I spent $5,000 on hearing aids and ever time I need to change the filter in my hearing aids it won't allow me I go in and there is just a old couple sitting in there. It took them less then two minutes both time never did they tell me before make appointment. First issue is why does $5,000 hearing aids won't change filters? Being snapping with me after I took off work early and drove 38 miles and was diss missed like I was nothing but a problem. I guess after they get your $5,000 not important. My advice is find some where else. read more

i can never get anyone by phone. my hearing aids do not work. I took everything into the office, which included the cord, and left them to be looked at. I got a call the next day that they were ready for pick up. I go in and a receptionist that I have not seen before, informs me that my hearing aids were never dropped off there. I informed her that they were and I got a call to pick them up. she goes to the office to look for them and again tells me they are not there. she then asks for my name, again, looks me up on the computer and goes to the office again. this time she finds my hearing aids but not the cord. I tell her I need the cord and she tells me they never received the cord. just like they never received the hearing aids. I'm so fed up with this place. I will never go back. read more

People are nice just never on time. I've yet to arrive for an 8am appt and have anyone even in the office yet. I'm trying to mitigate my time away from my job and they don't even show up on time. It's bad. So I lose more of my income because they can't be on time. I find it irritating read more

I had a great experience here, I was diagnosed with genetic hearing loss over 8 years ago and was given a hearing tube to help but that did not work and my hearing loss has only progressed. I am worried to be in public places, but was reassured by the level of cleanliness and seeing that no patients are not sitting in the waiting room. Gregory is very kind and had my hearing aids in the office within a week after ordering them, he taught me how to care for them (cleaning, battery changing etc) and program them so that I do not walk around squeaking and he connected it to bluetooth for me. YES BLUETOOTH, I no longer have to use my headphones to listen to podcast or music, I can also press a button on the hearing aid to answer phone calls. I was worried about getting hearing aids and how bulky they seem to be, well modern times have them being small and very unnoticeable. I was overall pleased with the service and care here. I have IEHP at the moment because of not working much due to covid, I was not treated poorly at all. I told my PCP who referred me here at the quality of care and how happy I was with the office along with my mother who has a hearing aid. read more

We had a long wait for a hearing aid then they told me that I was not allowed to bring more than 1 person with me. I asked if they wanted everyone else to wait outside. Not our fault they don't have enough seats. They said, "we don't mean to be rude." Not sure if that makes it better. read more

Tried to drop off one of my hearing aids that was not working (for the second time) and was scolded by the receptionist for not having an appointment. Claimed they could not have "walk-ins" coming in all at the same time (there was one person in the waiting room) or the technician not being there (that is their problem, not mine) so they lost a customer today. I have no problem with anyone but the receptionist. The last time I was there with an appointment, there was no one at the reception desk - I waited for 15 minutes and finally had to walk back to Carrie's office to let them know I was there. The receptionist's purse was left in plain view near the desk - not smart! I will look for another provider when I need to get replacement hearing aids - all due to the treatment at the front desk. Horrible place. Kept me waiting and then told me I was 10 minutes late. Liz was exceptionally rude, arrogant and yelled at me telling me I was late in the waiting room. I would stay clear away from this place. That's not how you should treat anyone let alone in a healthcare setting. Plenty of other places to get your hearing checked. This is not the place to go to if you want to be treated respectfully and kind. read more

I was referred to Connect Hearing by my primary Doctor. My first initial was meeting with Carrie, she knows some ASL. I had no problem understanding her. I have a hearing loss range between moderate to severe. I was due for a new hearing aid though. She made recommendations of a certain brand of hearing aids that fits my limited hearing. She was very thorough and make sure that my new hearing aids suited my limited hearing. I am satisfied and will go back for a follow-up soon. read more

I live in Illinois and winter in Southern California. This year my wife became ill and we had to extend our stay. I had forgotten my hearing aid supplies and one hearing aid quit. I called Connect and they invited me right in. Lewis fixed it in a few minutes and did not charge. This week, both hearing aids were plugged and I was nearly deaf. I called again, and Lewis once more said "Come on in", and once again he had them both operating perfectly within a few minutes. They are wonderful people, and Lewis knows his stuff. It took a long time and numerous visits to get my hearing aids, but when I finally did, they were fully covered by my insurance, even though the benefit was less! I don't know how they accomplished this, but it was appreciated. There is plenty of free parking. They open at 8:00 a.m. They have state of the art hearing tests and equipment. There is free coffee. They provide free hearing aid batteries. There was considerable hassle in getting the hearing aids and service was lacking in some areas, but overall it was worth the effort. I will probably go there again when I am eligible for new aids. read more

Really great experience here with my hearing impaired daughter. My daughter is also autistic and her behavior and social interactions are unconventional. She was also extremely nervous about the test. Anthony was extraordinary in working with her and everyone in the office was very kind to her and helped put her at ease. We left with the results of the complete test in hand, information about solutions to her hearing issues and a daughter who was having such a good time she didn't want to leave. read more

I've had my hearing tested a couple of times and been told each time that I had hearing loss. In the past, I wasn't ready to bring myself to terms with wearing hearing aids. I've finally gotten to the point that I'm ready for help. I was really looking forward to this appointment and to being able to hear clearly. In the end, the guy told me that I have very minimal hearing loss and didn't need anything. Weird that any other provider has told me I have bilateral hearing loss and that it is worse on the right side, nevermind the fact that it sounds like I have cotton in my ears all the time. My tinnitus is amazingly loud 24/7 and I'm constantly asking people to repeat themselves. Oh well. I'll be looking for a second opinion because I'm looking forward to not needing to struggle to hear. read more

Being hearing impaired all my life & wearing hearing aids for the past 30 years, (7 different sets) this has got to be the worst hearing aid dispenser I've been to. I was ensured that the facility 45 minutes from my house vs the one a mile from my house had a licensed audiologist - wrong. Wasted 2 hours of my time & 2 gallons of gas for nothing. The rude lady gave me a cheapo "free" hearing test that she wasn't even capable of completing, furthermore it was done in her office and not in a sound proof booth. I was told I would have to go somewhere else for a complete test, yet no recommendations were given. I instructed my health insurance co. not to pay for this sham. When I asked if they sold particular top of the line brand's of hearing aids she became even more irritable. The whole process took 10 minutes from check in to out the door. Not the kind of service you should be getting when you're looking to spend over $5,000 for new hearing aids. Apparently they are a large chain that sells hearing aids & didn't like it that a somewhat knowledgeable person in hearing aids was asking questions. read more
