns are perfect soft on the inside crispy on the outside. Sausage link has a lot of flavor. My eggs are the perfect over medium. And my English muffin it's perfectly toasted. I only been there once and got the pizza burger and it was good. The workers was nice and the service was nice

The service was courteous and on point and the food was delicious. I had the western omelet with hash browns. The place is showing its age which isn't necessarily a bad thing (I'm sure that I also fit that category). I'm on a golf trip and had no plans to be in Mansfield this morning, but a cracked windshield has me scrambling to find a fix. read more

Reasonably priced on the Square and their Coney dogs were good. They seem to have lunch specials as well.

Very disappointing place. I wanted to like it, but alas, it was not to be. It was the only place open here, but only one waitress was serving about 25 people. We felt terrible for her because she really hustled. The two stars are really for her and not anything else. Big bear got the Coney with crinkle cut fries and jalapeño poppers. Lamentable canned chili taste, he was not happy. Fries were greasy. Poppers were actually good according to him and my bestie. My bestie got the Coney with the poppers and was only truly pleased with the poppers. I got the sirloin 6 oz, two eggs scrambled, and English muffin. The steak flavour-wise was good, but it was tough as leather and a far cry from the medium I oredered. The eggs were overly dry, but passable. As for the muffin, no jams or jellies offered and they charge 65 cents extra for it. And for iced tea, I've had better in several places. What upset me the most is the condition of the diner. There are panels, pulling away from the wall, and the ceiling was in disrepair. Not even the bathroom was memorable. They leave a far less than positive impression. Again I repeat, this is not a reflection on the waitress. She hustled hard and fast, very polite. They should be lucky they have her. This place is one that we will not be back to. Coney Island Inn was a restaurant me and my family grew up going to. In all of the years I've been going there, the food has always been good quality and great quantity. The prices are pretty good too. The servers are always friendly and make you feel welcome. They don't rush you out of the restaurant like some of the bigger restaurant chains sometimes do. They have a counter for you to sit at, as well as booths and tables, and give you an old diner feel. They have THE BEST CONEYS in Mansfield. I don't care if you hear that the other Coney Island (by the Carousel) has the best coneys, I've compared, and I beg to differ! Try them for yourself! read more

My son and I hopped in here for a fun diner experience while visiting the Mansfield area. The young ladies behind the counter were super sweet. Food was yummy...especially the milkshake...and my son LOVED sitting at the counter. Def a good choice. read more

I wish they wouldn't have made my chili cheese fries so soggy.. they use something that is more like a sloppy joe mix/ pasta sauce chunky tomatoes.....to top their "Chili" cheese fries. They were inedible. I've attached a photo of them and hopefully they will try some actual chili and not soupy sauce. So disappointed because they have good chili on the coneys... I just wasted money and food. read more

Yummy local place to grab a great fast bite. I tried something new to me and that was a coney with kraut!! Where has this been all my life?!?!? You have the option of fresh cut , krinkle, or sweet potato fries. I think there may have been another option in there but I can't remember I'm getting old!! Our service was very friendly and this is a well worn and loved local place that will be a favorite as we relocate to the area. read more

Nice little diner. Always has been clean when we've been there. The last time service was lacking some. When you walk in, you feel like you're stepping back into the 50's. They mainly have hotdogs and burgers. If you are there on a day when they have the shredded chicken special, I highly recommend ordering it. It is very delicious and my favorite thing to eat here! read more

There isn't much good to say about this place, unfortunately. It's very out dated inside and kind of disgusting. The table was sticky and I felt dirtier after washing my hands in the bathroom than before I went in. The food isn't any better. I ordered 2 Coneys, Fries and a Coke. For starters, the chili was really dark and weird looking. The actual hot dog was mushy, like it had been boiled for 3 weeks. I never made it to the second coney. The fries were freshly made but unfortunately they were as mushy as the hot dog. I will say the Coke was good, the highlight of the meal. I won't go back to this place. read more

Wait staff very friendly. Might sound silly but I had one of the best Rueben sandwiches I've ever had. Just a Rueben on toasted rye but I think what made it good for me was that the sauerkraut wasn't sour and overpowering. I'll go back. read more

Our waitress was fabulous... that's why I'm giving two stars and not one. She was very personable and knowledgeable about the food. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak special which was good... the chicken was not shredded like most cheesesteaks. As you may expect, everything there is like diner food... fried or preserved and not super fresh. My coworkers both had coney dogs... the one was border line bluish green. When asked the waitress about the color, she didn't even offer to get another one... gross. Funny waitress... but may have food poisoning the next day. Be cautious on what you order. read more

Coney Island Inn may hold a lot of people's hearts in Mansfield locally, but definitely not mine. No clue why this place is so highly recommended, or even in business! Had to seat ourselves...even if we were the only 2 customers in the entire building. Place has a cool diner vibe but that's about where it stops completely. Once we sat down, our waitress finally noticed us after about 5 minutes chatting with the grill cook. We got the menus and looked over what was to offer, and the whole menu sounded great. Coneys, fries, shakes, you name it. We each ordered a foot long coney and fries. Wait time really wasn't that long, as it shouldnt be for the type of food it is, but as soon as we both bit into the coneys, we regretted it. Sauce is terrible tasting and is probably the worst looking stuff on the planet. We called the waitress over to ask if we could just pay for the fries since we didn't like the coneys and she tells us no since we "ordered it, and took a bite" even if it tasted bad. After even asking if we could get something different in place of what we got, she refused. The entire time all this is happening the grill cook is behind the counter shaking his head and laughing. So I go up to the counter to pay for our one bite of a hot dog, drink and fries that we didn't even eat, and it racks up to $14. This just added to the awful experience this place has to offer.
