You have to be hard core to be checking Yelp for your gas station, but I feel you. This is my primary spot unless it's crowded, because in SB, you're never that far from another stop. The gas is reasonable, the mini-mart has all the lottery tickets and fountain drinks you need, and the workers are friendly. They would help eliminate some conflict if they painted arrows for the direction you are supposed to pull up, but that just means you can enter either way. read more

I moved to SB a year ago and I was thankful that this gas station was right around the corner and open 24hour. Unfortunately these past 3 months this places has been god awful. The Slew of employees have gone from good to horrible. I recently went there at night and there was a dispute about the pump being switched between 2 costumers. The employees switched the pump number and then proceeded to act like a child because he messed up. The costumer never raised his voice but the employee processed to point fingers and got overly emotional. Meanwhile a line was forming but god forbid he help anyone else during his temper tantrum. Most people just walked out and didn't get anything. When he finally decided to help the man before me ( 20min later) he YET AGAIN messed up and didn't put the correct amount on the pump. Maybe the manager should have someone else there to hold that employees hand when doing the night shift. It's obviously too overwhelming for him. The second instance was a new lady who is all doped up or just extremely tired asleep at the cash register. If I wanted to I could of totally took whatever I want. I'm looking forward to hear what the owner/manager has to say about all this, I'm 99% sure I'll be in the wrong. Ignorance is bliss read more

One of the most cleanest and organized gas stations I have ever gone to. In fact I visit here more than often because the coffee is pretty inexpensive and the gas is always competitive. Clean, clean, clean, and the best gasoline deal in town! Nobody loves spending dozens of dollars in an effort to fill your car up with fuel. However, it's a necessity - and I choose to do so at a place that I enjoy. This station underwent a complete remodel some years back, and the quality still shows: well-lit at night, wide lanes, and a state-of-the-art convenience store with one of the fastest chip card reader POS machines I've ever encountered. The grounds are well-maintained, and the restroom is always clean and orderly which is surprising for a gas station. The cashiers vary, but are typically on par with service. I also love the location so conveniently located to the freeway. I sometimes find myself making a pit stop here even though neither my home nor work are in the neighborhood. Great gas station! Good prices on fuel, excellent prices on beer cheaper than grocery stores, great beer selection,king kobra is cheaper than water(literally). Like other people said they should add ethanol fuel they are one of the only ones in town with hydrogen fuel already. Staff is always friendly and helpful! read more

We stopped here because the car was shaking. Google said it was the tires so we stopped here. Jeff helped us put tires in the car. So friendly and helpful!! Normally this location is great, it's the last place that I can find in Santa Barbara that actually sells cigarettes I smoke, and the girl that normally works nights there is absolutely delightful! Great attitude and you actually see her cleaning, which means she's actually doing something besides standing by the register. But I do have an issue with the fact that they're choosy about when their bathroom is open and when their bathroom is closed. I work late at night doing deliveries and what not, which means yes I am a paying customer because I do buy gas as well as drinks and snacks there. Which means I spent a considerable amount of money on a regular basis at this location. So why is it that your restroom is closed half the time? People like me who work in the middle of the night doing what I do rely on locations like this where I am a paying patron to be able to use their restroom as well, it just makes no damn sense. If you're open why is your restroom not open?? I can understand having a lock, I can understand having a code, I can understand needing to buy something first to use the restroom. All of this makes sense, but when all of those apply and your restroom is still closed to me and I have to go across the street and buy something else somewhere else to use the restroom that's upsetting!! Just because you don't want to have to clean the bathroom after someone, which by the way you're not gonna have to clean the bathroom after me, I'm not one of those people who's going to make a mess after you so kindly let me use your restroom, but I understand that some people are not the same and so you will have to clean it eventually after certain people use it, but they say no to everybody including paying people because you don't want to have to clean it is pure laziness. Maybe I should just come in on the nights when that one woman is working, she's the best employee that I've seen there in awhile! And by the way management ---your employees that are doing that are sending away business because I'm no longer going to be paying if I'm not able to use the restroom also. Went to get gas and I used my debit card so I can get the cash price which every gas station I been to does that except for this one. This is the only gas station that treats a debit card as a credit card. The guy inside when I told him didn't seem to care. read more

Horrible experience. I forgot my wallet, I only had some change dimes, quarters and dollar bills and a 5. The dimes were about 5 dollars that I was supposed to change for my son to give him a 5 dollar bill. Mark at the Cash Register told me he could not accept the quarters and dimes because he was not a "Bank" and told me to take my change away somewhere else. He was not busy. There were two guys at the register. I been pumping gas every 3 days spending about 150 per week in gas. I will not return to this gas station anytime in the future. I will take my 150 x4 = 600 dollars per month somewhere else. read more
