I needed a pet sitter for my cats, and I found Margie on Yelp. I was really nervous to call someone I didn't know to come to my home while I was away. Margie came over for a consultation, and I realized what a gem she is. Margie has done such a wonderful job caring for my pets. She is genuine and loving towards them. She has a genuine love for animals. I have formed a friendship with her, and I've seen her care for her own pets. She is an amazingly loving pet mama.

It was a very difficult situation as we've viewed Spike as family, but sometimes the behavior becomes unpredictable with age. We really wanted to do this humanely and it was a very uncomfortable situation for us as owners but this hospital made the experience as comfortable and supportive as they could for us and Spike. They have a separate room that was very clean and felt safe, they let us spend as much time as we needed which ended up being a few hours and they were completely okay with letting us say our goodbyes. The procedure was difficult but he went as painless as possible and with me there till his last breath. They even gave me 2 keepsakes of his fur because we couldn't afford the ashes. After nearly 18 years of bringing my pets here, I am DONE giving this place my business. Eighteen…read moreyears of loyalty apparently means absolutely nothing when you actually need them. Getting an appointment when your pet is sick is nearly impossible, and if you try to walk in, be prepared to wait three hours or more. Meanwhile, their prices keep going UP while the quality of service keeps going DOWN. My dog has been sick for over a month, and I have had to bring her in FOUR TIMES during that period. Why? Their machines break, tests have to be done again, their systems go down for days, and then when lab results are finally available, apparently no one can be bothered to actually call you with them. I have literally been waiting for results while being told the doctor isn't in. I've specifically asked for another doctor to review the available lab results and call me back, and still--nothing. When your pet is sick, waiting days for someone to simply communicate test results is completely unacceptable. And good luck trying to get someone on the phone. I've sat there for more than 10 minutes listening to the phone ring and ring without anyone answering. How is that acceptable for a veterinary hospital dealing with sick animals and worried pet owners? After 18 years, I've watched this place go from somewhere I trusted with my pets to somewhere I no longer have confidence in. Higher prices, ridiculous wait times, broken equipment, poor communication, and declining service. They've made it very clear that my loyalty doesn't matter. That's fine. They won't be getting another dollar of mine. I just downgraded them even more from 2 stars to 1 star after finding an amazing new vet (Lakewood Pet Vet), and them diagnosing my dog with various issues. This is my review of Lakewood Pet Vet that proves WBAH is a terrible place now. After nearly 18 years of taking my dogs to another veterinary hospital, I finally reached my limit with the declining level of service and decided to seek a second opinion for my dog, who had been sick for over a month with no answers. I am so glad I found Lakewood Pet Vet. From beginning to end, the experience was completely different. They were able to get two of my dogs in for appointments the very next day, and the level of care, attention, and compassion we received was outstanding. Amanda at the front desk was sweet, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. Sylvia, who handled their intake and vitals, was equally kind and caring and took the time to be very detailed. Dr. Dang was wonderful--thorough, knowledgeable, gentle, and tender with my dogs. What really blew me away was that Dr. Dang's initial diagnosis was right on target even before all of the lab results came back. She immediately began treating my dog for a deep ear infection, a UTI, and both yeast and bacterial infections on her paws. After FOUR visits to our longtime vet in ONE MONTH and repeatedly being told they couldn't find anything wrong, finding out that my dog actually had several issues requiring treatment was astonishing and incredibly upsetting. The follow-up care has been just as impressive. I received a call that same evening to check on how my dogs were doing. Dr. Kai, who was on duty, also called to personally go over the test results and check on them. Then, to my surprise, Amanda called again later that afternoon to follow up. When I told her one of my dogs was still showing signs of distress, she immediately relayed that information to the veterinarian on call, who later contacted me with additional recommendations. This is what veterinary care should feel like. Lakewood Pet Vet has truly exceeded my expectations. My dogs are still ill, and it's only been two days since treatment began, so we're not out of the woods yet. But after spending more than a month searching for answers, simply knowing that their problems have finally been identified and are actually being treated has given me tremendous peace of mind. For the first time in weeks, I feel hopeful that we're moving in the right direction. Crossing my fingers that my babies continue to improve! Thank you to Amanda, Sylvia, Dr. Dang, Dr. Kai, and everyone at Lakewood Pet Vet for making us feel like my dogs' health genuinely matters.

