It took one hour and my carpet looked good. I paid $229.00 by check and gave a $20.00 tip. No thanks for the tip. After a good week I noticed my carpet was still damp, and the carpet hadn't been cleaned? In July the same person came back. I moved a couple small area rugs to show no actual cleaning had been done. The stairs weren't cleaned entirely. The attachment left distinctive marks that showed not the entire stair was cleaned. My bedroom carpet, as well as my living room carpet flattened out and looks very old from walking on damp carpet. He did not suction the water from my carpet, leaving it damp. I showed areas where the carpet was flat under my bed where it wasn't walked on. This guy said he didn't know what happened. I told him he left a puddle of water in my laundry room, no response. I called October 25th, asked for a call back and to have someone inspect the carpet. No call back? I purchased the carpet in 2020, paying over $13,000.00. Al Schaller

Charles came in and gave us an estimate and approximate time it would take for him to lay our beautiful ceramic tile floor. We bought and had delivered all the items he would need to do the job; tile and grout. He was great in giving us all the amounts we'd need. We also helped the cost by making sure the floor was ready for him, scraped up all the old LVP and linoleum that was underneath, swept everything and emptied the areas he'd be working. Charles and Mike arrive on the day he arranged with us, ready to work. We had him set up in the garage for his convenience so that we could lock up his equipment while he worked on the floor. He's very meticulous in his layout and execution; is full of information, and really knows what he's doing. His assistant, Mike was friendly and while he's still in the learning phase of this type of work, he was always moving and learning. They made a fantastic team. By the time they were finished, we had a beautiful floor in the entryway, living room, and both bathrooms as well as the halls leading to the bedrooms. If you are looking for an artist when it comes to laying ceramic tile, this guy should be your choice. Not only is he good, knowledgeable, and dependable, his bid was the most reasonable.

My husband and I hired Steve last October to knock out the back wall of our master bedroom and…read moreinstall tall custom-made French doors as well as Spanish tile floors with in-floor radiant heat in the master bathroom and bedroom. One of the things Steve promised was to keep us regularly statused with clear communication. THAT was a false promise on his part. He seldom communicated clearly and did not keep us statused. As the project continued over the next 7 months to the present day, it became apparent that Steve is not planful and does not understand project management. The first -- and best -- thing that happened was he hired Joe McKuen (arguably the best tile guy in the Rogue Valley) to install the radiant heat and Spanish tiles that we had already purchased. Joe did a flawless job in the first two weeks. Very impressive. Understandably, the custom-made French doors and glass panels took overlong to be fabricated due to supply chain and Covid issues. When we asked, we got an update from Steve but he certainly didn't keep us in the loop. Finally, in the middle of winter Steve said he was going to take out the back wall and install the French doors and sliding screens. That occurred over about a week or so in late February. He, his father (a very experienced framer), and the owner of the door fabrication company with two of his employees finally installed the doors EXCEPT for the screen doors. It turned out Steve had never placed the order for the screened doors. According to Steve, the price of the screened doors had doubled in the intervening months. He decided he wanted to find a different vendor although I said we'd pick up the cost difference. We're still waiting for the screened doors and for the paint stains to be power-washed off the brick patio. Steve hasn't returned our calls in over a month. We have no idea if he finally placed an order for screened doors -- or if he intends to finish the job. It appears that after he got his last check from us, he just walked off the job and doesn't intend to complete it. Steve projected that this job would be completed by late December at the latest. It is almost the beginning of May and has not been completed so far. Based on this behavior on his part, we do NOT recommend him or the company he owns, Rivercross Construction.

Steven came by and gave us some ideas and said he'd work up a bid. In the meantime, we were so impressed with him that we hired his crew to paint the outside of our home! We are very pleased with our decision to hire RiverCross Construction. Stephen and his entire crew are knowledgable, friendly and easy to work with. All work was either completed early or on time.
