This is not the norm at a specialty office, ever! I arrived earlier to fill out all that wonderful new patient paperwork. I didn't wait more than a few minutes. Another surprise! I was triaged and then had X-rays taken. The X-ray tech was super sweet! I waited a few minutes maybe 2, for doctor to come in. What?!? Am I in the twilight zone? Dr. Curry was so helpful, she shared, no stress fractures...yay!! She referred me to a physical therapist for threading. She said I was ok to run and the therapy appointment would provide some much needed relief. So happy I get to register for the mini! And she wants to see me at the finish line!! She also provided a training book for mini marathons as well!

This facility used to be Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital. Though, in early December 2024, it was…read morebought by PAM rehab and then renamed after the company. There is another location south of here in Clarksfield, Indiana, but this is the North location. This facility is deemed an acute one which takes patients who have had a stroke or a traumatic brain injury and rehabilitates them until they are maybe at least able to feed themselves and possibly walk. My primary care physician recommended this location for my mother, who had a stroke around Thanksgiving and spent three weeks in the hospital. Before the stroke, she was very active, independent and could care for herself. After the stroke, she needed to have some rehabilitation and therapy before coming home. Other facilities wanted to throw my mom away into long-term care and not really give her a chance or opportunity to attempt to rehab herself. The intake agent for PAM Health was NOT like that and she said the staff at the facilities do not have that attitude either. She took care of everything that facilitated my mom being transported from the hospital to the rehab location. Everyone who was associated with the care of my mother was amazing. They were caring, empathetic, and patient with her needs, but also challenging with her therapy when needed. In addition, they were communicative with me in terms of identifying her needs challenges, diagnosis and prognosis. I really appreciate their candidness and empathetic nature. I would not have been able to endure this whole process without them. If any other traumatic things happen to me or any of my family members, I would definitely try to get them into this facility.

Back in the spring of 2022, my wife spent 12 days in in-patient rehab at PAM after being severely…read moreinjured in a car accident caused by a reckless driver. The facility was absolutely spotless and the staff was engaged, attentive, committed, and caring. It was a great experience for my wife at a time when she really needed it, and I knew during her stay there that I could rest assured that she was getting the best possible care. We were offered the option of Frazier or PAM, and we would have been on a waiting list for Frazier. So glad we were "forced" to go with PAM!

They are so organized, giving you a book of things to do before surgery and what to do after surgery. Dr Clegg takes time to talk to you, and listens! I finished the last one yesterday morning and have had zero pain after these strenuous hikes. My longest was 3 miles. I couldn't not have done this without Dr Clegg and his wonderful team. He also gave me pre-surgery exercises and post surgical exercises that are a must for success. I am now on a kneeling program which is going great and plan on paddle boarding by next weekend. I am so very thankful my friend referred me to Dr Clegg. Anyone who complains about their knee pain I tell them of Dr Clegg and what a phenomenal experience I had. I had a partial knee replacement done 7 years ago by another doctor and it popped out of place constantly and I just thought I would have to live with it the rest of my life. The doctor said I didn't have any symptoms when I was young. I wouldn't need allergy testing. Wrong. This doctor did a knee replacement on me from the first month I had problems. He did not listen to any of my complaints. I had shooting pains like firecrackers going down my leg. For the first year. I called practically every week saying that there was something wrong. I went to see another Doctor Who knew right away that it was something wrong and he did allergy testing. He said I was allergic to the material that was placed in me. Within two weeks, it was taken out. But since it was in me so long, it damaged my nerves in my leg. I know he his rates one of the best, but is he if he wouldn't listen to the patient afterwards. All this pain could have been avoided. I drink.am on nerve medicine fore the nerves in my lower part of my body because of the wrong parts being inside me so long.

No call came.the next morning I called the office and was told they were trying to find someone to fix my cast and would call back. No call..I went to immediate care and it took them a hour to get a response from the office. They sent me to the office where the girl that cut the cast had been all day. Went for my follow up appointment only to be told it had been cancelled the day before I even became a patient and two days before my surgery!!! They don't care about patients.

Louisville Bone & Joint Specialists, PSC is a conveniently located orthopedic office on the first…read morefloor of the 4001 Kresge Way building directly across from Baptist Hospital. I think there are at least eight doctors that are in this practice with a variety of orthopedic specialties. Additionally there's an excellent group of x-ray technicians that very capably take your needed x-rays at the time of your doctor appointment. They are instantly ready to be viewed by your doctor. The patient alone is escorted in for x-rays and then returned to the waiting room for anyone that may be accompanying you to your doctor appointment. There are a variety of chairs in the waiting room including some tall seats to make all patients comfortable while waiting for your appointment. The front office staff are quite efficient and if you do the pre-registration on your cell phone prior to your appointment you will only have one page to sign. You may be caught off guard when you walk in and see so many patients waiting but don't panic. There is more than one doctor seeing them all and some are there just to get an injection that doesn't take much of the doctor's time. I can't exclaim enough with how happy I am with this practice and specifically with my physician Dr. Reid Brown. If you need a Knee Replacement, Hip Replacement or Pelvic surgery he is the one to see! Five stars all the way from start to finish when other doctor's did not think there was an option for my condition.
