Then we looked into Capitol Carpet & Tile and their reviews were all over the place and when we got quotes they were definitely on the higher side. Not that I would mind as long as it was done right with good quality carpet. Due to the fact their reviews were way too inconsistent, I decided to reach out to Ali at Giant Carpet & Flooring after seeing all the praise he has gotten on Yelp. After everything was all said and done, I know why he has such great reviews. I have nothing but great things to say. I am just so blown away about the whole experience from start to finish. When you call the company number, Ali (the owner) always answers. You text the number, Ali answers. He was so organized, professional, and got back to us in more than a timely manner when he promises he will call back. He answers you almost immediately via text and I have called him almost a half dozen times (if not more) throughout the process and I have never had to leave him a message. He always answers! LMAO I have never seen anything like it. His crew arrived exactly when he said they would. He said he does partake in the installation but I guess he didn't that specific day. It was on a Saturday. However, the installers still did an amazing job. The process was so damn smooth it was almost too smooth I thought LOL. I know we say nobody is perfect in life but I have never done a transaction with anything that was costly and tedious, be this smooth. Everything came out the way it was suppose to and how we wanted. Giant Carpet is professional, gets the job done right, organized, and extremely competitive if not better than most in terms of price in the area. My father-in-law said he paid way more than we did for his carpets in his 2 bedroom home and he emphasized how great of a price we got and how much better quality the carpet is compared to his. He was patient enough to let me make up my mind as I listened to other offers and compared quotes. And when I settled on Empire he immediately helped me schedule the installation. Getting the job done was flawless. Vanessa, who orchestrated the installation from Empire central, is quite good at keeping you informed, and maintaining the installed and me in constant contact as they made their way to my property for installation. They even called me when the installers picked up the materials to let me know they would soon be on the way to the property after another stop! The team in charge of the installation, led by Oscar Silvestre, was also incredibly profession, friendly, and knowledgeable. I called Empire Flooring's customer service three separate times throughout the day, desperate for an ETA or an update. Each call was an exercise in futility. The representatives, while polite, were utterly powerless. They admitted they could not get in touch with their own service technicians or dispatch. They couldn't even reach a service manager. Not once did anyone from Empire Flooring--not a technician, not a manager, not a dispatcher--have the basic decency to call me to inform me they were running late, to provide a new ETA, or to tell me they weren't coming. I was left in limbo for ten full hours, staring at my ruined floor and waiting by the phone like a fool. This is not just poor service; it is profoundly disrespectful and unprofessional. You have wasted my entire day, cost me money from my job, and shown zero regard for my time or my significant investment in your product.
