If you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant please do not go here. I have gone here for almost 20 years. On my last visit 2 months ago I told them I was planning on getting pregnant. My doctor, Dr. Schieber, said she would be there with me if I had any complications and I could call anytime with questions. Then I get pregnant and as soon as I find out Im pregnant I start to have bleeding, cramping, and in pain. I called this office and left a voicemail on the nurses line. After an hour I got nervous and called back and got the front desk person Tammy who said that I was no longer allowed to be seen there because I am had temporarily had medicaid and I had been doing cashpay but now that Im pregnant they will no longer see me and she referred me to another provider. This providers is booked weeks out so I requested to talk to my nurse about my bleeding cramping and pain and what I should do. This woman refused to let me speak to my nurse I asked her three separate times. Then she mocks me and says 'the nurse has already listened to your voicemail, you can leave another one if you want'. I asked to speak to my nurse a 4th time and Tammy sent me back to the voicemail. Tammy even stated the nurse had been there with her discussing my situation so its not that she's too busy to take my calls, they are literally there talking about me AND the nurse had got my voicemail about bleeding and cramping and still had not returned my call or get on the phone. I called back and got Becky (She is the only amazing person who works here) at this time I'm hysterical and crying that my OBGYN office is refusing to help me at all and I beg her to let me talk to my nurse because I dont know if Im having a miscarriage or what and I want to speak to my nurse. Sandra, Dr Schieber's nurse was extremely rude on the phone but she finally did tell me to go to the ER but only after saying things that contradicted everything my Dr and I had talked about so I asked to speak to my doctor and she refused then I asked to speak to the office manager Shelly which she did connect me to. Shelly and Tammy were the absolute worst. Shelly didnt see any issue with denying me access to health care by refusing to let me speak to my nurse or doctor and said that I could not afford to pay their cash price to be seen and that is their policy to not accept pregnant cash paying patients. I asked to speak to my doctor which she also refused. I told her my doctor said I can contact her, if she wont transfer me does she have a number I can call to leave a message? She makes fun of me for asking this question. The only thing she did offer was to speak to my doctor on my behalf but didnt even bother to ask what my concerns were or what I even wanted to ask. The absolute worst experience I have ever had at a doctors office.

Been to this hospital for emergency surgery and been in their psych ward. all of the nurses are…read morerude and disrespectful. even the doctors. they act like they're doing it for the paycheck not the health of the patients. they don't help when you need help the most. they're very slow when they say they will help you. or they'll just bluntly ignore you. they've lied about me overdosing and taking xanax. the psych ward is so dirty. gave me dinner while i was asleep and woke up with ants next to me. on my last morning there i saw a roach in the dining hall. i've had to do everything myself with no actual help from any doctor. would not ever recommend this hospital for anything if possible.

What I loved about SpiraCare-- 1) in the 3 years I used them, I NEVER had a billing issue (which I've had before and after using SpiraCare, since moving to Kansas, and is exhausting to resolve) 2) scheduling an appointment was easy, and I got to talk to a real human being. After leaving SpiraCare, I realized simply scheduling a preventative annual check-up needed to be done 3+ months in advance and (after leaving messages and playing phone tag) most providers in my network don't even accept new patients, ugh. 3) Blood drawn right there, immediately after appointment. It was super convenient, vs. at my new doctor I had to sit and wait like 30minutes before it was drawn, and had to pay them a $10 convenience fee for them to draw it and have it picked-up vs. me driving to a LabCorp facility separately. Since leaving SpiraCare I've become very acquainted with how jacked up healthcare is in this country, and supposedly my employer has good insurance???

I know of no other skin and vein clinic to compare to, but what I do know is that in the past few months I have seen results with those unsightly spiders that have been stuck on my legs for a while. The staff is friendly and also very knowledgeable. If someone doesn't know they answer they will go out of their way to get it. The doctors, both Fearon and Baker are both nice and personable. I was also impressed that they closed their clinic on Monday due to potential bad weather and road conditions, expressing great concern over the safety of their staff and patients. What more can I say? If you need any vein treatment I highly recommend them. I am aware that they also provide laser treatment procedures for hair, skin lesions and other cosmetic issues, which I am sure they are good for.
