I've been a patient here for over a year and just discovered I never wrote a review. How can that…read morebe for such a five star experience! I was referred by a spine surgeon that knew surgery was not an option for me. The doctor that had ordered an MRI of my back said I should NEVER consider spine surgery. When I first arrived at this practice over a year ago the PA Shaun Nicole Wright had reviewed my MRI. After an exam she determined I was definitely a candidate for a spinal injection. Since I have numerous issues with my back she let me choose which area was of highest priority to me for treatment. She warned me that whatever I chose would be the only injection for at least three months. When I indicated lower spine she was a little surprised but then on manual pressure examination she agreed. At the end of the first visit I stopped at the office for surgical scheduling for an SI Injection. After the 1st injection I am sold and have recommended to others to skip major surgery and consider cortisone injections. In the past year I have remained in the kind care of PA Shaun Wright. She herself is fabulous, thorough, and well informed. Last November when I needed a repeat of the SI injection she knew the surgeon was going on maternity leave. While I sat in the exam room she reached out first hand to the surgeon to see if I could be squeaked in. The surgeon, Dr Bauer agreed to do my injection in the office the following week since space in the Surgical Center was not available. Not many doctors would be thar accommodating. I have remained a loyal patient since the beginning and go every three months for reevaluation. The injections are so successful that I can go much longer than the three month required interval. Thanks for a true FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE !

Can't get anything scheduled-- no one ever calls you back. I play the game I was told to play -- go in every 3 months to make it easy to get me scheduled for when I do need an epidural-- what a joke -- they called me last week to finally schedule an epidural I was supposed to get in November-- never happened. Then I got diagnosed with endometrial cancer/ had surgery before they even got back to me about scheduling epidural. Told them I can't drive now ( 1 week post op) and don't want epidural right now while recovering but could I get a refill on gabapentin due to back pain with no epidural. Wouldn't do it-- since I haven't had a refill in 3 yrs. I often go mths without taking it --but I have to come in for a drug test --be seen-- again. Just saw me 6 wks ago. Then Kate told me to just ask another doctor to send-- maybe my PCP. Wow-- i guess since I figured it was a pain management prescription that id call pain management first. Well-- after 2 weeks of trying to get them to return my calls about the refill (office finally called this am to say no) I decided to take kates advice and call PCP. Even though hasn't seen me in 6 MONTHS he was willing to send. So I have to think that there are better pain management practices out there. Doesn't matter how good your providers are if the practice is this poorly run. I know I need to start looking around--

I could have sung the praises of Dr Brown through the years but I wanted to wait until I actually experienced his expertise in Total Knee Replacement surgery. I have needed knee replacement surgery for years but for a variety of reasons the timing was never right. Thirty years ago when I lived in California the problem the doctor identified was I was just TOO young to be a candidate for surgery. Twenty-five years ago after moving to the Louisville KY area I got started at a different orthopedic doctor's office and was told that other than knee injections there was no other option due to metal allergies that included titanium , cobalt and nickel. Injections in my knees were useless as the first day it increased the pain, the second and third day after were great, and then it was back to my original condition. Ten years ago a Physical Therapist I was being treated by mentioned Dr Brown as he had performed knee replacement surgery on the Therapist's mother. My first appointment with Dr Brown I was sold that I finally had found the correct professional. Upon arriving for my appointment a full set of x-rays on both knees were taken. Dr Brown needed no time in evaluating the x-rays and exclaimed I needed knee surgery for years. Yep, I knew that but thought I was going to lower the boom when I told him of my metal allergies. No, he had the answer. He exited the exam room and re-entered with an actual knee replacement kit (not even a sample but the actual surgical kit). Dr Brown explained that the joint would be made of Zirconium and the replacement bone could be made of polypropylene (layman's term = plastic). Great news! To proceed Dr Brown wanted additional allergy testing that was different than the standard patch testing. This allergy testing used blood to do a blood antigen test on everything that would be used during surgery such as specific cement, etc. While waiting for the results I promised Dr Brown I would work on losing some weight as it would be helpful in the overall surgery process. I also agreed to work on warm water physical therapy to be in the best condition possible for surgery and recovery. Based on my knee conditions Dr Brown wanted to replace the right knee first. Fast forward several years and my left knee was in HORRIBLE condition and I couldn't stand on the left knee/leg at all. Unfortunately that emergency appointment was with Dr Brown's APRN Craig. Oops, Craig found an additional problem and called Dr Brown in for a consult. No surgery could not happen. Dr Brown explained that with a pulse of 32 he couldn't do surgery. He instructed me to work with my Cardiologist to get a pace maker and then he would consider Knee Replacement Surgery. This review will not go into all the trials and tribulations of getting a pacemaker other than to say it took YEARS! In the meantime I made another appointment with Dr Brown because I thought I was having right hip problems. Dr Brown was so on top of things he immediately could say the problem is not your hip but appears to be a back problem. He ordered an MRI that confirmed exactly what he thought. From that information he said DO NOT CONSIDER BACK SURGERY but referred me to pain management. Finally back to June 2025. I had left Total Knee Replacement by Dr Brown. He requires all patients take a webinar class prior to surgery so you know exactly what to expect. In my final appointment with him prior to surgery he warned me I was in End Stage Osteoarthritis and that the surgery was not going to be a breeze. Together understanding the condition, the allergies, etc. he would do his best to avoid problems. I had total faith in him and experienced fantastic surgery and outcome. If you need an excellent orthopedic doctor for knee replacement or hip replacement Dr Brown is my recommendation!

