We got "Bountiful European Dish Garden" $69.99, total $95.89 w/ delivery and taxes.(picture below of advertised and actual) My wife had ordered about 9:45am this morning, and the flowers were delivered at 7:40pm and they were very unpleasant! We were so embarrassed of what had shown up, they looked dead and dried up and wilted... We will never use another Conroy's flower again, what an embarrassment. If you want flowers make sure you go in and grab them yourself, and I would never suggest using Conroy's. So , I came in to get some flowers for my mom and I was looking for a bouquet. I found a bouquet a white plain one, but I wanted to add more flowers to it. The vase was pretty empty so I let them know which flowers I wanted and to add them in. When I suggested which ones I wanted, one girl told me no you can't do that mind you I said that I would pay for the flowers , pay additionally along with the vase that I wanted . I've put an order in 3 times with conroys bell, and 2 times with conroy's in downey. Lets you go through all of the order including writing a note to the recipient, payment etc then the order doesn't process, doesn't say why, and they don't answer the phones. Maybe they don't service the area, it's 10 miles from them but if that's the case they asked for the delivery zip, 2nd question, they should not let you continue and waste your time. First off, I understand that the Downey Conroys is not responsible for what other Conroys flowers do BUT there is a definite problem in how they train people when it comes to orders that are wired. Let me explain. I ordered at 10:03am this morning some flowers to my daughter for her 16th birthday. I called it in and they were very efficient at charging my account and getting all the information required for the delivery. Fast forward to 2:40pm. I contacted my ex-wife to ask if our daughter received the order and it still was not delivered. I called the same lady (who I just found out was the manager) and she put me on hold and, I assume, called up the florist that the order was transferred to. She came back on the phone 5 minutes later and told me that the driver for the other florist was still out delivering and that the flowers are on board. Awesome. I told her that I would wait and see. Fast forward to 4:30pm. Still no flowers. I called the store again but the manager had left (at 3pm). The lady there didn't know what I was talking about and stated there was no order placed. I was livid. After about 10 minutes of back and forth I agreed to let her call the manager and try to find my order. I hung up and learned at 5pm that the order was delivered from my daughter. I then got a call from the Conroys stating from the lady that she hadn't looked in the "wire transfer" box so that's why she didn't find it. She stated "Well, there's nothing I can do about it but thank you for the order." Someone needs to train these people how to handle situations when the manager is out. Obviously the manager knows way more than the people under her. I gave 2 stars because it was delivered but I was going to give 1 star originally. I honestly do love this store but as far as calling them to deliver out of their immediate area I would go somewhere else or deliver it yourself. read more

So I picked up some Mother's Day flowers for my mom today and honestly was disappointed in how the flowers were arranged and the flowers themselves. It was a big letdown and I don't see myself spending the kind of money I did for this shop again. I posted two photos the flowers I got and the picture of what they were supposed to look like. I ordered an online delivery from the website last year ( don't know which shop it came from) and the flowers looked exactly like the picture. So to have them look so sad was honestly a letdown. I was a first time customer and placed my order online and when they were delivered to the person I sent them to they were nothing like what I ordered they were: not the same flowers, not the same colors and way less flowers then I ordered (barely any flowers ). I was ripped off. I went in person to complain and was there an hour trying to have them fix their mistake and what they gave me was the embarrassment of involving the person I sent the flowers to ; to return the incorrect order and having them replace it with a new one that still wasn't even what I ordered. This place sucks point blank. I remember going here last year for mother's day to pick up a bouquet of flowers. Everything was fine until one short, troll looking, very unattractive worker took it upon herself to get in a huddle with her other ugly co-workers and whisper something about me. It was so obvious that you couldn't help but notice it. Needless to say, I confronted her and she looked all surprised while the other staff busied themselves pretending to work all of a sudden. She claimed she said nothing but my friend noticed it also. It wouldn't have bothered me so much had I not been in a hurry and just getting over an illness. if I could leave less than ONE STAR, I would. I ordered an arrangement recently for my God Daughter to be delivered to her school. Because I placed the order on a Sunday and my usual florist was not open or available, I chose to go online and use 1800flowers. The website allowed me to select "School" and I had already verified that they could be delivered to her at the school. I paid additional fees for the next day delivery, too. The next day, I received an email that the arrangement had been delivered. When I spoke with my God Daughter later in the evening, she said that the florist left her a voicemail saying she could come and pick up her arrangement. Which means THEY NEVER ACTUALLY DELIVERED IT!! This was supposed to be a special surprise for a 15 yr old girl. RUINED!!!!!! Not to mention, why would you call the RECEPIENT to pick it up rather than the person who sent it? No one bothered to notify me. I called 1800flowers and complained. I then called Conroy's who was the delivering florist. I spoke with the manager who cut me off when speaking, was extremely rude and blamed everyone - 1800flowers, the school and her new hires who were in training. Not once did she accept any responsibility. Even her "apology" was rude. She said that the order was cancelled on her end and so I needed to take up my complaint with 1800flowers. It's a shame that trying to send a gift to someone can turn out to be such a disaster. I would never recommend using Conroy's or 1800flowers again. read more

I called and asked how much I would need to spend to get a nice flower arrangement. I was told something nice would be $60-$70. With taxes and delivery the total was $99. Delivery was prompt, within two hours, that was the good part. What was dissappointing to me when I saw the flowers just after they were delivered it looked as if a child had just stuffed them in a vase without any attempt to arrange them. First of all the arrangement was two hours late. Second, the arrangement did not look like what it did on line. It only had 8 small roses in the whole arrangement, not even a full dozen. So when the order arrived on Saturday, it looked absolutely NOTHING like what I had ordered. Night and Day! So I called to complain to Teleflora, they contacted Conroys and let me know that they were willing to pickup and redeliver that same day by 1pm. So I waited, and nothing. I called Conroys and was told by 7 ! Again, I waited! Nothing, I was gaven excuse after excuse.I was told to go the next day and switch the bouquets. So I drove to the location (after paying a delivery fee) And I was told that the bouquet did have the exact flowers, they just hadnt bloomed yet. YET i saw so many arrangements with the flowers my bouquet needed. I was told my only option was to switch with any bouquet of the similar price. So i did and had to pay an extra $10 of a price difference. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with any florist! To top it off, the arrangement wasnt a surprise anymore To my mom.
