Per my child, most of the students are friendly and from good educational families. We are giving 3 stars for class teachers and their teaching skills. But there are several negatives about this school. Even though all parents knows about it we can't do nothing. We are not able to switch to another school as there are no better options at this location. Negatives: 1. They raise their monthly fees every year but they don't improve any quality to their services. My kid always complains about spider webs in the bathrooms and it's always very dirty. So, he refuses go to bathroom and holds for whole day. 2. No extra curricular activities like sports tournaments like running, soccer, basketball, table tennis or any competitive events for building children's physical and mental strengths. 3. No fun events; students should have singing and dancing, cultural events, talent show, etc. 4. No sports equipments provided to students; they could have provided at least these basic sports equipments: PingPong tables, chess boards, soccer balls, basketballs, volleyballs, etc. So, kids can have fun on recess time or after school time. Kindergarten: Teacher Turner and assistants are always so attentive and helpful. They nurture their minds and teach on The Word every day. You can tell how much they care by how much of their time they give. 1st grade: we had to homeschool due to COVID but I know the teachers did all they could to help all Zoom parents get through the year. 2nd grade: My son started with Teacher Kathy in second grade but now it is teacher Laura and assistant. Both teacher Kathy and Teacher Laura are very caring hard working teachers. 3rd grade: he continued with Sis.Kathy and although it was a rough year for him she was always available to work with us and help him. We also had the blessing to work with Coach Adam summer of 2nd grade and all of 3rd grade. 4th grade is just starting but we know it's going to be an amazing year. They offer after school care for extra charge but they teachers are there until 5pm ish in extended care which can be so helpful on long working days. You can pay for it monthly or daily whichever you choose. School day starts at 8:15am and ends 3:15pm. They use ACE curriculum which I've learned to love. By how she looked at us, I see that we were being judged. A couple weeks goes by and our child is telling us that some of the staffs were talking to her as if she wasn't a human being. She'll come home, tell us about how they would say things that made me uncomfortable. Example: her presence was irritating them. I went up to the school one morning and told all the staffs and including the assistant principal that they better stop talking crazy to my child. Cause at home my children are disciplined. (Yes they get yelled at or talked to for their actions). There's so many times I've had to go up to the school to put these staffs in check. Wrong mama. My child doesn't like confrontations. If she feels like she's being disrespected, she's gonna let me know. There's a female (P.E) staff there that tried to twist my daughter's word when we had set a meeting up. I wanted to know what happened. There was an incident that took place with another student. This staff was a "mediator". As we were in the room, I let my daughter speak, the lady staff tried to interrupt my daughter. I told her to let my child speak. I didn't like the fact that she tried to justify what she told me and then tell my daughter different. What I won't allow is for an adult to interrupt my child when she is advocating for herself while l'm in her presence. There are a few staff that I've grown to like. If I had the chance to pull my child out and do homeschool, I would. We send our children to school to these staff(s) to teach and watch over them. Not for them to treat our children like sh!t. I don't have a problem going up to the school and give them my 2 cents. They need to work better on their attitudes... cause it stinks like sewage water.
