I purchased a gas stove & over the stove microwave from here a few months back... So far so good! They even disconnected & hauled off the old ones Half the price that Home Depot was charging I'm very pleased with the appliances & the customer service I received not to mention the delivery & set up The lady that works the front desk is super nice & she knows her appliances! Celine the delivery guy was nice too I give 5 stars bc it's hard to find good service on anything in my area & for the prices it's unbeatable I will definitely be back in the future for I have to replace my refrigerator & dishwasher soon read more

2021 we bought a Maytag Washing machine, A Zephyr range hood, and a Fischer & Paykel stove top and double oven; all of which needed repairs due to defective parts at least once, Each time the washing machine has gone out it has been three weeks to get it repaired. Will not buy another Maytag product period. Fischer & Paykel have been pretty responsive and have done well on their repairs. Our 12 year old built microwave oven died last week. My wife and I wanted to keep the same aesthetic within the kitchen, so we wanted to maintain the same look and brand line. We also didn't want to wait for a delivery. That meant walking out of the store with a black (or black stainless) GE profile built-in. After spending an inordinate amount of time at Lowe's, only to find out they have to special order them, we went back and I called around from GE's website. Proven products was the only store that had something in stock to buy. We called late on Saturday afternoon, and Veronica told us she would hold onto it for us before they close. The problem was, we didn't know proven products has 2 stores - one near the intersection of I45 and FM528, and one on Almeda-Genoa. I had called the store number on FM528, but unbeknownst to me, the phone had rolled over to the store on Almeda Genoa. We arrived at the store with about 10 minutes til closing time. The attendant at the FM528 was finishing up with a customer, and then told us what happened. He called the other store, and they were exceptionally kind enough to stay open for us to drive up to the almeda Genoa store. We got what we wanted from really nice people. Are there cheaper places to buy appliances - yes; but you won't find better service than these folks. I plan on purchasing my future appliances from them instead of the box stores. read more

I bought a brand new speed queen washing machine from Proven Products and it lasted me 3 washes and broke the same day I bought it. I have gotten nothing but the run around from this company. It has been weeks and I still have a brand new broken speed queen washer. I have called several times and even left messages for the owner asking him to please call me back, and on my most recent call I was told that he does not do call-backs or work on weekends. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed in this company and this purchase. I will never use Proven Products again, and I recommend you don't either. If i could give 0 stars I would. read more

