This large well seasoned pork chop had a large side of Red Beans and Rice, and a little salad and a piece of yummy cornbread. The inside of the restaurant had about 10 tables with quaint atmosphere. I waited almost 30 mins before that same employee realized that my food had been sitting on their counter the entire time. Basically, my order was already ready for pickup when I first arrived, bagged and getting cold; but no one ever cared to check! The employee casually handed me my food. Naturally, I inquired why I was made to wait so long. In response, I got ALL the ATTITUDE in the world from both the employee and the manager on duty. They were completely dismissive, provided horrible service, and were overall rude people. They did not care one bit about what I was trying to say. Sadly, all this happened near a table with young kids listening in. As much as I love Waffle House, I will NEVER EVER go back to 1922 W Airline Hwy in LaPlace, LA. Honestly, it's not about the unnecessarily long wait, it's not about the $30 meal or the $5 tip...it's the principle.
