Due to scheduling Dr. Wangjian Zhong had one open appointment before the surgery, so we asked for an appointment with him instead. He is a great oncologist! My friend that goes here also has great reviews for the Drs she has seen at this location. The front desk and nurses are as professional in person as they are over the phone. Dr. Wangjian Zhong takes the time to go over your diagnosis and treatment. He doesn't only treat the patient respectfully, but also me as a caregiver. You never feel rushed by the nurses and Dr here. You leave with all your questions answered and an understanding of treatment. This location has a connection with Baptist, but I have not had any issues with this Dr's office working with other Drs not connected to Baptist. They have worked great with my family member's UofL Dr. I would definitely recommend Dr. Wangjian Zhong and Baptist CBC Oncologist office.

What? It's cholesterol meds, not a controlled substance. I said to her nurse/office staff "So let me get this straight...my doc ditches me with no notice, then you send me to this doc and she says she won't give me a refill that my doc that left me prescribed because HER SCHEDULE is too booked to see me in time?" She replied "Yes". I said don't worry, cancel it. I'm done with location and cancelling with my gyno who is part of this practice too because of this. Shawna Kauffman doesn't care about my health. I don't see why she'd care for yours. This location has been a hassle to deal with since day one. These doctors and their egos - they're going to seriously hurt someone here. I'm so sick of lazy docs that think they're all that. Oh, btw, no one has figured out why I lost almost 50 pounds now (with other health issues). So you think I would be a priority. But no. I had to call them twice to remind them that I had limited use of my arm, and was still in pain. By closing time they finally called me back and made appointment in a few days. The staff is friendly but when you walk out the door, they have no idea or empathy for your problems.