I think there are at least eight doctors that are in this practice with a variety of orthopedic specialties. Additionally there's an excellent group of x-ray technicians that very capably take your needed x-rays at the time of your doctor appointment. They are instantly ready to be viewed by your doctor. The patient alone is escorted in for x-rays and then returned to the waiting room for anyone that may be accompanying you to your doctor appointment. There are a variety of chairs in the waiting room including some tall seats to make all patients comfortable while waiting for your appointment. The front office staff are quite efficient and if you do the pre-registration on your cell phone prior to your appointment you will only have one page to sign. You may be caught off guard when you walk in and see so many patients waiting but don't panic. There is more than one doctor seeing them all and some are there just to get an injection that doesn't take much of the doctor's time. I can't exclaim enough with how happy I am with this practice and specifically with my physician Dr. Reid Brown. If you need a Knee Replacement, Hip Replacement or Pelvic surgery he is the one to see! Five stars all the way from start to finish when other doctor's did not think there was an option for my condition.

I did multiple tours overseas for the United States military which I have had so many reconstructive surgeries and also a work related incident that I fell over 30 feet and had to have yet another surgery I received a dismissal letter when I returned from out of state for work stating he's not going to help me and I am not a patient anymore I did not receive a phone call. I did not receive any type of text no email no verbal warning no written warning no counseling nothing I notified his office of my absence for work due to the severe weather like tornadoes, flooding that we had in the months of march and April I even spoke with him in person when I saw him at my last appointment passing in the hallway and lamborn replied, just notify the office and you will be fine I have spoke with other patients in the waiting room and they have missed upwards of 5 to 6 random drug appointments and still are patience I have talked to people that have failed multiple drug tests and still are patient He is still treating. I have not failed a drug test or had any illegal substance in my system. He also falsely accuse me of running out of medicine early on the notice I received when I had to have oral surgery and he increased my dosage which In turn makes you run out sooner He clearly does not care about his patience. He clearly has no empathy no respect and breaks his own policy whenever it suits him I received a phone call from Nathan manager Ashley stating that they did reach out to me Via text and left me a voicemail which I never received due to the area I was in a tornado went through powerlines were down and cell towers were down For some reason, they cannot fathom this I always thought that doctors And nurses were patient advocates and actually had an understanding when their patient was helping the community Recover from such a tragic event Also speaking with Ashley the manager, she stated verbally that I was dismissed for failing a urine screen test Which I received a dismissal letter stating otherwise. So, it appears that she lied in order to cover their mistake. It sounds like to me The Office is Playing favorites and picking and choosing Who stays and who goes I have never been so disrespected in my life and treated like trash These are supposed to be the People that are helping me. I've dedicated 10+ years Keeping this country safe sacrificing my freedom and my body and also 5+ years keeping our community safe. After I posted my review A courtesy refill of a similar medication was sent to my pharmacy and that's when Ashley contacted me These medical professionals have left a horrible taste in my mouth from the lying, the deceptive behavior the manipulation of words and Not taking any ownership for their mistake The difference is if I did receive those messages that they supposedly sent, I wouldn't be writing my review for being wrongfully dismissed and terminated from this practice In closing the people that he is dismissed, negligently read the reviews and the bad reviews. A lot of them stated there has been so much communication problems, wrongful discharges, people older than me and younger than me there seems to be a common denominator in all of these reviews 5/13/25 Furthermore, I received a very threatening Angry text message from ASHLEY AlEXANDER the manager stating that I was Harassing when all I did was ask for my records and pointed out that I was right from a review that was left I will be reporting Nathan Lamborne, as well as Ashley Alexander to the BBB as well as writing a formal complaint grievance to the Kentucky medical board composed the lies the accusations and the wrongful dismissal of myself self and many others suffered from their malpractice and the lack of patient care they made a mistake and now I'm paying for it
