Hi I just want to clarify the exact size of picture needed for the visa application? i search online it shows different size everytim.…

Passport photo works fine and the cost is determined by what you are getting. They are very responsive to email questions.

My passport will expire on January 15 2019 and I'm leaving on September 20 2018 to Paris,do I need to renew first my passport?

It depends when are you returning

How many days to get a visa after the appointment and interviewed?

I received it in about 5 working days with a 2 days delivery fedex package.

I have submitted my visa application online and received the confirmation of deposit my application from the Consulate by email. However in the email they dont tell me the date and time for the my appointment. How can i get the appointment? Thanks

You have to make your appointment via their Vfs portal (it is on their website also, there you can select a month and date that is open and convenient for you. I just did mine, it's pretty convenient.

I need to apply for a visa in person. How do I make an appointment? Or can I just walk in at 9? I will be driving from riverside so I want to make sure I don't get turned away. Thanks

You cannot walk in. You must have an appointment. They can be made online.

Where can I park my car if I have an appointment?and can I pay the fee in $ or only in €?

They have a parking garage that will accept cards not cash. There are also Parking Meters on the street that are less expensive and often already have time available on them. You will not be in the office for more than an hour, so a couple quarters…

If I am a US citizen, do I need to apply for a Visa? If I do, can I apply online or I have to apply in person at the office?…

It depends on how long your going for. If your just going for vacation you don't need to get one. If your staying for a little while yes you do. There is a email address for the consulate in La in their web site and they are really amazing at…

Overall, a very solid stay at Embassy Suites LAX…read more The rooms were clean and comfortable. The complimentary room snacks and perks were a fantastic, thoughtful touch that we really enjoyed as well as free self srrve breakfast. My only real complaint is the steep parking situation--paying nearly $70 a night on top of the room rate felt excessive If they adjusted the parking fee, it would easily be a five-star stay, but it's still a convenient and nice place to crash near the airport.

Having travelled extensively over the past 40 years, I can say this particular Embassy Suites sets…read morethe benchmark for the most disappointing Hilton brand experience I have ever had. Embassy Suites has been my brand of choice for longer stays, especially with family. This hotel disappointed on almost every key point. It started with the online check-in that really wasn't. Once I arrived the app that I checked in with would not give me my key. It said I had to visit the front desk, which resulted in a wait in line and a full blown normal check-in. The room was average, but the metal-wire soap & shampoo holder broken and when asked we were told they did not have replacements. Our vanity light blew while we were there. It was repaired quickly. Embassy Suites has an evening reception from 5-9. While checking in we were given 2 slips for a complimentary drink. Very basic snacks were also available; chips & salsa, crackers, trail mix, and carrots. Wealthy guests could order food through a kiosk at typical room service prices. To me cleanliness is a given expectation, and this hotel met minimum standards. They definitely could have vacuumed the common areas on a routine basis, but we did not see any evidence of this. They also could do a better job of keeping the grounds clean. Debris was evident most days in the employee parking area. This, to me, indicates an attitude of mediocrity among the staff. Lastly, I will address what most embassy suites excel at, the breakfast. Cost cutting and mediocrity permeated the entire breakfast experience. I'll start with the cooked to order eggs. This Embassy suites only offers omelets- even though they have and use eggs in the shells to make the omelets, they refuse to make sunny side, easy over, or egg whites - and we asked and were tersely denied. The other breakfast offerings were equally poorly represented. Fruit, for example was limited to Motel 6 quality anemic apples and oranges. No cut fruit, no granola, no regular salsa for the omelets. A big thing that stood out at this Embassy breakfast was the lack of a manager roaming the area checking stock and helping the staff to make sure the guests were able to get everything they wanted. This became evident when the orange juice ran out, and later the yogurt ran out. If you want yogurt, hopefully you like vanilla because they usually only have this flavor available. They sometimes have strawberry banana, but it runs out quickly. All-in-all, I do not recommend this Embassy Suites, and unless the whole brand has degraded significantly, this particular one hurts the image of the brand. If I were an undercover boss, I would send the entire management team back to training while bringing in a rehabilitation team to get it back up to corporate standards.

Loved having the separate living room and mini fridge, as well as having not one, but THREE different sinks. Much needed when you have four women sharing a room together. The breakfast in the morning was solid. Lots of options and the different drink options were completely free too! The pool was kind of on the small side and there were only like two lounge chairs which were always taken, so we didn't even try to visit the pool. However, the vibe of the entire first floor/lobby/bar area made up for it. The layout of this place is so aesthetically pleasing. You'll see what I'm talking about in the photos I attached. The staff were always super helpful and friendly. It was super easy pulling in and out of the parking garage whenever we left/returned. My only gripe was the $48 a day for parking. That is A LOT even for LA standards, but you are super close to the airport I guess.

