Burger and fries from the bar
    Art E.

Stopped at the bar and had the most delicious burgers. It was with crispy lettuce, bacon, cheese, and has perfectly cooked French Fries. Just loved it. For breakfast, I had the buffet eggs, sausage, and sweet potatoes. It all hit the spot perfectly. They serve good food here. I will definitely return

The Embassy Suites in Arcadia is an older hotel with friendly staff, but its elevators are a major drawback. I stayed here for a two-night stay because my parents are elderly and thought it would be convenient. Unfortunately, the elevators were not functional. At one point, only one elevator worked, and all the guests knew about the issue. Despite a sign stating, "Our elevators prefer 6 or less people," guests were aggressively trying to get in, even when the hotel was at full capacity. When we were trying to catch our flight, everyone was packed in the elevators, and I tried to ask a group of people if they could allow my parents to get in. They refused, saying they were all filled up. I insisted and pushed my parents in, which got very aggressive and uncomfortable. If you're staying here, pack your patience and get a room on the ground floor to avoid dealing with the elevator issue. Another downside was the beds. They were a bit too soft, and even the hide-a-bed was worn out and didn't provide any firmness. This caused back pain the next day. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was decent, and the coffee was better than I expected. The staff in the kitchen were also kind and accommodating.

Two of four elevators were closed and no one working on them from Monday to Saturday. Front desk just shrugged.

Older hotel with not enough budget to do things as well as the newer hotels under the same branch. I am specifically comparing to Sacremento's on the river with actual valet, actual napkins with the logo, a better omelette chef, softer beds, larger space in the modern lobby, larger hotel rooms, more gym equipment, warmer pool, walkable to old downtown. I was literally was just in the other hotel the night before, and this place pales in quality. Only things going for this place are the nice employees, the quick turnaround with changing sheets and towels, and location in arcadia. I do come back, because of proximity to places i often revisit, but the broken and no effort to fix elevators made me write a review that would have been 3 stars at least before.

We stayed at this Embassy Suites Friday and Saturday night, and unfortunately this was one of the worst hotel experiences we've had. To start, our room was not even ready at the advertised 4:00 PM check-in time. Once we finally got into the room, the condition of it was unacceptable. The furniture was visibly stained and so dirty that we did not feel comfortable even sitting on the chairs. I have photos documenting the condition of the room. The worst part was finding two cockroaches in our room. After finding the second one, we had to pack up our belongings and switch rooms at approximately 12:30 AM on Saturday night. Having to relocate rooms in the middle of the night because of a pest issue is completely unacceptable. The replacement room was also not equivalent to the room we had booked. Instead, we were given a room with one bed and a pullout couch--and the pullout couch was once again extremely dirty and heavily stained. At that point, we had already spent one night in a filthy room with cockroaches and then had our second night disrupted by being forced to move rooms after midnight, only to be placed in another room with visibly dirty furniture. The hotel refunded one night, but I requested that both nights be refunded given the circumstances. They refused. I do not think asking for a full refund for a two-night stay is unreasonable when neither night provided the clean, sanitary accommodations we paid for. One night was spent in a room where we found cockroaches, and the other was interrupted at 12:30 AM because we had to relocate due to those conditions. I understand that problems can happen at any hotel, but cleanliness, pest control, and providing a sanitary place to sleep are basic expectations. The way this was ultimately handled did not adequately reflect the severity of the experience. I would not recommend staying here, and I would strongly suggest checking your room and furniture carefully upon arrival.

The outside aesthetic of this hotel was really nice. I will say I was very surprised by the motel vibe it gave me from having all the doors to the rooms facing the center of the room. Compared to the actual room, it felt like a bit of a let down. Although the room was very spacious, the bathroom was tiny and the room wasn't that clean. But, the breakfast was really good with a lot of options plus an omelet station which is usually enough to win me over.

This Embassy Suite is located within the downtown area of Arcadia. I came here for an event called the Regional SoCal Collectible Show that was hosted in the Titanium room. There's parking around the hotel property, but it just wasn't enough for the event. I parked a few blocks away and walked over. When I entered the hotel, I was kindly greeted by the front desk and the lovely center area of the hotel - it was filled with greenery, sunlight, and seating. The front desk kindly showed me where to go for the event, a gesture I appreciate. The Titanium room is nicely sized and fit many rows of tables/booths so the sellers ready to sell, buy, or trade collectible cards. It seems to be a great space for mid sized conferences in general. Outside, they had waters. There's also an option to order meals from the hotel as well for the day of the event. Overall, I had a fantastic time at the event and I thought Embassy Suite did a great job allowing the space for it to happen.

