SPRING BREEEAAAK! This place is always in Mexican tourista areas. This place is just fun. Do you like tequila? Who doesn't?! Mezcal? No problemo! Most of this place is just for booze and taking selfies. There's plenty of cool photo ops here. The service is always laid back, fun, and easy going. Their goal here is to make you have fun and get drunk. Mission accomplished! This place is always clean, safe and fun. I wouldn't go for the food here unless you need something to counter all the tequila. This place isn't known for the cuisine, just the booze. The best feature of this bar is the location. This place is right in between the 7-Eleven and Coco Bongo. This place will give you some of your most memorable moments in Cancun. Fine waitresses that plays games with you. They have sing alongs and dances. They give out free shots (taste like water down apple juice) ewwwww. They specialize in having a party atmosphere and making everyone interact with everyone else. It is a lively time with plenty of fun. I got the frozen pina colada and frozen house margarita. Both tasted great and the yard cone is huge. Beware of brain freeze. Food was decent. I wasn't expecting much out of Senor Frogs but we simply went because we have never been there before. Within walking distance from our AirBnB, Senor Frogs offer familiar food fares to Americans in a foriegn country. Kind like a Hard Rock Cafe where tourists have something familiar to eat. The vibe in this place was actually bumpin very loud and I was kind of worried my toddler would be uncomfortable. Luckily, it seemed she wasn't bothered by the DJ hypin families up. There was also a clown doing balloons. We got some food that my toddler liked such as spaghetti, since she didn't like too tacos too much. But I'm glad we got to have food she's familiar with. My wife and I got rice bowls mixed with pico, chicken/beef, avocado and the works. A healthier option for the night. Senor Frog's is a place for the young crowd during the height of busy season, I can see why. Good for foreigners and I appreciate the stereotype foods Americans want to eat LOL. read more

They try to keep a party atmosphere here. They have a sign saying just that. This is a great spot to stop in to pregame and even just party at night. It's close to many other bars and restaurants so you could walk around until you found what you desire for the night. Our food was served quickly and everything was delicious. read more

I will be honest, when my gf chose this spot, I was not interested. The music was load and it was a chain restaurant. However after being seated and having some food and drinks I quickly warmed up to the party atmosphere. This is an awesome place to have a great nite and the entertainment team is amazing. As for the food. The jalapeños poppers seemed refried. I ate them because I was hungry. Also the queso wasn't as hot as it should have been and the plate didn't stay warm for long so it was pretty inedible after about 10 minutes. My carne asada was amazing. The meat was so tender and flavorful. My gfs chicken Alfredo was also delicious, which i thoroughly enjoyed the following day as leftovers. Highly recommend this spot for a fun night out. read more

I wasn't expecting much from the looks of it but it is located in a very vibrant downtown Cancun area and was very upbeat so we chose it. The music was loud to be expected especially on a Friday night, and they had live performances and guest activities like beer drinking contests. They got the crowd engaged by asking every one to stand on their chair for a free shot! The food was pretty good, I ate it all, and the drinks came in the huge Cancun cup which is a nice token to take home. Our waiter was wonderful and she gave us all name tags, dancing with us through the night. I feel like I experienced enough not to need to go back but it's definitely a place I'm not mad we tried. read more