I also liked the underground parking for security and convenient access to the hotel late at night. The rooms were clean and updated and the lobby and halls were luxuriously decorated as well. Along with the competitive pricing for rooms, the hotel offers a social hour with complimentary drinks and light snacks. This along with the amazing complimentary breakfast really sets this hotel apart from the others in the area. I have never seen a complimentary breakfast that offered as much as this one. They offer a custom omelet bar along with a buffet of other hot breakfast foods, oatmeal, fruit, cereals and breads and a variety of pastries. Unfortunately, my most recent stay was extremely disappointing. There were several maintenance and cleanliness issues throughout my stay. The bathroom conditioner dispenser was not properly secured to the wall and repeatedly fell off during the night. Although it was supposedly fixed, the same issue happened multiple times. The coffee machine was also not cleaned properly. It still contained old black residue left behind by a previous guest, and I had to request a replacement. The worst issue was the bathroom. There was a strong sewage odor that made it feel like we were next to a sewer. I reported it to the front desk, but despite informing them, the problem was never resolved during our stay. To make matters worse, when I received my final bill, I was charged $3 for a bottle of water that I had used to rinse the dirty coffee machine because it was unusable as provided. What disappointed me the most was the lack of management involvement. Despite all of these issues, the General Manager never reached out to acknowledge the poor experience. A simple concern for the guest's experience would have gone a long way. I have always enjoyed staying at Hilton properties, which is why this experience was so surprising. I hope management takes guest feedback more seriously and provides additional customer service training to ensure situations like this are handled much better in the future.

Everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly and welcoming, from the front desk staff to the restaurant team and the housekeeping staff. The made to order omelets were absolutely delicious. I wish I had gotten the chef's name so I could thank them personally. They did an amazing job. The only downside was that the hot tub wasn't working, but hopefully it'll be up and running the next time we're in town because we'd love to enjoy it. Unfortunately, it's another poorly managed franchise that does nothing but hurt the Hilton brand. Check-in took nearly 2 hours. My original room still wasn't ready at 5:00 PM, so I was moved to a different room. The moment I walked in, I was hit with a strong odor of dirty, moldy socks. The HVAC air filter looked like it hadn't been changed in ages. I was then moved to a second room, but only after waiting another hour while staff inspected it at my request to make sure it didn't have the same issues. Sadly, the second room was just as disappointing. While it didn't smell as bad, it had numerous maintenance issues and visible damage that made me question how it was ever cleared for a guest. The only positive part of this experience was the front desk staff. They were friendly, courteous, and genuinely tried to help. My frustration is directed at the ownership and management for allowing the property to deteriorate to this level. Hilton should hold franchise owners to a much higher standard.

When you're dealing with any government agency I find it best to be prepared. Understand the…read moreprocess and what is needed, especially what docs you need to present. With AI technology quickly becoming more prevalent many government agencies are not allowing walk ins except for certain cases. You will be required to make an appointment. We found this to be true with the Consulate here. In the state of California there are only 2 locations. The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea can be found in San Francisco and Los Angeles. The San Francisco office also consuls over Colorado, Utah and Wyoming while the Los Angeles office includes Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico. We needed to renew a Korean passport. After visiting the website we found the steps fairly easy to follow. For any other office it is best to check their own respective websites. The steps are not standard and can be entirely different. We made an online appointment through the 365 Overseas Korean Portal. The appointment was 1.5 weeks away. I thought it would be much further out but thankful for the shorter time. You then need to fill out their form and submit that. It's basic information and what it is you're trying to do. Simple. With that set we went through the steps again to make sure we had the proper documents needed. In this case your Korean passport a valid U.S. passport/Green Card/Visa. You also need your Driver's License and work permits. They wanted photo copies. Luckily they have a copy machine there for 25cents a copy. Not bad just remember to bring quarters. You will also need a passport size photo taken by a professional. This part use to erq me. If you don't have that, this consulate has a photo booth on the premises for you to take that photo. And it's free of charge. When you sit in the booth it tells you what to do. Tilt your head up, turn to the left, etc. It was great. This office only accepts cash, and had to be the exact amount. Found that strange. Not sure if that's true for all the others and is best to check those websites. The good thing is this office has a change machine. It's best to figure what fees you need to pay, and what the total is so you know what the exact amount is. We brought this with us and extra cash in case there would be something surprisingly we would have to pay for. That didn't happen. It also adivses to bring a self addressed express mail envelope for them to mail your passport . In our case, however, that option was not available.. How that was going to be handled would have to wait till the appointment. Right next to the consulate is a parking lot. It is not free unless you have an appointment with the consulate and you get your ticket validated. Fulfill those 2 requirements and your parking is free. If not be prepared to pop some twenties. Not sure if they give change. It is also important to note this office closes at noon to break for lunch. So, plan your visits accordingly or you could be waiting longer than you like. Our appointment was at 11:00 to 11:30. We got there at 11:11 on a Wednesday. Once you're in there you need to make the copies you need. We did. Get your photo. We did and it was actually fun. Then, you can take a number to be qued. There were 4 people before us not all were renewing passports. And only 2 tellers. The reviews talk badly about teller #2. She was not there. And they talked sweetly of number 7. He was not there either. When our number was called I was surprised we waited only 26 minutes. We presented our documents and stated what my wife needed. The agent started going through the paper work, clattering away filling in digital forms and documents and glancing at other references to ensure she was doing everything correctly. And in 9 minutes it was done. She said everything was good and needed to return on a specific date to pick up the passport. If we cannot pick it up that day, we could pick it up any other day they are open. We would not need to stand in line just go to the front teller to request it and it would be there. I guess the brown bag of food was not needed. This whole process may seem confusing and frustrating but in taking the time to review it was easier than expected. The steps\instructions were very clear. The copy machine, change machine and photo booth were big pluses. The agents were nice and pleasant. Why can't they all be like this?

