I purchased a couch to replace one that was exacerbating disabilities and was given a specific date for delivery. They obviously had no intention of meeting their own delivery date and when I contacted them about it I was dismissed by not one, but two different salespeople who both told me "DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF". We ordered a new couch set, and it was delivered to our house by Kyle and Mike. They were careful and efficient, and their hard work got the big furniture up our narrow stairs without incident! Shaun was our salesperson and he was very friendly and helpful. Conlins puts the "con" in shopping for furniture. Because I had been scammed by Ashley in the past (shipped me a couch that was not at all as comfortable and well made as the showroom demo model I tried out), I specifically stated that I wanted to purchase the floor model and NOT have one shipped. The salesman guaranteed that I could purchase the demo upon credit approval. However, every time I tried to speak with him I was given some lame excuse for him not being available. This continued. When I spoke to another salesperson, they insulted my intelligence by telling me they had sold the demo earlier that day. It was not sold, I checked over the course of a week. They forced me to accept a couch that was being shipped from the factory even though I had distinctly specified I did not want to do that. See the picture below for the deformed, low quality, uncomfortable piece of junk they unloaded on me. Looks like the cushions were made by 3 different factory workers, and the one on the far left must have been that workers first day. They have a large selection, friendly and knowledgeable me service that is prompt, and the sales people don't breathe down your neck when you are looking around! I think that this store is great for any age whether just starting out young and buying mattresses and furniture or whether you are older and have more experience buying. I bought my sectional for about $6K 3 years ago. I have enjoyed the sectional and bought the 5-year warranty. Being told that if anything breaks, I just need to contact the warranty company, provide pictures, and a receipt and they will get it replaced no questions asked if damage is within 30 days of claim. Well 3 years later, over this past summer the electrical went out of the tables and the recliner support bar fell out the bottom of one of the 3 recliners. I submitted a claim, pictures, receipt, and more pictures when they reached back out (2 weeks later) for more. They then told me I needed to wait around for 24-48 hours to do a tech service call or in house visit (with no smaller time frame available or guaranty on what date that 24-48 hours started). I needed to show them that it is really broken so they can determine if it needs replaced or they can fix it. Mind you this is 5 weeks after I submitted the claim and if not settled in 4 they don't have to honor a fix. I said I tried putting it back together and it is not staying and would like that piece replaced (not the whole thing just that section). I also could not take 2 days off of work to wait around for a 15-minute call or visit, but happy to provide video, more pictures, or whatever to prove the issue. The warranty company said it's our tech or we can't help you. I called management and was rather upset. He said he would figure it out because it was obvious there was no fixing it based on the pictures, and they would probably replace it. 7 weeks later I follow up and management said there was nothing he could do. So now I was scammed out of an $800 warranty package that is useless. I will never recommend Conlins again. They just like to up sell for a better commission. Buyer beware. read more

So, I read the other reviews about Conlin's and I have to say that we got better service than we could expect from any other furniture company. I think they went above & beyond to make sure that we were happy with our purchase. In March we purchased a round dining room table with 4 chairs. The set required some assembly & during assembly, we found that it was scratched &, we thought we were missing some bolts. We called the store & they came and picked up the partly assembled set and brought us a completely assembled table & chairs. On Easter Sunday, we realized that the table was too small for our family. My husband called the store again and explained our predicament to the sales manager. He asked if we could exchange the table & chairs for another one that was for 6 (it had a rectangular table, 4 chairs & a bench). The manager agreed; but, of course charged us more to make up for the difference in price. They delivered on the same day & the delivery crew picked up the original table & chairs & set up the new one. We were more than happy with the service & the way the new set looks in our home. This will work well for our family dinners. Thank you Conlin's for your customer service & willing to work with us. read more

Horrible customer service!!!! Took a man twenty minutes to find a bookshelf online when I gave him the exact ref number. He finally tells us the price for a THREE shelf bookshelf, $850!!!!!! Are you kidding me? Goodbye. Prices are ridiculous!!! And service is horrible. Then my aunt decides to buy a small tin pig and the same guy couldn't couldn't figure out the price and took an extra ten minutes to buy! He also left my aunts card in the debit machine, was this his first day??? Oh that's right it was but nobody came over to help him. Never coming back and I will be sure to pass on the message. Everyone in there all had their noses up in the air and we didn't feel welcome at ALL. How do they sell their expensive furniture with those attitudes and lack of good customer service!!! read more
