She was friendly and answered all of my questions including a price range. She stated they had numerous models available in the store and ready for purchase and pickup. Upon arrival, Andrea showed me the different models; weight restrictions; easy of storage; and brake functions. I picked out a medium weight 'Lifestyle' model in Teal Green. Purchase was simple and easy. And my mother doesn't have to wait another week for her walker.

I called immediately and explained the situation, and was instantly told my lock was not on the bike when I dropped it off and that I was mistaken. Talk about a slap in the face. I trusted that facility and was met with this. I will never return and will share the situation with my fellow riders. I had hoped that they would be a dependable partner in maintaining my bicycle, but that will not be the case. And to be told I don't know my bike is truly condescending. I guess the small amount I spent, $130.00, was good enough for them, that they would forfeit any further purchases. I can buy another lock; that's not a problem. But if considering their services, I would think twice and definitely seek service elsewhere.

I was looking around for a specific pair of boots and I asked Chad if he can assist. Chad was great and very quick in assisting and helping me out. I had inquired about the boots I was interested and he fully explained on how, why, and what. Great man. Then I had inquired on a hat and the specific size I needed. We had walked over the hat section and again, I asked questions and he answered without even stuttering. Awesome dood cuz he sure knows his ish, hehee! Selected my hat, grabbed my boots and made my way to the register. Torie was up front and she was very personable and great to speak to. She rung me up and left I did... with a big ass smile!! He was very knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to check over the rest of the bike to make sure everything else was in good shape. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping customers and making sure the bike is safe and riding properly. Overall, excellent customer service and a really positive experience. I definitely recommend this shop and truly appreciate Erick's help!

I would not recommend this shop for a flat-tire repair…read more I dropped my bike off Thursday at 1:00 PM for a flat-tire repair and didn't get it back until around 3:30 PM the following day. Unfortunately, when I got home and started riding, it took less than a minute for the rear tire and chain to become loose. The tire was rubbing against the frame, making the bike unsafe to ride. While I was in the shop waiting to pay, I also overheard the employees discussing another customer who apparently had arrived to pick up their bike before being notified that the bike was ready. The way the mechanic spoke about the situation came across as unnecessarily rude and dismissive. Reminding the customer who was probably waiting as long or longer than I was for their bike back but the way it was being discussed sounded very rude to discuss in front of another customer. I understand that repairs can take time, but waiting more than 24 hours for a basic flat-tire repair only to have the bike come back with a loose tire and chain was extremely disappointing. I did not contact the shop afterward to complain. Instead, I decided to take my bike elsewhere and share my experience here. There are plenty of bike shops in the Austin area that seem to understand how important it is for riders to get their bikes back safely and promptly. If you're in Round Rock or the surrounding area, I would recommend going elsewhere rather than choosing this shop simply because it's nearby.

I had already been a customer for a year, paid every bill on time, paid a deposit at the very beginning of my account with them although my credit was GOOD. Not fair, not poor, GOOD, and still got a nonsense explanation that made it clear they either don't value repeat customers or don't know how to apply their own policies consistently. I walked away and found another company (Blackerby) with far better service, better rates, a $125 deposit, and no credit check. The difference was night and day. This company's deposit policy feels arbitrary, their pricing is excessive, and their treatment of customers is flat-out poor. I would not recommend them to anyone. By the way I paid for an entire year of rental upfront with the other company and still paid less than the $600 deposit fee that Strait Music tried to play in my face with.
