The salesman was very accommodating and we enjoyed working with him. The new carpet looks really nice in our home, and it was a fair price. However, there were a couple of issues with install. I had told the salesman that we wanted ALL the carpet replaced, including that which was tucked in a closet upstairs. However, apparently when the floors were measured, my husband told the installer he didn't need to measure that piece. So, it was not replaced, and had to be done after the fact. The other issue was there were carpet "leavings" EVERYWHERE, even though the installer said he had vacuumed. I asked that it be re-swept, but even then, there was still a lot of bits and pieces all along the walls, in corners, etc. I'm STILL trying to get them swept up. read more

Do not go anywhere else! We got a quote for 1630 Sq ft of carpet from another local carpet store in Grants Pass (that starts with an "L") where the lady assured us we were getting the "best price"possible on both carpet and pad. The quote was $5945 (above our budget). Since we're repeat customers, we asked her for a break on the price and she said no. So...we called Floors to Go and Daniel came to our rescue!! We showed Daniel the sample from the L store and sure enough, Floors To Go had the exact same carpet and pad. We saved a whopping $2300!! Do not shop around. I've done the legwork for you. Just had carpet removed and LVP installed throughout an 1800 sq ft home we recently purchased. Store Mgr, Todd Osten, went the extra mile to help us find the LVP that would look good with cabinetry throughout that is an unusual wood color, allowed us to take large samples home for good viewing, and their installers went above and beyond working with some weird angles while getting it done in just a couple days. PLUS, their cost was less for a more expensive Mohawk LVP and install than other bids we received. read more

Phenomenal Experience! Tina was so helpful and welcoming, and she made the process super slick. They have a bunch of options, and exactly the right carpet for my frugal budget. She set up the home pre-install measurements and the installers right there so I walked out with the whole job set up, a good estimate and a good carpet sample to take home. We had the whole job done within 10 days! And the installers, ANB Construction, were fabulous. Bought bamboo wood floor from Floors to Go as I was referred from a friend. I was told Randy had excellent customer service. Not so. The whole entire experience after purchasing was atrocious. We received flooring that was nowhere near the color displayed. Being that the flooring was strand woven bamboo we had to let it acclimate before installation. So, picture this. Our previous floor is ripped out and we are living on subfloor during this time. It wasn't until we were ready to install that we realized the difference in color as we didn't open a box until then. We were so ready to have floor that weekend. We went ahead with it assuming that this great customer service might result in something working in our favor later. Ha! Upon calling in and asking Floors to Go to stand behind their customer and to bring this issue to the manufacturer, I was cut off immediately and told it was my issue and not there's. I asked politely again only to hear Tina put the phone on the counter and complain to her coworkers that, "this guy is not getting it". She then got back on the phone and started yelling at me. I said, "Tina, there's no reason for you to be yelling at me as I'm not yelling at you", she told me she had every right to yell at me. Upon completion and having extra flooring I called to find out how to do the return of extra, good, still in the box flooring. I wasn't originally told I was receiving a special order of flooring. I walked in to their showroom and bought what was displayed in there. Yes I had to wait a week for it to show. We bought more than we needed, thought we were being smart. No warnings like, hey, you should buy exactly what you need because if you don't we're going to be extremely rude. The fine gentleman on the phone referring to me as "Buddy" so politely (sarcasm) informed that that the signs posted in the store state that special orders cannot be returned. Again, I was never told that buying a displayed item in their showroom constituted a special order. I feel like a complete idiot that I was talked in to shopping at this place. I love the idea of shopping local but unfortunately customer service seems to be the worst at these smaller shops. Home Depot has ten times better service, which is why they're doing as well as they are. Mom and Pop used to be. Floors To Go shouldn't be in business and it would behoove you to shop somewhere else. read more

We're new to the Grants Pass area and recently purchased a home which we have been updating. We feel so fortunate to have found Floors to Go. They've helped us with our back splash in the kitchen, new hardwood floors throughout, carpet in the guest bedroom and master and now tile in the guest bath. I can't say enough about Tina. She helped us with our selections, worked with us on many reschedules, followed up on installs and checked to make sure we were happy once the project was complete. With Tina, it doesn't stop once the job is done. I called her directly with help on paint colors I was struggling with. She called me back immediately, sent me some examples and now I have a bathroom I love. This company is exceptional at what they do, competitive and very caring. I would highly recommend them and will be using them again in the very near future. read more

Great service until you have a problem. At this point, I have no issues with the product itself, but the install was awful. I have seams that show in every room, and they have become even more pronounced since the install about 5 months ago. I contacted the store on Dec 7th and was told to contact the installer. I did and they sent out a couple guys to fix the seams. The seams looked like they'd been fixed, but after further inspection, it was obvious nothing had been fixed. The way the carpet had been vacuumed made it look as if some of the problems were fixed; but all the seams still showed. I contacted the installer on Dec 10th, and told him all the seams still needed to be redone. Three weeks later I still hadn't received a response so I emailed Floors To Go again to express how extremely unhappy I am. The salesperson, Marge, contacted me after this last email to work things out with the installer, but at that point I did not want the same contractor back. They installed it wrong, didn't fix it when they should have, and then ignored my text for 3 weeks. I asked the store to send an experienced carpet installer out to fix the carpet at no expense to me so they could satisfy their very unhappy customer, but Marge said Floors to Go doesn't do that, I guess a satisfied customer isn't important enough to them. And since I had no intention of giving the installer a third opportunity to fix the seams, it looks like I'm stuck with ugly seams. I also tried to contact the store owner through a letter, but received no response. read more

My Husband and I are a younger couple and we usually have trouble going into home improvement stores I'm guessing cause most people our age don't own a house and employees usually treat us like it. This was the case the first time we went into this store shopping for carpet. We weren't going to go back but my Husband knows a contractor that works with Floors to go and he helped us find the perfect stuff and when we were working with the contractor the staff was helpful and ordering was easy. Would have been 5 stars if we got that treatment on the first visit but everything ended up ok. read more
