I have seen kids line up thru the door outside so many in the last, finally got a chance to visit Conrad's at Westwood. The booth and bar style look of the shop seems straight out of a movie seen. Alongside ice creams, they have so many other chocolate, candy and sweet confectionery products. We got a cup of soft chocolate ice cream with gummy bears. The ice cream was super tasty, not icy at all. Got wonderful friendly service from two associates in front counter. Price is decent. Certainly a place to stop by if you are in the area.

So good! The cutest ice cream parlor that has some additional candies and chocolates for purchase. If you're familiar with Holsteen's in Bloomfield - this shop has a similar ambiance. I ordered the Black Raspberry Oreo ice cream with marshmallow topping. The ice cream was so tasty and creamy! Also good oreo balance in the ice cream. Definitely will be coming back to try other flavors and sweets. Received quick service when we sat at the counter.

Conrad's is such a neighborhood gem! I've been coming here for over 30 years and I'm so happy to see this business is still thriving. There's a reason there's a line around the block on summer nights, with people of all ages waiting to order ice cream. It's simply the best. And they always have the sweetest Easter display with chocolate bunnies and eggs. Highly recommend stopping by for something sweet to enjoy there or take away.

Happened upon this spot as locals were lining up around the block. The place has been family run for years and the ice cream was a nice treat.

A medium Sundae not even filled to the top. $8.25. what a rip off I will never go back.

I went to Conrad's to get a Sundae for myself. I decided to get a medium because the small looked very small. An older lady served me. So I don't understand why she couldn't fill the container to the top. I was totally ripped off. $8.25 for this? I will never go back. There are plenty of other ice cream places in Westwood to go to. And this will not be one of them for me. Thanks for ripping me off

While passing through, I discovered Conrad's Confectionery which is a hidden gem to me; its enticing array of candies, chocolate and delightful ice cream. The Butter Pecan flavor I tried was a heavenly treat that perfectly complemented the charming atmosphere. The service was impeccable. The name on the door "Conrad's Homemade Candy Ice Cream," truly reflects the delectable delights that await inside. A must-visit for anyone looking for treats for the holiday season!

Vistes at a food truck festival today. Seriously some of the best ice cream I've ever had and the chocolate just melts. Definitely recommend!!

I have tried so many different ice creams and there is no ice cream place better than Conrad's. Maybe not so many fancy or funky flavors as in Washington DC or on Pacific, incl SF, Seattle, LA incl Salt & Straw or Molly Moon's. Our NJ Conrad's is rich buttery smooth just simply true ice cream as I remember it from my childhood many decades ago. The pic shows raspberry with chocolate chips and salt turf

Best ice cream anywhere. Love their soft serve, and the specials flavors are amazing. My favorite is the mint chocolate chip.

For a dessert at that price point, I expected something that at least resembled a full sundae. I understand that restaurants have different pricing structures and presentations, and I don't mind paying premium prices when the quality and portion justify the cost. However, what I received felt completely out of proportion to the price charged. It was disappointing to spend $17 on a dessert and leave feeling like I had barely been served anything at all. The ice cream itself may have been fine, but the value simply wasn't there. A sundae should feel like a treat, not a sample. I think I finally found a spot where I can confidently get good pasta AND dessert. My partner and I stopped in this week, and we were immediately met with cool, industrial-style decor and a BOMB playlist. The staff was super friendly and helped a lot with specials and recommendations, as it was our first time. For drinks, we started with a Fig & Melon cocktail and their Old Fashioned. Both were great, but I think the old-fashioned wins over the Fig & Melon. It's smoky and sweet, while the F&M was citrusy and refreshing. To start, we ordered the Mozzarella Sticks Di Bar Mutz with Mutz Hot Honey & Sour Milk. Personally, I am tired of hot honey on everything, haha, so this wasn't for me. If they served it on the side first vs drizzled on top, I probably would have enjoyed it more, as the mozz sticks alone were delicious. The breading was more like a garlic bread than the traditional coating. It also comes with extra hot honey on the side. For our mains, we shared the Spicy Rig and Trottole. Again, both are really good, but the Trottole was the CLEAR winner. The short rib was rich, and the overall dish was perfect for the savory lover like me. The Spicy Rig was lighter, and the bite of pasta with basil was excellent. For dessert, we ordered the mile high espresso martini, affogato martini, which had ice cream they make in-house, and the Samoas cheesecake. Every single thing was delicious! It's a good problem to have when you're dining somewhere, and you're battling it out for who has the best dish. Can't wait to come back and bring friends!
