Your ice cream sandwich taken to the next level. You'll never eat Carvel again! Choice of ice cream and choice of cookie and yet more choices for toppings. I opted for the vanilla ice cream between peanut butter cookies...simply amazing. I did need to return back for a spoon though for all that piled on ice cream! read more

Disappointed and Frustrated I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing. We ordered a Cookie Monster ice cream cake for a special occasion, and it turned out to be a complete disaster. The cake had a strong chemical smell and taste--specifically the Oreos and hot fudge. It literally smelled like paint. We were shocked and immediately concerned about whether it was even safe to eat. We tried reaching out to Stack Creamery directly to let them know about the issue and request a resolution, but we received no response. No call back, no email--nothing. For a business that sells food (especially to families and children), you'd think they'd at least take a food safety concern seriously. But apparently not. This kind of customer service or complete lack thereof is unacceptable. Mistakes happen, but ignoring customers when something goes wrong is just bad business. We won't be ordering from here again, and I'd caution others to think twice before trusting them with anything important. read more

I love this concept of building your own ice cream sandwich. My boyfriend and I went here on our first date over three years ago, so it has such a nostalgic place in my heart! I also love that they're open year-round because even in the winter, I'll eat ice cream! We typically go for their ice cream sandwiches. My go-to is the Double Chocolate Chip Cookies, Mint Ice Cream, and Chocolate Chips. I also love their Holy Cannoli Ice Cream! Relatively recently, I tried a donut sandwich. While it was good, the glaze was a little sticky and it was a little tough to eat. I recommend sticking with the cookies as your sandwich "bread" for these! read more

I got the ice cream cookie sandwich with one m&m cookie and a death by chocolate cookie, with chocolate ice cream and mini chocolate chips. The death by chocolate cookie was the perfect consistency but the m&m cookie was hard and a bit stale. It was still an enjoyable dessert! The ice cream is yummy, not the best homemade I've had in the area however. I have been here a few times and will definitely be back. read more

Wow, this place is unbelievably delicious. Located right on the main Ave in Westwood, Stack is definitely where to stop for dessert. The girls behind the counter are SO sweet. They were all so patient and caring. I went in thinking I would get an ice cream sandwich and maybe a scoop of ice cream on the side but when they made my sandwich it was so huge I skipped out on the rest of my order. I did get to sample the matcha ice cream and it was delicious. My ice cream sandwich was made with one side brownie and the other side cookies and cream cookie. Both were so good, the brownie was soft just like the perfect middle piece in the tray. The cookies and cream cookie was so tasty, perfectly chewy. I opted for strawberry ice cream and that was super creamy and delicious too. I also got gummy bears to top it all off. It's such a fun treat. They also have so many options. Tons of ice cream options but also cookie options. All delicious and fresh too. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

This place is soooo good! They bake their cookies fresh daily in-house with their own family made recipe. As soon as you walk in you can smell them baking! You get to choose your top and bottom cookie flavors, ice cream & topping. I created a smore's cookie & death by chocolate cookie with Cookie Monster ice cream and topped with cookie crisp. This dessert was so delicious! The ice cream is extra cold so it doesn't melt faster than you can eat it. You HAVE to try this. They also have a location in Jersey City! Can't wait to go back! I have mixed feelings about this place. Love the concept! The baked goods are delicious and probably the best part. They have a good variety of ice cream flavors but they have no flavor. I found the mudslide ice cream to be very bland, barely any coffee flavor. My sis ordered cookie dough ice cream and she kept saying they got her order wrong because it seemed to be just plain vanilla. They also need to work on portion and cookie sizes. Based on the cookies I chose compared to my brother's, my sandwich was twice as big as his. The cookies were about the half size and he barely had any ice cream. read more

