I never felt the need to make a post until today. I just moved into the area and decided to take my kids out for icecream after their first week of school. I ordered a small milkshake for my daughter and this is what I was given (please refer to the attached picture). It should be noted they had a Roku remote on the counter that I grabbed to use as a size reference. I just want to emphasize that this is the amount of milkshake we were given, it was NOT drank from. Baffled by the lack of milkshake in the cup, I asked the employee if this was my small milkshake he confirmed it was. The employee was a very nice young man and advised he had simply followed the measurements given to him by his employer. I'm not sure if it was a mistake on the young man's end but if this is their "small" milkshake I will no longer be frequenting Stack Creamery. read more

I was honestly a bit hesitant to come here after reading some of the reviews. To my surprise it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! The lady that assisted me was pleasant and showed me the different options to have the ice cream on. Parking: Street parking is where it's at for this location. There is also metered parking available. There's no parking lot or garage. Quality: I liked the ice cream and would have it again. The waffle cup I thought didn't justify the price. It was just average. Next time I would have the ice cream on a regular cup. Price: $10 for ice cream in a waffle is a bit on the expensive side. As stated prior, I would come again for the ice cream but I would skip the waffle cup. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience and I would likely come back. I would add a few tables to the front of the store as there are very limited spots to sit inside. read more

Should have seen Yelp reviews prior to coming here. Came here over the weekend during this quarantine and there were no customers, was greeted by a young woman. After that didn't hear a peep, I could see they were busy with online orders I suppose. The young man behind the counter is visibly pissed off- you can easily tell because of how he was handling the utensils in his hand and banging things down aggressively. I then realized despite the "no entry without mask" disclaimer prior to entering, the young man working there wasn't wearing a mask at all!! As soon as I saw, an older man comes out wearing a mask, the young girl is half wearing the mask and the guy is not wearing anything. I walked out of this place. Don't even practice what they're they're advising customers to do and take safety during COVID..being in the food industry not taking health precautions, that's great. read more

I admit right off the bat that I did not have ice cream here. This is a cautionary tale about franchises, technology, and perkiness gone amok during a quiet Sunday afternoon in a small town. It could be YOUR town. The line at Starbucks was ridiculous and I was craving an iced coffee, so I walked a block to Cold Stone...remembering the "Iced Coffee!" sign I had noticed in the window. A too-cheerful - what do you call them? Creamista? Stone-ista? - took my order. This is what happened: Me: Large iced coffee please. Her: What flavor? Me: Uh...coffee-flavored? Her: We have Raspberry, Mocha or Vanilla! Me: I'd like an iced coffee? Her: We have 3 flavors! Me: Uh...okay...vanilla I guess. Her: You got it! I see her grab a plastic container out of the fridge filled with some thick, dark liquid. (Soylent Green?!?) Then she reaches for a blender. Me: Excuse me...I ordered an iced coffee? Her: Yes...I'm making it for you! Me: In a blender? Her: Yes...you'll see! Crushed or cubed?! Me: ......... Her: Ice...what kind of ice do you want? Me: Cubed. She then tosses the thick liquid, some kind of powder, a pump or two of another dark liquid, and some milk - oh wow...a natural ingredient! - into the blender, gives it a spin, and proudly pours it into a tall Styrofoam glass filled with those awesome ice cubes. OMG I hate Styrofoam! But she's not finished...here comes the fake whipped cream. Because it might not be sweet enough. She took my $5 or $6...I don't remember the exact price but it was waaaay too much for an iced coffee...and sent me on my way with a final cheerful squeal. The "iced coffee" was thick...the consistency of Ensure. It was cloying and gritty and so stunningly sweet my teeth hurt. For days. I tasted lots of vanilla and lots of sugar...but no coffee. The staff is great and friendly. But not the owner guy. And i hate when he makes my creation. He turns everything into a like it size even if you order a gotta have it a waffle bowl. Picture this, it's a hot summer day, and you are craving something nice and cold. You come into cold stone, and have to wait forty-five minutes just to get to see the most ridiculously overcomplicated menu. When you finally decide what you want, you have to decipher the ludicrous size choices. Then they charge you like 8 bucks for a bowl of mush. Seriously. This place is such a waste of space. I mean, I love ice-cream, far more than it's normal to love it, and I definitely think this place is a calorie and money sucker, and has no place in Westwood or anywhere else. read more

Portions are very small, Love-it didn't even come to the top of cup and big spaces were on the sides. The amount of mix-ins was rediculous, about a teaspoon of "powdered" Heath bar crunch was almost invisible. No one was there at 7pm on 85 degree night. Guess the locals know. With this kind of business the place will close. People should be lining up on the street like they do at Conrads and Dairy Queen. And the owner, who made my dish was very unfriendly, no smile, no thank you. Doesn't corporate oversee their franchises. Hope Corporate sees this. It would be great to have a well run place at this location. This place spoils it for other Cold Stones. I'm wondering about going to any others in case they're the same now. I like the founders favorite...I get the " like it " size because you get a better proportion of ingredients to ice cream than larger sizes. The "like it" is usually heaping where as others sizes leave me weeping. read more

I don't really understand the negative reviews for this place. I've been coming here for years! The staff is very friendly and ready to help me when Im unsure about what I want to get or if I have any questions. They have no problems following my order and I've never been unsatisfied. Some of the portions of toppings can be a little small, but I always just ask them for extra and they never have a problem with it. My kids love the "birthday cake remix" and get it every time, whereas I prefer the "chocolate devotion". The owner is very nice and even offered to serve us one day after closing time. My family and I will definitely continue to come here. read more