The room was reserved for 9am-4pm. Check-in was not as welcoming as I would expect. The person who checked us in wasn't rude or anything, she just seemed very uninterested in helping me. She didn't bother to explain to me what room we were in, how to find it, point us to the elevators. Just, "Here are your keys." She was going through the motions. I had questions about parking and her response was, "I dunno. I need to ask my boss," with no offer to actually ask and follow up. Maybe our early check-in threw off her morning routine. But if day rooms are a service offered, then staff should treat folks who pay for one like guests. The room itself was spacious and clean--we really liked our room. One of the elevators was out of order, and as a rule, each car only holds 6 people. The lobby had plenty of cozy spaces to get work done or just chill. The gym is quite small, with 3 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, and a basic set of weights. The AC in there wasn't working (in July) and the water dispenser was empty (I repeat, in July). Sure, I could've purchased water in the lobby, but I was annoyed and didn't want to give them more money for water. Instead, we chose to go on a quick snack and water run to 7-eleven. The indoor pool was nice and empty when we used it. I wish the fans in there were quieter so my family and I could hear each other talking. The towel stations needed attention. There were only 4 towels available and one of them was stained. I imagine this would be taken care of after most guests check out at 11. But if a hotel offers day rooms, they should be ready to provide pool towels. I'll still come back. As other reviewers have mentioned, this is an older hotel, but it's decent for the price. It's also in a great location, right next to The Derby and adjacent to so many restaurants and take-out spots. Overall, my family enjoyed our daycation at Embassy Suites. I hope the hotel will tend to the little details that make a stay pleasant for future guests.

With a daily maximum of $46, it's straight out robbery. And the fact they provide no validation parking for people who are basically forced to come here; it's not like we want to come here for fun. So don't even think about parking here if you need to fill out an application. I knew this beforehand, so I decided to walk miles here instead. I also did the application online for more convenience (not having to visit this place twice), but their integration with their app can also be confusing and finicky to use. Also see picture of the toilet I get being short handed is not fun or whatever excuse but the toilet handle ? Luckily I carry Clorox wipes . After arriving late , late check in, unloading a car and a very tired child I just did not want to switch rooms. Will I come back, perhaps. Carpets are very stained and warn out . I saw plates / bowls the sitting for two days by peoples doors never picked up, very weird .

Disappointed , expected more from Hilton brand. Overly crowded. Indoor pool very small and with…read morecrowd of kids. Outdoor pool with small hot tub and again, overly crowded. Small fitness center with treadmill, eliptical, bicycle and weights. Sad selection of evening reception food. Chatted with customer service at 230 pm prior to arrival and received a pushback of hotel room digital key. I am a loyal Hilton member, what's the point of being a Gold member if the customer service as lowsy as motels and had to wait in line for checking in. Ordered extra bed, $20 a night, waited for two and half hour and still not delivered. Clogged shower with water pooling. Annoying Hilton employee walking around hotel lobby during evening reception soliciting to buy Grand Vacations making relaxing, reading my book impossible. Ordered burger and took 30 min for food to come out and my son was the only one ordering. Next day we went for breakfast, long line for made to order breakfast. Yogurt left out in a bowl with no cover. It was okay. Fitness and pools are empty since it is morning. So thats a plus. Hopefully finally it turns to be a better stay today.
