A two-person team showed up, one to inspect the home system like plumbing, heating, AC, the roof, etc. and another to inspect the interior. Then they consulted together. Within 24 hours, I had my report and could move forward with the sale. Plus, I have a document I am now using for maintenance purposes. I have had no surprises over the past 10 months and have been spared my past unpleasant experiences with buying a new house. They did a thorough and accurate job. I especially appreciated the interior inspection, as it came with advice that ended up saving me a lot of money on my planned kitchen and office renovations. They were very professional and affordable. My experience with them was in sharp contrast to my prior experience with two past home inspectors (one of whom missed a complete plumbing system breakdown that occurred within a week, and another that cost me a home sale by sending alarmist template language that scared the buyers, away even though the situations noted did not even apply to my property). I will be using Capital Home Inspections from now on. Plus they have a bunch of professional licenses between them for the major systems, which makes me think they know what they are doing. Being first time home buyers, well that just adds to the equation of frustration and ignorance. Not so with these guys. I found them personable and easy to talk to. They didn't mind answering all of my stupid questions....which is good. Trust me, I'm a scientist afterall. We used Trimark as our home inspection company based on a rec from our real estate agent (http://www.yelp.com/biz/amy-shair---remax-real-estate-cary). Her reasoning for favoring them over other guys? They get out and walk on the roof inspecting everything on top. Most other companies will just view the roof with a scope which is prolly fine 90% of the time. I'm glad we took her suggestion esp. with an older home, b/c the inspection revealed several soft spots and problems with the siding, flashing and other roof issues that we were able to use to our renegotiating advantage. Having walked up over and below the roof structure, we had digital photos for a visual record as well. I really believe that some of these issues may not have shown up without a thorough walk on the roof. During the inspection, they'll point out things and show you any major concerns. He even took me up into the attic to view the issues he was concerned with. Besides the detailed inspection process, they were able to easily accomodate us into their schedule the week before Thanksgiving. Having made the inspection on a Friday, they gave us the full report the following Monday without a hitch. Everything is digital - so you get a copy of the report with digital photos in an email. Overall, I was very satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys, much less use them again if needed. 5 whole-hearted stars from me!

My husband and I were incredibly satisfied and impressed by Raleigh Inspection. Jonathan was thorough, efficient and trustworthy. We did a general inspection, radon test, and termite inspection. As first time home buyers, we valued his expertise on a 1980's home we are closing on, which presented some major issues he quickly assessed, all of which we completely overlooked despite walking through the property multiple times.
