On the delivery day we got a fridge and furniture for the living room the delivery guy put together the furniture we noticed he was acting weird so we check all furniture and he did damage the floors went he left he did not say anything to us so we call the store to make a claim so far they haven't got back to us and the phone number we been calling is now disconnected so may have to go to the store and find out what's going to happen. read more

I just like reading the bad reviews lol. Although I've purchased several items from them a while back and each time has been pretty smooth tbh. I always get the 1 year no interest contract and always pay off my stuff within that year. But there was one time where a sales rep wanted me to match my exact signature that was on my license onto the paperwork. (If that makes sense). I didn't see what the big deal was. Almost walked out but then he accepted how I was signing stuff and let me walk out with whatever I was purchasing. read more

I bought appliances from them 2/25/2022. Had the warranty and insurance on them. I canceled the insurance and 6/11/2022. Less then thier 30 day cancelation policy. Its now 9/6/2022 and they still haven't canceled it. I've sent Emails and made calls in August and trying to pay it off but the pay off is still with the over $1600 in insurance and warranty. Was on the phone with them today 9/6/2022 for 45 minutes and wanted to speak to a manager and after 15 minutes on hold I was told they will call me. Like they were saposto do the week before and last week. So I'm still sitting here waiting. The warranty department is the worst. All you can do is call customer service and they have to put in a ticket. There is no other way to speak to anyone to get this taken care off. Its been 6 months trying to get that canceled. They are the worst ever. I kept all emails to show when i started the cancelation and return documents. read more

Went to Conn's Baytown on 7/28/2020 to purchase a washer and dryer. Salesperson Robert checked the computer for availability and set my delivery up for 8/03/2020. On Thursday 7/30/2020 I received an email from Conns stating all or part of my order was not available . I immediately call Robert, who again said he checked inventory and I was still on go for Monday 8/03/20. On Sunday I received a call from Rudy at Conns to say my washer would not be available until 09/06/3020. He said I could come back (40 miles one way) and make another selection of get a refund. 1 Star is WAY too much! Conn's HomePlus their service is a JOKE. Don't buy anything from them. Go anywhere else. I've been without a fridge since 1/3. 1/5 tech comes out, said new compressor needed. Given a return repair date of 1/10. 1/10 no one calls to give me service arrival window. I call and I'm told no parts have been ordered. 1/11 I call to make sure they are ordered and they set me up for a service call for 1/14 1/14 I get the service window call in the morning but I'm told the wrong parts were ordered 1/15, 1/16, 1/17 I call each day to ensure the parts are ordered and in. I'm scheduled for 1/18 repair appt. 1/18 teach shows up says it's not the compressor after all. Replaces a computer board that he said was overheating. He leaves. He was there for 20 mins. 1/18 5:30 the fridge is STILL HOT. It's still NOT WORKING. I call and they said they can have someone out on Monday MAYBE. Daniel takes over. Still we get no answers. They said they can't do anything. We drive to the store on Garth and that manager just gives us corporates number. I CANNOT EVEN DEAL WITH THIS ANYMORE. Do not buy one single thing from them. Do not buy anything here! Their customer service is pathetic we came in here early June to purchase a fridge. They gave us the delivery date, and the day before they call us to confirm the address and make sure everything is correct turns out the address is wrong so we had to take time out of our day to go fix it at the store and then they pushed back the date because of that mistake. Then the day comes for us to get our fridge and they give us the wrong one!!! Now we won't have a fridge for an extra month and the price on the fridge is higher than what it was before and they can't respect the price??? BS we aren't buying from these people ever again!! I purchased my furniture from Conns and I was told that I needed to get a certain type of mattress because if my animals were to damage it in anyway they would replace it, so I have 3 100lb pit bull terrier and my son did not secure them as he was supposed to when I went to work and the destroyed my mattress and now they are telling me that I have to pay for this mattress but there is nothing they can do, this was such misrepresentation and false advertising and a big rip off I will be returning the furniture and burning the mattress I guess, buyer beware Conns is no longer the same reliable company read more

They had what I needed! But that is where anything good ended!! Originally said it would be free delivery because item was in stock. I had to pick it up. Then they lost my proof of homeowners ins. Had to resubmit that. Decided to just pay what I owed in full and be done with them. But no, somehow they weaseled a $100 loan origination fee into a 180 day "Same as Cash" deal. This place is nothing but a hassle! Actually a joke. They burned me this time but lost any chance of future purchases. Honestly disappointed in myself for going back to conns purchased a $5500 dollar bedroom set first delivery 1 piece was damaged sent it back no issue it happens right. Second delivery they brought back they same piece but this time the glued the broken piece back on and tried to hide it with paint lol how horrible of customer service is that and the worst part is you know a manager told them to do it. Absolutely no faith in the ownership or management team with conns I asked to be able to temporarily hold on to the piece as to not be out another week with my furniture until they could deliver me a NEW replacement due to issues will inventory and was told Absolutely not that's not how it works , why so you can re-sell it to the next guy hoping they don't notice it or inconvenience them by having them have to send it back and wait again versus taking it out of inventory. A company that would use shady tactics like this and glue and paint over a issue trying to mask a broken item is completely unethical. Sad part is the sales man agreed and offered me the show room piece as a replacement which I had agreed to but the manager seed to think that was unreasonable. They basically conned a young student, my friend, into buying a laptop with a promising price of 1160. I sat there and watched her read through each thing before signing. She was suppose to pay $200 a MONTH to pay it off. That is what the contracts said and was the salesman said but now she has to pay $1500 in 3 months, she just bought it not even a week ago, or her credit goes bad. In conclusion, Conn's sucks ass and they prey on young girls. read more

Bought a tv on sale on 9/2/2107. It was for store pickup. We have received three delivery dates. They cannot decide if it is in they are back ordered at the factory, it is in their warehouse waiting for delivery, or they tried to deliver, failed, and put it on hold. It is illegal to publish an price and not have inventory to provide for reasonable sales. I think they have been taking deliveries and selling them at a higher price while putting mine on hold. The sales lady lied. Her supervisor Freddy. The store and corporate cannot keep to a story and corporate supervisor Syreeca didn't do anything to difuse the issue. The store manager see deliveries in the past nor can he what he is getting one minute then changing his mind the next. What a bunch of liars! read more

Saleswoman made many promises to us concerning our furniture purchase and less than 6 months later the furniture has started to deteriorate. We went ahead and submitted a claim on or furniture believing they would replace our furniture and we were wrong. A "repairman" came out to examine the furniture and said they would not be replacing the furniture, instead he jerry rigged the springs that were popping out and said he would order replacement cushions that they would install after they were delivered to my house. 6 months and we have not received ask the cushions and we hear different reasons each time we call. I will never buy anything through Conn's HomePlus again. I went to the Baytown store Sunday and bought a Loveseat and two recliners. I pick a set they had on the floor that was a lite brown color and soft material. When they delivered them I got a dark brown with rougher material. So Tuesday evening I went back to Conn,s to show them I need not get what I pick and paid for. The sales person tried to tell me that the lighting in the store made it look lighter and that it was softer because that set had been on the floor for an year and a half, and they have a no return policy on furniture. He said the manufacturer changed the material but the furniture was the right one. It did not matter that it was dark brown. So on Wednesday I call customer care and basically got the same story. So I told them that they don't stand behind their 100% customer satisfaction, and all she would say was that she would note my dissatisfaction as a complaint. So if you go to Conn's for furniture good luck. I will never buy from them again. I work retail and the company I work for would do anything to take care of their customers. read more