She's settled back into our household beautifully, and her training has been going incredibly well. We practice her commands every day, and she's noticeably calmer, more responsive, and an absolute joy to take on walks. Overall, the time she spent away was well worth it. She came home with a solid foundation, and we've gained the knowledge and tools to continue reinforcing her training. We'll definitely be sending her back for boarding and refresher training while we're abroad later this year because we couldn't trust Juan and his team more. Juan has also been excellent with communication, always taking the time to answer our questions and provide guidance. We highly recommend him and his team to anyone looking for quality dog training.

From day one, Juan provided exceptional customer service. He was never pushy, took the time to explain the training process, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and was always easy to reach whenever I needed him. I ultimately chose the 5-week off-leash obedience program. As difficult as it was to leave my puppy for that long, it was absolutely worth it. My dog came home calmer, more confident, and with a much better understanding of commands such as stay, down, place, come, yes, and no. She listens significantly better and is clearly more focused and well-mannered. Oh and let me not forgot to mention she is now crate trained and potty trained. She now sleeps comfortably in her crate and understands that potty time happens outside. The facility itself is beautiful, private, and extremely clean. I also want to give a special shoutout to Dom for the incredible care and dedication he showed my dog during her stay. If you're considering professional training for your dog, I highly recommend reaching out to Juan and his team. The investment was one of the best decisions I've made for my dog. and I'm so grateful for the foundation they've helped build for her future.

We knew our situation would require a special type of professional Trainer. One who could take on and handle two puppies at once... two puppies who are full of energy! We also knew that we didn't want them boarded and that we wanted their training to be on a daily basis. Because of my age and my balance issues, it would have been impossible for me to be transporting these active (unleash trained) girls daily. We needed a Trainer who could be flexible and would be willing to come to our house and handle training our two pups on a daily basis. The Trainer would not only have to teach them commands together, leash walking together, but also car seat and riding in the car manners. This wasn't going to be an easy task and it would mean that this Trainer would have to be willing to sacrifice their own needs in order to accommodate our needs. We needed a Trainer who wouldn't shy away from a challenging job. We found everything we could ask for and needed in the owner of Koda's Training company... Liliana (Lily) Aguilar! Lily obviously takes great pride in her job and her company. Lily is a confident dog Trainer! Lily was very accommodating and flexible while adding new command requests as we thought of them. Lily had great control with our two girls and yet used positive reinforcement and affection at the same time. Each day, Lily focused on new commands while always going over and reinforcing what she had already previously taught them. At the end of each day, Lily would go over with us what she had worked on with the girls and encouraged us to keep up with the reinforcements. Lily was always in command, but was also very loving with our girls. Both pups loved seeing Lily daily! The last couple of days (of 10 days total) were spent teaching both pups to walk together on a dual tandem leash holder so my husband could take them on their daily morning walks AND the riding in the car manners and commands. As you probably can tell... we are extremely happy with the decision we made in hiring Koda's Training! We would highly recommend Lily and her company! Lily is very easy to talk with and extremely knowledgeable and informative. You can tell she truly loves dogs and she wants us to also love them and be happy too. Thank you Lily for giving us the confidence that we needed and for helping us in training our girls. Blue and Sophie miss you. Judi Sweeney

I've had some bad experiences with other in home pet sitting businesses. The primary problem always comes down to trust. I have trouble trusting strangers and they usually prove to be untrustworthy. However, with P&P, they came to my house and setup Ring cameras in all the rooms, so I could watch my pets, and my pet sitter, while I was away on business. Before I even left the house on my trip, I had all the camera views available on my cell phone. I was able to see exactly what's going on, whenever I wanted. This made a big difference to me because I trust what I can see. Additionally, my pet sitter was very nice and very knowledgeable in pet care. I have three cats and I wanted someone to stay overnight with them, in case they got spooked in the night. P&P was in my home during the agreed upon hours, and I was able to verify that from my hotel room, several states away. P&P also did small odds and ends around the house, at my request. They seemed very open to any special requests. At the end of the trip, I paid the same amount as I would've paid to other pet sitting businesses, but this was the first experience I'm truly happy with. I highly recommend this business!