I was in the area for a few social events, and I was craving some dessert. I happened to map what was close to where I was, and this place came up. I had vaguely remember seeing this place on Tik Tok before, showing the homemade cookie ice cream sandwiches they sell. I came with some family on a Saturday evening; the area wasn't too crowded. There is street parking nearby, and it's not hard to find a spot at all. After we walked in, there was a very short line. We browsed the menu, which advertised various ice cream flavors, cookie flavors, and toppings. The flavor variety of ice cream was decent, also offering a few vegan options. The menu offers cookie sandwiches, donut sandwiches, brownie sundaes, and ice cream cones + cups. I opted in for a 2-scoop ice cream cup with a cookie in it. I went for the Cookie Monster and Sea Salt Caramel ice cream flavors. I got it with a Birthday Cake cookie inside. I asked if they warmed up cookies. The employee said the cookies were soft, but they do not warm up for each sundae. I was fine with this, since the cookies seemed very fresh. Once my sundae was ready, I was very excited. I am very picky with both cookies and ice cream. We decided to sit on an outdoor bench, since there was no indoor seating. The cookie texture was perfect. It had a little bit of crisp on the outside with a softer texture on the inside. It maintained a great texture and didn't harden from being next to the cold ice cream. The ice cream itself was delicious and creamy. The Cookie Monster was much better than your average cookies and cream. Overall, I really enjoyed this place. I felt that the ingredient quality of everything I was eating was exceptional. It offers a good variety of options for people with different dessert preferences. I went to check this place out bc I've seen the great videos and pics online but when I went I was a bit disappointed. They had a decent selection of ice cream and cookies and don't get me wrong the cookies were soft and tasteful. The flavor I goy was ube which was OK. Didn't really have the ube taste to it. I thought the presentation was going to be like what I've been seeing online the huge scoop and just mouth watering but ehhh. It looked like something I would've made at home. read more

Just a Queens girl visiting her sister in NJ, and after going to Smorgasburg for years and having ice cream everywhere I go (including internationally)...just the most delicious and generous ice cream sandwich. I had this delivered on DoorDash by 9:30pm Friday in the summer and I could taste the love. The cookie is so thin yet doughy and holds the sandwich. The ice cream was so cold despite its travel and definitely creamy. Best of the best. Loved the topping options since I got fruity pebbles on mine! Ice cream was good. It was creamy and sticky and flavorful. On the other hand cookies tasted on the older staler side. Although the hype is about building your own cookie sandwich, I'd be hesitant to order another if the cookies weren't fresh. The cookies weren't soft like other reviews on here but were hard. Otherwise I completely loved the concept. A customized cookie ice cream sandwich with a coating any toppings will cost you $6 + tax. My rating would be 3.5/5. The ice cream saved the day. read more

Found Stack on Instagram recently and had to check it out for myself. I got a cookie ice cream sandwich and It was a great instagrammable moment. It looked delicious and tasted just as good I really loved the taste of the ice cream. The cookies were a little hard for my liking, but still good overall. I had a special for the cookies, so I came and got a mixed dozen. The inside is really cute, so I definitely want to come back for an ice cream sandwich. Everything is home made, and the cookies are soft, but have just enough crunch to them. I had one with cinnamon in it, as well as what I thought was maybe fruity pebbles. I want to come when they first open to see how they are when they are still warm from the oven. read more

I had the Chocolate chip cookie and the Coffee ice cream, it was sooo nice. My only critique is the lack of seating cause it's a tight spot. My other critic is that the "sandwich" doesn't really work after a bite, it's collapses pretty quickly, unsure if it was the way it was served or that's how it works. This spot says the sell frozen yogurt too but they do not. Their cookies are small but they taste delicious and the flavors are very rich. The ice cream was super creamy, not hard, and complimented the cookie nicely. In the picture I got the snickerdoodle cookie with dulce de leche ice cream, and the pumpkin spiced cookie with salted caramel pretzel ice cream. The snickerdoodle combo was definitely the way to go. The pumpkim tasted more like a chai latte and there were hardly any pretzel bits in the ice cream (was more like a plain vanilla) I recommend getting the ice cream and cookie separate because the ice cream makes the cookie hard and stale. read more

I'm not sure what's happened here but 40 bucks for 4 ice cream sandwiches that are practically inedible ISNT it. Prefaced: we live 5 minutes away and did deliver QUICKLY. Even handed it directly to us. 2 of 4 are completely melted, doesn't even look like they could have "stacked them" because the ice cream is soup. They forgot the brownie pieces which are a "required add on" for .50 1 was soft enough to pick up but impossible to bite through the brownie because (it's delicious i mean truly it's a spectacular rich brownie) The brownies are too hard for you to bite and the ice cream is too soft so it's a mess. The last one was...totally fine ice cream wise. Clear scoop. Still on the brownie which again is delicious but it's just not great execution, the chocolate chunks in the brownie are delicious but again makes biting the sandwich difficult. We've brought them home ourselves before and not had a problem so it looks to me like the one ice cream was already too soft at the store. Will try again just perhaps not through DoorDash read more

