I had our first floor renovated in the house my grandparents bought in 1949. Underneath the dining…read moreroom and hallway carpet were the original floors made of Oak and Pine respectively. Floors I had never seen before until the renovation. The hallway floors also had tile on them which was underneath the carpet. Lucky all the floors were still in pretty good shape. My original kitchen contractor had pulled up the carpet and tile and sanded them. However, we parted ways before the job was done and I reached out to AC&T to do the floors because of their great reviews. It was true. Kevin amd his team are great! Kevin initially came out and looked at my floors, talked to me about what I wanted to do, made suggestions. The price for us was good and so we booked with them. We stayed in an airbnb for a few days while they worked on the floors because I was having them stained and we wouldn't be able to walk on them. The team came in and re-sanded all the floors including the steps and made them so much better. They also reinforced the steps and filled in any wood gaps all around. I was quite pleased with their work and would highly recommend to others. Kevin and his team are totally professional and get the job done.

My wife and I had an awful experience with Bradley. He was aggressive, rude, disrespectful and…read moreborderline racist towards us. I was frankly shocked at his repeated unprofessional and careless behavior throughout the time we dealt with him. He made my wife uncomfortable with his defensiveness and inability to take any negative feedback multiple times. I hired him to upgrade our bathroom shower walls in October 2025. Initially, when he tore down the tiles on the back wall in our shower and placed a grout in what was supposed to be the center of the wall, he did not take into account the top of portion of the wall. Therefore, the grout was not actually in the center, it was placed about 2 inches below the center. When we tried to talk to him about it, I was shocked at how defensive and unprofessional he was. Instead of apologizing for making a mistake, he gaslight us by making it seem as if the grout was placed in the center and we were in the wrong. Even though I was polite and respectful in pointing out the mistake, he refused to admit any wrongdoing. He was disrespectful throughout the conversation and threatened to abruptly cancel the rest of the project if we had an issue with the work he had done up until that point. The day before he completed the project, my wife asked him if he could extend the size of the grout free of charge given that he had made a mistake with its placement. He again refused to admit he made a mistake, got defensive and disrespectful. To make matters worse, he even implied that we weren't going to pay him because we are Indian. He doubled down on refusing to admit he made a mistake with the grout placement and again threatened to cancel the rest of the project. He also guilt tripped us by saying he is a single father and has to take care of his daughter again implying that we were not going to pay him. Even though he was extremely disrespectful, we paid him the full amount we owed on the day of completion. Unfortunately, the issues did not end there for us. After he completed the project, he did not inform us that he left our old shower tiles in our garbage bin in our garage. I found them myself two days later and had to pay $200 to have them removed by a debris collection company. To make things EVEN WORSE, two months after project completion I discovered that Bradley improperly installed the right-hand side of the shower door one inch too low (please see pictures). Therefore, the strip on the bottom of the door kept rubbing against the shower tub. Fast forward to May, half of the strip had torn off, and we were unable to close the door properly. I reached out to the shower door manufacturer (Dreamline) and a representative confirmed that the door was most likely improperly installed at the wrong height. A contractor quoted us $400 to reinstall the door at the correct height. I reached out to Bradley via text and whats app explaining the issue and asked him to resolve this professionally by giving us the $400 so we can get our shower door repaired. He did not respond and instead blocked my number. I will be taking him to small claims court and can hopefully resolve this there. If you are going to hire Bradley or anyone from Zobel Home Repair because of their lower cost, be careful. Ask for a contract or an agreement that lays out terms, pricing, etc and watch over everything he does every step of the way. Take a look at the pictures I uploaded, and you will get a better idea of how he installed the shower door improperly. After meeting Steve, there was an authenticity about him that none of the other contractors possessed. Every question that we asked him, he was up front, honest and listened intently to our wants and needs. After receiving many quotes, unfortunately then, we knew we had to save up before we could afford to have our kitchen done. Fast forward to the end of 2019 and we were ready to take the plunge! We knew that Steve was our guy. We gave him a call, he came back out several times to take measurements, design, etc. We had a start date of March 2020. Surprise... COVID! Everything was in limbo and we decided it was best to wait. Finally come August 3rd, 2020 Steve and his helper started demo work. Our final completion date was mid October. During construction time, I had two other friends getting their kitchens done as well. The horror stories they told me of their contractors being late, not being honest, charging more than what the contract stated, etc. had my husband and I feel like we hit the jackpot finding Steve. Many contractors now a days sub everything out and don't lift a finger. Not this guy! He is there every day, doing the work, and is passionate about his craft. He is meticulous and will not cut corners, leaving you a project that you are proud of. Steve is arguably the hardest working human my husband and I have ever met. When you hire Steve, you don't just get a contractor, you get a friend...that turns into family. My husband, my two children and I fell in love with Steve. He brought us joy daily during the two months he was with us and has become part of our extended family. We miss seeing him frequently, but now get to enjoy the work he did on our home daily. All of our friends and family that have walked into our home think we hired a high end contractor and designer for our project. We hired an expert handyman - the name says it all. Expert work at a fair price. Future customers, you can thank me later. ;)

Taariyq the owner came out for an estimate a few months ago, he was on time (despite a snow storm) and was quick with his communication. Ultimately we decided to go with Elite Flooring because of the price. Let me tell you the quality of job they do is worth every penny. They pay very close attention to all detail and work extremely hard to make sure the work is completed on time. These are the types of businesses you have no qualms about giving your business to. I know for a fact that I will be using them again for some future flooring work I need to get done around the house. If you are looking for flooring work, look no further than this place. How convenient and good timing. So I said okay and I wasn't going to work with them because the timing was suspicious. But I said that I would still work with them. So we scheduled another day. I received an email asking if they could come out on a specific day and I said yes but I guess I didn't respond that same day and that was a problem. The next email I got was a response with the another date almost two weeks later. I asked what happend to the earlier date and I was told the sales rep books up fast and they got booked and then the asked me if I wanted another sales rep and I said yes and asked what time could they make it. The final email the sent me said after checking they don't service my area. Like really?! I already gave them my address the first time we talked, and now y'all don't service my area? They were very professional, neat & personable. The 1st 2 pictures are of the old crappy Dura Ceramic flooring that was literally flaking up & the rest are pictures of the new floor. Just an FYI, I don't give rave reviews unless they are earned & these 2 definitely earned every exuberantly satisfied word.
