Not family friendly -…read more The apartments themselves are beautiful and the grounds is always well kept. My main concern is the lack of concern Forest Meadows has for the culture there. The pool on site is beautiful, and although it should be a safe place to bring your family, it is not. There is zero dress code or concern that there have been several complaints made about someone dressing completely inappropriately. It is actually so bad that when we see a specific resident at the pool, due to how revealing her attire and behavior is, we leave because I don't know my children to be around that. I spoke with Bob, the owner of Forest Meadows about this, and although he assured me he would personally take care of the situation, he has not. It's disappointing that the person in charge doesn't care to protect the safety of his complex and clearly has zero intention to stop people dressing and acting as such.

We have had almost zero complaints, but anytime we did they went above and beyond to help to fix the problem. Maintenance always came same day anytime we needed. Everyone has been nice and professional. Landscaping is always maintained. Everyday you'll see the crew working on making this place beautiful. They also decorate for every season! It's a wonderful touch. The gym is open 24 hours and has very good equipment. As well as FREE workout classes daily. The pool is warm in the summer and big enough for everyone to enjoy even on crowded days. They even kept it open past most pools because it was still warm out! The office is wonderful and knows everyone names even thought we barley ever go in. Mariah always greets me by name and a smile. You get texted notification on packages that arrive in the office which is great too! Rent is easy to pay online. I almost never hear noise from other apartments unless I'm in the hallway which is huge for me with a baby. Thomas is a hardworking extremely friendly and understanding rental property manager. He has taken time twice to sit down and talk with us about moving since we bought a house. He did everything and then some to help us. This is a great place to live I can't say nicer things about here. They also allow animals which we don't have, but I'm glad we had the option if we wanted. For smokers there are cover pavilions with trash cans and benches which is nice. Everyone that lives here is friendly. We have had no issues and would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great FAMILY place to live. Thank you Forest Meadows for being our stepping stone to a new journey.

We had a clean apt and no pets to attract the mice. They would leave pellets in the stove top, oven, countertops, kitchen cabinets...etc. it became a gross environment to cook in. I do want to add that we lived on the ground floor and some maintenance (Frank) was great at coming back to put traps in the apt, initially. When he wasn't available we did not have maintenance coming through as much. Towards the end of our lease my roommate called multiple times to have traps with mice removed and no one came. At a certain point we even had to go purchase our own traps. Anyway here's some pics of dead mice from the apartment. Also, we were never compensated for anything.

I am absolutely disgusted that this place would put me and my children in this type of situation. I am too scared to cook in this disgusting kitchen , Too scared to brush my teeth because I don't know if a roach was on my toothbrush, and too scared to sleep because the thought of roaches crawling on me and my children frightens me. We are also getting bit by something in the apartment and are not sure if it is bed bugs or flees. I am 100% taking legal action if I do not get my deposit and first months rent back. The cleaning company also did not clean under any of the appliances in the kitchen leaving dirt, bugs, and garbage under all of them. If that isn't enough , I had to buy two laundry cards because the first one that I bought did not work. After putting $20 on the laundry card, I used both washers to wash my clothes and when I went to use the two driers, one was not working at all so I used only one. I had to pay 3 times to try to dry my clothes, but the third time I realized that the drier had somehow managed to burn a hole in my brand new bed set and leave the rest of my clothes soaking wet. I am absolutely devastated by this experience and hope that we not only get refunded everything that we have paid, but I hope that nobody else gets put in this situation as well.

I mean who could move in that short period of time, let alone during a pandemic. They know that I'm moving cross country and still weren't courteous enough to give me time to move. I guess they wait until last minute to notify the approval notice so that potential tenant would give up the unit and they could keep the deposit. I asked to talked to a manager but I was told he's in a meeting and he will be calling me back - never did. I read other people's reviews - this place is roach and rat infested, elevator is broken a lot, and poorly run property. Who could move into their unit if the elevator is broken! The $50 parking ticket you receive for parking where you live! If you have a two year old that wants to walk in the grass and play with the leaves come fall time, don't do it here! If you live in the building and attempt to do ANYTHING outside of your unit with a child, expect a member of the board to approach you and tell you, "this isn't a playground". We're not talking about kids playing baseball, if you literally walk with your child on the property WHERE YOU LIVE, they will tell you that you aren't allowed. If you are an adult human being and enjoy living like you're in a prison camp: this is the place for you. The board members patrol the building like prison guards, constantly telling residents what to do, even if it ISN'T in the bylaws. If you want to live a quiet and peaceful life, and you font bother anyone, and you don't want to be bothered: RUN!