I short experience but a good one. Also heads up, they don't put napkins in the bag. They asked me if it was my first time and accordingly explained how the process worked. 1. Pick two cookies 2. Pick ice cream 3. Pick toppings Literally on the sign above but they didn't make assumptions if I could read it and I really appreciate that. The friendly service made me really happy and the store was very clean. We didn't eat inside but the store is located near the train station which has a park area around it. The cookie was kind of dry, I like chewy cookies not crunchy ones, but I'm not sure if it was because it was stale per se. Either way it's sturdiness kept the ice cream sandwich together after I couldn't eat it all and had to leave it in a warm drive home. The baking sheet ensures that the sand which doesn't make a mess if it melts a bit. Putting it back in the freezer for a bit revived it. read more

This is really simple concept executed very very well. You pick a cookie or a donut (go with the cookie learn from my adventure) then a type of ice cream then a topping if you want. These things are PACKED with ice cream onto warm cookies being made throughout the day. I tried it on a donut which seemed fun at first but once it cooled off s little the bottom bun was soaked and just got gross on me but still tasted great! 5/5 but understand you must come hungry it's awesome dessert!! read more

One of my all time favorite desserts is the ice cream sandwich. Stack Creamery is letting you customize your very own or get some of their creations. We did one with s'mores cookies and mudslide ice cream. The other cookies were peanut butter chip and chocolate chip, with vanilla peanut butter swirl ice cream. Both sandwiches tasted great, but when the sandwiches arrived, the cookies were hard as a rock, and the ice cream not so much. Next time, will place in freezer, and I'm sure a better eating experience. read more

Cookie Monster flavor rating: 4.5/10 Avid ice cream fan here, tasted 20+ different ice cream venues, and this was disappointing Cookie Monster commonly consists of blue colored vanilla ice cream with cookie chunks (ie. Chips Ahoy) and Oreo pieces. My scoop consisted of Oreo crumbs and cookie dough pieces....not even actually cookie chunks... ... Stack HAS COOKIES. HOW DO THEY ADD COOKIE DOUGH PIECES WHEN THEY CARRY ACTUAL COOKIES And if this is outsourced from another company, you should end your contract with them. * This is based on the sole review of ice cream itself and not the cookie sandwiches. read more

This is a very special place. Everything I've tasted from here was excellent- the cookies are some of the best I've ever had. Perfect texture and sweetness. Ice cream flavors are also delicious. My only complaint is we eat it too fast and have to go back in for more treats. The system is pretty great- your pick your top and bottom cookie, pick your ice cream and a topping to roll the sandwich in. It's perfection. Glad to see this addition in Westwood. read more

Came across this new shop and had to try for my love of anything sweet. The owners are very warm and welcoming and you'll find them working behind the counter! You can build your own cookie sandwich or get a traditional cone or cup. I went for a chocolate chip cookie top & and Oreo cookie bottom with the mudslide ice cream which is a light coffee flavor with some chocolate coated with brownie crumble. It was out of this world! So good we went back 2 days later and brought our neighbors along! Can not recommend this place enough! read more

If you're indecisive read through the menu before going bc you'll spend all afternoon trying to decide. I got the warm donut with creamy vanilla ice cream and chocolate sprinkles. - Perfection After about 15min my indecisive brother got an m&m cookie with peanut butter vanilla and walnuts. - Amazing By the time he got his I already ate mine and since it's only fair I ate half! I decided to stop in to grab an ice cream to bring next door to five dimes. I tried the mudslide flavor but it wasn't for me. I asked to try cotton candy and was told it was one per customer. I told them I wanted to buy a cone but just wanted to try before I buy. The woman told me that there is a sign and then opened the door so I could leave. I understand that they are probably swamped with kids usually but I was an adult there by myself on a Wednesday at 8pm. I've bought cookies there before through the "too good to go app" which were pretty good but would not return on principal. read more

Man, by looking at this picture you can tell this ice cream sandwich is legit! Smooth, delicious, creamy ice cream matched with a tasty birthday cake cookie is a perfect marriage! This is definitely one of my favorite new places I've tried in the last few years which is very far and few. I've wanted to try this place and took me a while but I'm glad I finally did! I am excited to go back and try even more flavors and ice cream sandwich combinations! It doesn't look that huge the ice cream sandwich is in the picture but it is HUGE! Nice vanilla flavor. A boatload of mix-ins. Literal boat load I saw the pontoon in the back, love a place committing to a bit. And the nice thing about this concoction was that it was still cold but oh so runny. Almost a hybrid milkshake consistency. Loved it. Listen, there are better in the area but they have a great patio in a great spot in a great town with some great options. A warm summer day 5 and a natty 4. Let's stick natty, that's it from your daddy.

The employee was a very nice young man and advised he had simply followed the measurements given to him by his employer. I'm not sure if it was a mistake on the young man's end but if this is their "small" milkshake I will no longer be frequenting Stack Creamery.
