This place was such a disappointment. We went to celebrate a friend's bachelorette and we had called ahead to make the reservation for 10 people and we asked if there was a cover charge or if we needed to pay for tables to get in. The host told us there was no cover and that we just come in and it's drinks from the bar. So we went. When we get there we tell them we called and that we had a reservation. The host asks us if we want to get table with bottle service. We said no that we would just be getting drinks at the bar. And the host just stands there tapping at her tablet and making quick eye contact with the bottle service girl wearing all white. The host asks again if we want bottle service and again we said no she's talking on her ear piece to the other girl by the entrance and says "they don't want it" and I see the other girl shaking her head like they will not be letting us in without getting bottle service. So I ask the host can we get a table with out bottle service? She says no... So we ask her how much is bottle service? She says $150. So we confirm "so a table for all 10 of us and bottle service is $150" she says yes. So our group reluctantly and ok we will get the table. The 10 of us go in and are pointed to the back where there is 1 table that seats 6 and another that seated 2. (There was a booth style seating on one side and 4 chairs). We take a seat and there's automatically 4-5 staff around us. They start asking what we want and we tell them that we got bottle service and that the hosted told us it would be $150 and one of the waitresses says "no It's $300" we are sitting there confused. Why are we getting different information? The waitress then tells us that one table is 150 and the other table is also 150 so one of us goes outside to confirm with the host and she says yes 150 only gets you one table. So we tell her that we made a reservation for 10. Why would you not seat us properly. All she says is "that is just how it is." So we just all smush into the six person table. By this time the waitresses had brought our bottle which was tequila and they brought two cans of Fresca and glasses with ice. Another lady comes over with another menu asking us if we want hookah which we ended up getting at $100 (way too expensive). By the end of the night our charge with service charge was $500. How do you quote $150 for a bottle service but charge $300?! This place is such a scam. Yeah the atmosphere is nice and the music was good but really not worth it. They are just there to take advantage of you.

We stopped by on a Tuesday evening around 7:30 and it was hopping. The restaurant is two levels and has indoor and outdoor seating both. We were seated outside next to the street. We started off the meal with complimentary bread, which was amazing as we were starving from a long bike ride earlier. The menu has a good selection of tapas as well as a couple different types of paella. For the paella, the minimum size they can make is for two people. We tried: Tortilla de patatas (110 pesos) - we enjoyed this Chistorra i.e. grilled Spanish sausage (95 pesos) - too salty, had to eat it with the croquetas to make it more palatable Croquetas de setas (95 pesos) - was okay but had a weird / slightly sweet aftertaste I didn't like Paella de montana (230 pesos pp) - chicken paella was good. I wish there was slightly less chicken and more rice I'd say the paella was the best part of the meal. The tapas were a bit hit or miss. But overall it's a cute restaurant with decent food, and we enjoyed our experience here.

The kitchen is open so you can peer in to see your food cooking. We ordered the seafood paella which takes about 40 mins to cook at about 250 pp and you can only order this with a minimum of 2 people. So I would suggest to order first and the other stuff can be ordered later. Seafood paella was subpar because the rice was burnt, not charred. but considering we were in Mexico - it was a nice taste. We loved the pulpo appetizer though - it was soft and had some great flavors. The people are genuine and they don't attempt to scam you. So we were happy about that!

If you are not staying at the hotel, be sure you tell the gate keeper that you are going to this restaurant when approaching the hotel. The workers will point you towards the restaurant. The hotel itself is beautiful, it feels like you are walking through an indoor plant nursery. The meal started off at the bar outside of the dining area, where reimagined cocktails are served before your meal. My party and I were served by Luis here who was the sweetest and thoughtful. Luis's cocktails set the expectations very high. Then you are moved to the dining area where you are offered a wine menu and the appetizers and entrees begin coming out. Each dish was explained and plated perfectly. They are small plates, not full plate coursed meals. I wish the cocktails were served at the end of the meal as the heavy sweetness factor did fill us up by the middle of the dinner, we were stuffed. If you are in cancun I believe that this is a necessary stop in your itinerary. For around 125USD per person you will have a classy dining experience. Email the restaurant beforehand to make a reservation, they're not the best with their communication but once you get a reservation, you have no worries. Get the bottle of wine with dinner- treat yoself.

Once we stepped onto the deck overlooking the lagoon, the whole experience elevated even further. The scenery was stunning, soft lights reflecting off the water, a gentle breeze, and live music drifting through the air like the perfect soundtrack to an already unforgettable night. Then came the food, each dish was its own little masterpiece. The bread service alone set the tone: warm, golden rolls with just the right touch off salt. The wedge salad followed. It was crisp, cold, and generously dressed, with smoky bacon and bright tomatoes adding all the right contrasts. The dry-aged steak was the star of the table, cooked perfectly with that deep, rich flavor only dry-aging can create. The roasted peppers and silky sauce on the side made every bite feel intentional. The octopus was another standout, tender, beautifully charred, and plated with a vibrant puree that balanced the dish with a touch of sweetness. One of the best plates we had. The table got more entrees since there were 8 of us but didn't get pictures. Sea brass was another favorite. Even the lobster soup arrived with flair: a velvety bowl paired with a seafood-topped toast that brought texture and richness together in one elegant bite. The beef tartare with fries was classic and fresh, refined without losing its fun. Dessert turned into a full performance. The liquid-nitrogen ice cream came with swirling clouds of cold vapor, dramatic and delicious. The birthday cake arrived crowned with berries and a sparkling candle that lit up the whole table. And just when we thought the night couldn't get any more whimsical, out came the towering blue cotton candy, playful, over-the-top, and impossible not to smile at. Harry's doesn't just serve dinner. It creates an experience, one where the service, the scenery, the atmosphere, and the food all work together to make you feel celebrated. We came to Harry's a couple years back when we visited Cancun and I am celiac and I had a lovely dinner with my partner. On this visit, we were seated at a beautiful table and we ordered drinks. Our waiter, a bald headed young man 30s, refused to check with the kitchen to see if they could accommodate me. I am celiac not vegan. I was told there was nothing I could eat except steak and he proceeded to show us the entire steak selection. Truthfully I was feeling slightly unwell from not eating the entire day. I felt like fish, he said I can give you dry fish no sauce on top. He suggested maybe we just do appetizers. We had a 8 pm dinner reservation, what the hell would I want to order appetizers and call it day? This waiter was chit chatting with his maitre'd and other wait staff and I felt terribly uncomfortable that i was told I couldn't eat anything from the men, we we all know was ridiculous and not true. We finished our drinks and asked for the check. I made a reservation for Porfirios next door bc I could see they had some gluten free options. Harry's used to be accommodating but no longer. We will not come to Harry's again for food. Not only this, the waiter was trying to once again embarrass us by advising us that we could walk to Porfirios, next door to the restaurant from the back patio. We got up and began walking towards the patio and suddenly I realized he was totally making a fool of us, why would we go from the back if we have to check in with the hostess stand in the front of the restaurant? We walked straight out of Harry's from front door. Never again. So disrespectful and such a rude experience. Not only this, Harry's canceled/ removed our open table reservation (even though we fulfilled it and paid for our drinks and still tipped generously), so I cannot even leave a review and send a private message to the restaurant. Pathetic customer service.
