Now she went in and asked for a physical, which my insurance pays for 100% no co pay, they charged her 40.00 copay at time of visit. my daughter not knowing this paid. I called the clinic and spoke to the receptionist, who verified that she scheduled a physical, then I spoke to the office manager Misty, who stated it was a work physical, and they consider each physical a different type, such as work/school/personal. I verified with insurance there was no such thing as different physicals. Then I tried to call the billing office for 2 weeks, multiple times a day, and Brittany never answers or returns calls, I then called main hospital who sent me to the billing supervisor, who was extremely rude, she said they sent it as a regular office appt not a physical. and she had no intentions on changing it. therefore my daughter should get a refund for incorrect coding, because they decided she came in form something other then what she stated. This is now being disputed. WATCH YOUR BILL IF YOU GO HERE, THEY ARE KNOWN FOR LYING AND CHEATING.

Once arriving, the check-in process is smooth. New patients must present ID and insurance. Once you're in the system, only an updated insurance card is needed (if applicable). The nurses are very attentive and friendly and Dr. Ensminger is the best. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, but he truly cares about his patients as well. Larry has a great "bedside manner," very professional and knowledgeable, but he always surprises me with his common sense. Example: I had an orthopedist tell me I'd need knee surgery soon. I told Larry, and he told me that's what they get paid for - doing knee surgeries. Larry instead gave me a three injection treatment that I've done twice now, and it helps tremendously. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with this practice. They are Christian-based (I think) but all that's meant to me is they care about their patients. I can't recommend College Park Family Care highly enough, and I'm old enough to have had experience with *lots* of doctors. :)

The people on the phone are always helpful and kind. I never wait even five minutes in their spacious and clean waiting room. The nurses or medical assistants who take me back and triage me are always kind, as well. Once in the examination room, my wait is seldom more than ten minutes. Dr. Weaver is always so kind and welcoming. She sits and listens. She does not seem distracted, she is not busy looking at the computer or writing notes. She is compassionate and she does not judge! The reference desk is always helpful, they call to pre-cert any services Dr. Weaver sends me out of office for; and they call me to tell me what my out-of-pocket will be. There is a phlebotomist on site and there's never more than a five minute wait for blood draws. I cannot recommend her and the office more.

The person I spoke to was so patient and explained everything clearly to me and honestly I don't think patients calling in to figure out a bill is generally something they look at as a positive experience and most people would just want to avoid it all together however the experience I had with Tiffany T. was so wonderful to me. She took the time to help me understand the balance that I had and make it a completely positive call. I hope I never have to handle any more billing situations (this bill was my fault and not College Parks error) however if I do have to deal with it in the future, I hope I get the same person next time. She was such a joy and made this process completely painless. I'm sure this is the way she normally treats people who call in with billing concerns however I hope she knows it's the way she treated me as a human and made my experience wonderful that makes billing interactions less stressful. She is an asset to this company and I hope Tiffany knows it's these experiences that she provides to patients at College Park Family Care that keeps the patients loyal, at least for my family. Attempts to get clarification resulted in long delays, and when the doctor finally responded, he was dismissive and unprofessional, telling us "that's for you to figure out, not me." We have since switched providers, and our son tested positive for Flu B--an illness that can be serious in children if not properly evaluated. This experience showed a lack of urgency, professionalism, and thorough care. I would EXTREMELY! advise against Dr. Moore to any family. Would give 0 stars if I could.