I recently purchased a new washer/dryer at Proven Products. The reason why I went to Proven Products is because I specifically wanted a Speed Queen washer/dryer, and you can't buy them at big box or large appliance stores...you can only get them at smaller "mom and pop" appliance stores (please see below as to why I chose Speed Queen). I was very impressed with Proven Products. They were friendly and extremely knowledgeable about all the products they carry. I didn't feel like they wanted to just sell me something, or try and push me to a brand I didn't want. I walked in wanting a Speed Queen. I wanted the "middle of the line" washer/dryer, but they didn't have any in stock. But he offered to sell me the "top of the line" washer/dryer at the middle of the line price. I had been at a couple other Speed Queen dealers, and NO ONE came off the list retail price. The entire buying process went great. The installation at my home went flawlessly. They were very friendly and carried off my old 32 year-old Kenmore washer/dryer. Now, you may pay a bit more at smaller appliance stores, but the service and experience is certainly worth it! Here's why I chose a Speed Queen. My 32 year-old Kenmore washer and dryer that came with my home were dying, so I knew I had to replace them. Now, I'm one of these guys who does a lot of homework before purchasing a higher-ticket item. I want to see what's on the market, and look at the various models and features. My first thought was to go buy another Kenmore. But I first looked at Consumer Reports to get an idea of the brands and models. Because of new the government regulations, most washers are the "higher-efficiency" models. Bottom line, they don't use hot water, the tubs don't fill up with water and most take anywhere from 2-3 hours to go through one cycle. While Consumer Reports rates the various brands and models, when I went to the consumer forms (message boards) on the Consumer Reports website, I found most people weren't happy at all with their new (and usually very expensive) washer/dryers. (I could go on about the problems, if you have any questions, let me know). I simply found that I couldn't find a brand or model that would wash and dry my clothes in the 30 minutes I was used to, and didn't have to use special laundry detergent. Then I "stumbled" upon Speed Queen. One person in the Consumer Reports message board mentioned Speed Queen, and how the washer/dryer worked like his old washer and dryer. I found a few more references. The more I researched, the more I found out about Speed Queen. I couldn't find ANY negative comments at all. Bottom line, I found out they were purchased by another company over 20 years ago, and with the merger, couldn't sell any consumer models. Speed Queen is the number 1 commercial washer/dryer in the world. They only recently have been able to sell to the consumer market again. So the models are actually a "commercial" unit...stainless steel drums in both the washer and dryer, and come with a three-year warranty on the motor, 10 year warranty on the transmission, and a lifetime warranty on everything else (versus only a 1-year warranty on the high-efficiency washers you buy in the big box or large appliance stores). The Speed Queen tub fills up with cold, warm or HOT water, gets clothes very clean, and my clothes are only damp from the fast spin dry (before putting in the dryer). Plus, I can use the regular laundry detergent! I'm all for conserving our resources, but I can still do that with the many selections and water levels on the Speed Queen. Both washer and dryer do have high-efficiency settings that save water and electricity. I've had my Speed Queen washer and dryer for about 6 months. Both are a rock! I have been a patron of PP since 1978 and my parents used them back in the 50's when we moved to Pasadena. I am sure it has changed hands a few times since then. I purchased a slide-in range off the floor of the Webster store for an older home and when it was delivered it was way too big! My dishwasher wouldn't open which was caddy-corner from the range. The manager did his due diligence, but the owner was insistent I pay the pick-up fee of $75, a re-stocking fee (which I reminded him the range was a floor model) of $275, and then went so far as to insist I pay two (purchase and return) credit card fees!! This all for a range that I worked diligently to get help with and was told by the owner "he didn't have time, he was working on his day off, I had to wait for the manager at Webster (for whom he was working for on his day off) in a frantic rant. After much unnecessary stress and inconvenience and a few strong conversations, the manager, David, did finally give me the refund. I sincerely hope this owner doesn't run this fine business into the ground with such pettiness and unwillingness to work with customers who have done business with Proven Products for the last 40+ years. Time are tough for all of us at this time, and this entire experience was unnecessary and frustrating for this consumer. I AM UNHAPPY but you will need to read to the bottom to find out why.Quickly after purchasing a top loading Kenmore Elite washing machine from Sears I knew it was a blunder. I used the Kenmore ~ 7 months and that sucker was replaced with a Speed Queen. It now sets in the garage. When I know what a poorly designed washer it is, I'm torn between selling it to someone else or placing it on the curb. First, I am barely 5' tall and could not reach the bottom of the stainless steel tub; therefore, I had to keep long tongs in the utility room to get the last bit of clothes out for the dryer. The gov't. regulations have minimized all functions that we knew and loved. My main complaint is the agitator has been replaced with a device in the center of the tub's bottom that moved clothes in 10 different directions and in use, it became unbalanced (notice I wrote in the past tense). Folks, believe me when I say I could wash one standard sized sheet and one pillow case. I could not wash one set of towels consisting of a bath towel, 2 hand towels and one face cloth without it not becoming unbalanced. The standard wash was 71 minutes from start to finish IF I did not have to take time to use the tongs to move the clothes around. The machine was very quiet and I could not hear when the washing stopped and the Error code came on. My search began. I asked folks at church and Speed Queen came highly recommended. My first requirement was that it have a middle agitator, operate on the K.I.S.S. principle and, no computer to operate the machine. I asked folks at church and Speed Queen came highly recommended. I visited the Proven Products store on NASA 1 and I-45 (It is very well hidden.). The individual was very knowledgeable about his products and it was delivered on 1/21/14. I had no fear of wash size. After one wash to clean it out, my stacked up washing all but jumped into the washer. Another selling point was the three-year warranty on the motor, 10 year warranty on the transmission, and a lifetime warranty on everything else (versus only a 1-year warranty on the high-efficiency washers you buy in the big box or large appliance stores). The salesman assured me all I had to do was call them if something went wrong and Proven Products would send out a repairman. The salesman told me and my husband that he would register the washer Warranty with Speed Queen. After 2 visits to the store with the salesman and 3 phone calls trying to reach him, I have yet to receive the Warranty. I last visited him, in person, whereupon he write down the needed information (name, address & phone number) adding that "the typist will be in Friday and she can type it up and get it in the mail to you." Today is Friday, February 14 and I have to yet receive the promised warranty. read more

On 12/05/16 I paid for 3 matching appliances for $2,764.71 of which 1 was delivered that week. I was supposed to receive the other two by 12/15/16 in plenty of time for Christmas. Still don't have them. On Monday, 1/09/17 they PROMISED to refund me for the other two!. Another lie to go along with their many others. Now they ARE REFUSING TO REFUND MY MONEY!
