So my wife said she wanted to try someone local and contacted Tom from Restore Cleaning Solutions. From the minute she called Tom she knew she was in for amazing customer service. He was so attentive on the phone, and was actually able to come out within a few days to get the job done. When Tom arrived he explained exactly what procedure he was going to take. He then proceeded to do an incredible job. The carpets looked amazing when he was done, I never thought they could look that good again. My wife also was having issues with iron stains in our shower. She asked Tom if he had any tips for how to clean that, because she was never able to get rid of the heavy stain. Tom stopped everything he was doing, went and got a product out of his truck and then showed my wife how to use it. Next thing you know, a shower that had been stained for years was sparkling clean. Tom didn't even charge for that extra request, and seemed more than happy to help. When Tom was done, he left the house immaculate! My wife and I have dealt with a lot of contractors over the years, some good some bad. Tom falls into the rare category of A++ when it comes to dealing with a contractor that owns his business. He truly cares and seems to really enjoy what he does. In addition to all the other positives, Tom's rates are very reasonable. For example, I opted for a higher end look in my bathroom spaces, whereas I chose a more affordable solution in my living and dining room areas that are infrequently used. I also enjoy the flexible product offerings. Kepple's works with many manufacturers; often I will see something online and they will provide me with a sample even if it is not in their showroom. What I consider most important however is the relationship that I have built with the company. Sometimes unforeseen issues arise with any remodel regardless of the company. Kepple's has always addressed every one of my concerns with true fortitude and expedience. Remodeling your home or business can be hectic and challenging. They don't shave/cut bedroom and closet doors to fit once you have new carpeting installed. They had to know this would happen- I replaced cheap carpeting with new 1/4 in plywood, thick padding, and carpet. So my flooring looks great, but my house not so much since 3 closet and 2 bedroom doors are missing. Now it's up to me to find a contractor who will take care of this small problem (a big one for me- not safe to have no bedroom doors in case of fire).

I wanted to get some vinyl installed in my…read moreenclosed porch (a small project) and to discuss some repair options for in my living room and kitchen. Maurice came out very promptly after I contacted him and he straight-up told me that a patch-job wouldn't work inside my house. He explained the list of mistakes that were made during the original installation, which occurred before we moved in. He pointed out that not only did the builders choose the cheapest material possible, but they did not prepare the sub-floor adequately and now my flooring is cracking, disconnecting, and the surface is bumpy/rolling. Maurice gave me quotes for the porch project and to redo all of my main-level flooring. Both quotes were completely reasonable, but my husband and I opted to deal with the main floor issue when it's time for us to sell this house and move out. For now we just bought a super-large area rug! I did retain Maurice for the porch project, and since it was so small he was able to send Dale over on a day when someone else had cancelled. Dale arrived right when Maurice said he would, and the project took 3.5 hours total. I am impressed with the finished project and very pleased with Maurice's consistent communication and honesty. Anyone who's been through this kind of thing before knows that some folks just disappear (like someone who never followed-through and sent me the quote they promised) or others just tell you what you want to hear (like the guy who said he COULD patch my living room floor). When the time comes to replace our main floors, I would not hesitate to use Maurice again. He's a small-business owner, a man of color, and a veteran. We should make efforts to support these types of laborers, especially when they have great business practices! :)

New to the area, we wanted to shop local, so went in and spoke with Racheal on a mid morning on a Thursday, let her know the situation she helped me find a remnant carpet hoping it would be enough so material wouldn't have to be ordered which she did state could take 7-10 days. Wound up scheduling estimate AND taking measurements later that afternoon, contacted me immediately with price, and confirmed she could have installation completed that Saturday morning prior to the moving company delivering the rest of our furniture. Not only was she extremely accommodating, she was extremely understandable and friendly. Not only were we happy to know we were able to get the steps fully carpeted with the actual remnant, but even had a bit left over that was made into an entryway carpet which is now the favorite spot for our Greyhound Yeti.
