I got my wisdom tooth taken out on October 18 yesterday and everything went out perfectly fine. I wasn't bloated and it almost look like I didn't get my teeth taken out because everything was done the right way. Dr. Maguire was my surgeon and he was terrific. I am scared when it comes to needles but he made it painless and quick! I got prescribed pain meds right away and now I can move and talk just fine! Best dental place to get your wisdom tooth taken out, I would recommend to anyone. Only problem is they are a little pricey but they do a good job

Right from day one I knew we were in good hands with all the staff. They were kind and helpful. I have never felt pressured making a decision when given a recommended treatment plan. Located and easy to find; the medical plaza has a plethora of medical offices with a variety of specialities. Made me smile as I walked in as there is a Oral surgeon here that helped make my sister's experience with her wisdom teeth a little more hilarious. Anyways the office is spacious with a small frames space to check out some new designs. My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of working with Karen at the front as she was pleasant and worked with us as we didn't really have the best understanding of our coverage. While the forms were sent to us, my boyfriend had missed a sheet and quickly filled it out. Our 3pm apt was pretty on point as I was working with Jen a 19 year veteran to the facility. She was polite, professional and patient while I asked odd questions about my contacts and the place of business. Standard procedure with reading letters on the wall, machines to measure my detoriating eye sight and dilation to finish it off. Everything was quick and we were sitting with Dr. Sparks in no time. Nothing too serious lucky for me and we were moving on to see Denise who scheduled me for my contact fitting and follow up. They have locations in Windsor and Bloomfield which is nice and easy for me to get to from work so win win. All in all I had a great experience. My waiting…read moretime altogether was 45 minutes, time spent with doctor's assistant Natalie was about 10 minutes, time spent with doctor himself - about 3 minutes. Very poorly organized office, very bad "waiting time"/"service time" ratio, very skillless reception manners. Natalie was perfect! She was highly professional, very sufficient and very pleasant. I can't stop praising her! Doctor was... just nothing. Natalie made all measurements and tests. My prescription was done by her in 10 minutes! But then I had to wait for Mr. Pasternack for awfully long time just to sign this prescription. Such a time wasting. Very bad service!

They said it would be better in the long run for me and would alleviate "future issues". They also said it would be best to take them out all at once and kill multiple birds with one stone. So I did so, spent about $800+ out of pocket. My very good & stable insurance carrier (rare these days) paid the rest. Since this time, I have had intense TMJD, locking jaw, shooting pains, acid reflux and I have not eaten meat in many years, as I can't chew it. I have been referred to orthodontists and physical therapists who each suggested splints and physical therapy. After being discouraged I have paid out of pocket for a number of physicians, maxillofacial professionals and orthodontists, none of which have helped but all who seemed to want me to return. None seemed focused on addressing my TMJD, nor treating any pain. Finally, after spending close to 4k out of pocket I have located a maxillofacial surgeon and an orthodontist who have begun to undo the errors made. I would not recommend CTMAX to anyone. I would get multiple opinions before ever getting wisdom teeth removed.

Of course it was a big fat needle and there was no getting around that, but Dr. Nghiem is very gentle and caring and he knows what he's doing: a true professional During the procedure he observed me intently during every step of the procedure so as to make sure to stop if he notices me flinch in pain. I felt so safe and relaxed. Also, I never felt the drill. There is nothing whatsoever to fear in his chair. I often feel that dentists don't take enough time to make sure I'm not feeling anything, but Dr. Nghiem stopped so often to check on me, it almost felt coddling! I felt so cared for and I can say that even more confidently considering I was having him finish the job of another dentist that 1) couldn't get me numb and 2) didn't care whether I was numb and seemed annoyed with me for not getting numb. Well, it's been 2+ years now since getting my two front teeth crowned and they look as beautiful and feel as great as ever. Not one time have I felt like someone was looking at me, questioning whether or not my teeth are real. Nor have experienced any pain, chipping or issues whatsoever. I will update this review as the years go on, but so far so perfect!! Now here's the REAL proof of Dr. Nghiem's expertise as a cosmetic dentist: I am currently dating a girl I was previously friends with for 6 months. I didn't tell her my two front teeth were fake until well after we started dating (8 months after meeting her!). She had no idea. I almost think they look better than my real teeth would. The cosmetic dental technology they have these days is miraculous and Dr. Nghiem is a master with it. Highly recommended !

I have…read morecompleted a year of extensive dental work and can say that all the procedures were explained, my opinion weighed in making decisions, all procedures went as expected, I experienced almost no pain and am totally delighted with the results. To be clear I had extractions, a bone graft, bridges and crowns , multiple cleanings and an implant. The staff is helpful, pleasant and efficient. I received reminders so that I never missed an appointment and did not wait long once in the office for my time in the chair to begin. While needing major dental work is not a good position to be in, this team makes the experience as pleasant as possible. I can only say this dental experience was the best ever in my 80 years.