I seems like every time I come to Cancun I go here and they don't disappoint. They have magicians and dancing that it's a really good time regardless of what time you go. TLDR : Good food, great ambience and really fun! We did not want to go to the busier clubs and ended up at Senor Frog. They had a really fun vibe with songs of the 2000s and even the 90s. So much fun and so yummy! The staff is what makes this place great. They are so nice, so welcoming, and they really want you to have a good time. The food is also really good, and it's served pretty quickly! We had the steak fajitas, esquites, rice, beans, salsa... all so tasty! You also can't help but to dance in your seat because the live DJ makes it a party. It's not super crazy, but it's a good time. Came here recently while visiting Cancun. We had seen several of these in various ports we had visited but had no clue what they were all about. Upon entering it had music playing so loud that I couldn't even talk to my wife. Honestly if we weren't as hungry as we were we would have turned around and left. But we sat down ordered our food and waited. At this point did order some margaritas (We were in Cancun after all ) Seeming out of nowhere comes this young lady blowing a whistle and pounding the table incessantly. She was offering shots and before we had two seconds to think about it she is pouring tequila in two once shooters and all but pouring it down our throats. Then in some weird theatrical routine she goes behind my wife , reaches under her arms and grabs her boobs and jiggles them around. This was not ok and no form of consent was given she comes around to me and lifts the front of my shirt almost off of my body. I let her know this was not okay and that she needed to leave. We proceeded to get our bill and leave. We had no idea what this chain was known for. I saw nothing about this kind of behavior in the reviews.If any part of what I just described is something of interest to you then maybe Senior Frog is for you. As for us never again. read more

This wasn't on our itinerary for our Cancun trip, but it ended up being one of the most fun we've had! We ended up coming to Senor Frogs when the day club next door, Coco Bongo, changed the times of their operation. We ended up having 2 hours to kill. This place is perfect for big parties and celebrations like bachelorette/bachelor and birthdays! They have fun entertainment, like a "twerking" contest, congo line, and even pulled the celebrant of our bachelorette trip up to include her in some not-so-child-friendly entertainment. They had a gentleman making so many different kinds of balloon hats... we had almost 20 ladies and he made different hats for each of us! We went there to mainly drink, so we were able to all split a bottle of tequila, along with "free" shots poured into your mouth. I also tried their nachos which were loaded and very good. So we were already drunk when we wandered into this place and they took full advantage of it! First off yes the vibe is totally inviting, however, girls with paint come around and paint your chest.... Then afterwards tell you it's 20 bucks..... then another guy comes around, his friend slams your head back and he pours watered down liquor down your throat, then they say 20 bucks.... Shout out to our server Javi, who along with the party crew, blasted us out of the cocoon of expectation, into an alternate party universe!!!! Woohooooo! Don't go here if you are still anxious about COVID-19. Super packed and no social distancing. They supported their customers going in a Congo line and providing shots for everyone through the same bottle. The employees barely cleaned the table and did not clean the chairs. However, all employees were wearing masks. Beyond COVID-19 issues, this place is super fun. Every hour or so, they have someone come up on stage and create some entertainment with their customers involved such as a dance or drinking competition. You definitely do not see this in the states. If you have been to other senor frogs you know whats its all about, just a big fun party with lots of games and people watching. This place is always so much fun, we really enjoyed it. They opened this new location from across the street and there used to be a cover now it's free and you just buy drinks. The party center is turning a bit like Vegas and there's charge and vip areas,this is why i like senor frogs, it's a blast and no prentioness just fun and everyday regular people. Sadly after coming to Cancun for 25 years we will never return to SENOR Frogs again. 2 days ago we walked by at 12:30 wanting to go in for lunch but music was so loud we walked right by. Today we decided to try again and music was just as bad from the sidewalk but decided to give it a try as we have had so many fun, great memories at Senor Frogs over the years. Sadly we should have went with our gut and walk out but we didn't. Music was ridiculously loud and DJ was even louder. We couldn't talk at all, yelling our order at the waiter and we just sat staring at the staff throwing paper confetti on peoples food as it was one of their birthday. Their food had just been delivered so full plates of food with paper all over it. Talk about bad, inconsiderate timing. The only saving grace today for us was the margaritas which were awesome but that won't be enough for us to return. Waiter added 20% tip on our bill even before we could say anything. Very pushy. Went here bc we didn't want to fall for the tourist trap at coco bongos. Can't say it was better either. It was so over crowded and packed. I was hesitant about coming here as I suspected it would just be mediocre food and a tourist trap but really wanted to check it out and wow the food was delicious. I got a huge chimichanga and my husband got some mole enchilada and we both cleaned our plate and the portions were huge and reasonably priced.
