I was here a few months ago and still think about the cannoli waffle. It was absolutely delicious and the waffle was soft and still warm. I got a small (2 scoops), and my favorite flavor was the m&m monster. It was vanilla base with m&m candies, peanut butter swirl and oatmeal cookie pieces! The other I tried was the birthday cake which was alright. I liked the abundance of sprinkles, but it had gotten a little icy so that was disappointing. Overall, it wasn't my all-time favorite ice cream place, but it was good, and you can't beat the location. We crossed the street to walk the beach while eating our ice cream. P. S. I have been to the Asbury location and had a better experience. I felt rushed even though I was the last person in line. I made the mistake of not knowing that they don't give samples, when asked to try a particular flavor I was rudely told they don't do samples, but I was welcome to get several different scoop flavors. I wasn't going to waste money on flavors I wasn't sure of. I asked for strawberry but they were out and was pushed to try a few different complicated flavors that had strawberry in them. I decided against getting anything. My suggestion, try the Asbury location. I can't guarantee they currently have samples but at least I know you will be treated better. read more

There are many flavors of ice cream to choose from however, you are not allowed samples to help you make up your mind. If you are torn between two, go with the classics as there are way too many components in most of the flavors. Once you get your dish, you might be as shocked as I was to see that the flavor is not strong at all. My best friend stated that the coffee didn't standout at all in her scoop. I noticed a similar incident with my butter pecan. There was also hints of frost bite or refreezing in the cup. Overall, if you are just looking for a quick scoop, go on in. Stopped by here while visiting Long Branch for Father's Day and the first thing you notice is the VERY long line. Not to worry though it went surprisingly quick and we got down to eating some pretty good ice cream on a hot day. My daughters ordered the vegan orange cream ice cream (it only came in vegan and she loves that flavor) and the cotton candy ice cream in waffle cones. I ordered (2) flavors on one cone ( peanut butter vanilla and pistachio almondine). All of the ice cream flavors were great even though my younger daughter wore half of her ice cream because even the small cones are huge portions. The price wasn't too bad either. The service was quick and friendly and by the register they have a container full of wet wipes which you are going to need! The biggest problem with this place is that it doesn't offer samples. They made it seem like it was a pandemic decision, but in 2023, the only reason is being lazy or cheap. If we were allowed to try the flavors we ended up getting, we wouldn't have gotten 4 flavors that each tasted terrible. The raspberry chocolate chunk tasted horribly artificial and the s'mores flavor just didn't taste like anything s'mores related. It's a shame because the menu looks good and maybe the soft serve is better, but the business decision to not allow samples makes me not even want to give it to benefit of the doubt. read more

This place is the best. I just went to the first location on the shore yesterday and got lucky enough to end up near this one today. They have insanely over the top shakes that make Black Tap look like nothing. Honestly though they're so over the top that you have to appreciate the creativity and the architecture involved. To end my Saturday night on memorial day weekend 2019, I was in the mood for some ice cream. Since I was still in the long branch boardwalk area, i saw this location of coney island waffles. There was a long line to order, so I knew this was going to be a good spot, since everyone was waiting on the line for something. While on line, I was looking at the ice cream choices they have.