I'm local to Arcadia, and have passed by this hotel so many times. It looks great from the outside and is less than 10 minutes from my boys school, so when my bathroom remodel started, I thought this would be the perfect place to stay while work at our house was being done. While it looks nice from the outside, inside is a whole different story. It is an older hotel that looks and feels like an atrium inside. Torn carpet, cracked walls, large dogs fighting in the common area (did I mention it's pet friendly?) just a super weird vibe. Got to the room after a long day and my boys wanted to shower and go to bed in order to be ready for their football practice the following morning. I began unloading our toiletries in the restroom when I notice black mold. It was everywhere. I immediately went downstairs to tell the front desk, and Chris was amazing and contacted his supervisor right away. We were offered another room on a lower floor. After about 25 minutes, our room was ready and we went downstairs. The elevator took about five minutes and I have no idea why. Nobody was in it! It's a glass elevator, so you can see it going up and down. It just sat there on the bottom floor forever! As soon as those elevator doors opened on the 2nd floor we were hit with an overwhelming smell of marijuana and two older teens looking at us like they just took the gnarliest bong rip ever before the elevator doors opened. Ugg. They were accompanied by the hotel supervisor, who escorted them into the elevator. We got to our room and the door was stuck, it was also dented in as though someone kicked it repeatedly to open it. The room absolutely reeked like someone had just smoked and covered it up with an industrial size Febreeze bomb. The back window was also wide open as though someone was intentionally trying to air it out. Were those two stoners at the elevator being escorted out of that room so we could have it?? No idea. It was super sketchy. Inspected the room before even taking our bags off the luggage cart and, no. Drain flies on the restroom wall, more black mold, and a bonus dog treat near the bed! We checked out immediately, and at this point, I'm just hoping to get my money back because we didn't even stay one night! They tried to make it right, but with conditions like this, you can only do so much unfortunately. Found myself at home washing my hair in a salad bowl at midnight.

My family stays at this location for years when we visit Universal Studios or the 626 Night Market . We came here for the spring break . Only 30 minutes away from Universal Studios. The front desk was very nice and friendly. They were quick to respond to our questions and needs. The rooms are clean, a little smaller compared to the Anaheim location. We like the chill vibes here. Not crowded or busy. Indoor pools and jacuzzi is a plus. There's a lot of parking available and Starbucks is across the street. Very accessible to Sta. Anita Mall and other stores. Very convenient! Would come back again!

The bath tub! I could of cut my foot on this

I always select Embassy Suited because of the spacious rooms and a variety of breakfast selections. The room was spacious but there were stains on the cushion. Then the tub was horrible! I could of really hurt myself . The staff was all friendly with the exception of Stacey from the front desk. Who really needs to smile and listen to the customer. Her condescending tone did not help. Kudos to the maids, who all said good morning and hello every day. Also the breakfast crew! They were not as happy as the maids but they were busy cleaning off the tables and plates

You can go there for business and/or pleasure. I didn't have a reservation and walked in w/out one. Christopher at the front desk said that they had few rooms available and he can check me in right away. Had to run to the restroom in their lovely lobby very fast before taking care of business. Let's not forget that they welcome you with 2 warm, fresh Chocolate Chip cookies. I had to meet up with a client to discuss her wedding plans so that was the main reason that I was there this past weekend. February 28th, & March 1st. Checked out on the 2nd of March. Walked in to my room on the 7th floor #708 & later was moved to #718. I was planning to give this hotel 4 stars based on what happened in the 1st room, but since everything else went flawlessly from the restaurant, to the pool, jacuzzi, shower, etc... I will give them 5 solid stars for the employees going above & beyond for your comfort. They genuinely cared for your stay and the hospitality was just FANTASTIC in every way, on every level!!! Everybody was very helpful, nice, and caring. Both rooms that I stayed in were SUPER CLEAN, comfortable bed, sheets, towels, were crisp, and clean too. Pillows were also comfortable. Not too soft & not too firm. I had a minor or I should say a big hiccup the 1st room that I had stayed. Around 3:15am I hear this ugly, loud noise/sound coming from the bathroom. I couldn't figure out what the problem was and was keeping me awake. Plumbing problem with the toilet. Called the front desk and Simon who was working the graveyard shift refused to come up to check it out. Instead he sent the security guard by the name of William. That was not William's job. He somehow came to figure out what seemed to be the problem and long story short he helped me move my stuff to the next room down the hall. Both rooms had the following amenities:gym, meeting rooms, pool, with 4 cabanas, small store that had snacks, bottled drinks, cookies and other handy stuff. Restaurant, bar, small fridge, microwave, a safe, big closet with lots of drawers, blow dryer, shower, TV, phone, an iron, etc.. At the time of the checkout, I brought the problem that I had with the toilet and Laura, one of their managers went down on the price which was a very nice gesture coming from her. Also, I used my AAA discount towards my room. AAA always comes very handy! Ate at the restaurant twice during my stay and that's all I can say about this lovely, beautiful, comfortable hotel. Special thanks to Jaydon, the server that I had in the restaurant, gave me an exceptional service! William, the security guard, and the rest of the staff who helped me! Will definitely return next time I need some ME time or if it's work related. There are a lot of nice close by eateries all around. Has a HUGE parking lot, multiple restrooms in the lobby. Very clean, and that's all I can say for now. Thank you all!:-)

Walked into the room and everything was just super comfortable. My window was facing the beautiful mountains. Had way too many restaurants within walking distance. Amenities are: big TV that actually had my name on it, welcoming me into the hotel, mini fridge, I asked for a microwave(upon request), and by the time I came back from dinner, the microwave was already there. King size bed, standard size couch with a small round table and a leg rest. Big closet along with lots of drawers, and iron/ironing board, a laundry facility on the 2nd floor, the Bistro restaurant that kind of had weird hours. I'll get to that in a minute. Inside the lobby, around the pool and jacuzzi area, had a mini market with a lot of late night snacks from Ramen, Chips, Cookies, Frozen Food, Beverages and also a microwave for their guests. It had a Banquet hall and also a couple of meeting rooms. The entire hotel along with the lobbies, were super clean. Had a blow dryer, clean, crisp towels in the bathroom and the cutest shower curtain that I have ever seen inside a hotel's restroom. It looked like a bridal dress from the 50's 60's era. That cute. Presure of the water was not that good. Understandable, they are conserving water. Restaurant was fairly a large size with great people working there with FANTASTIC HOSPITALITY. They also had a small menu to choose from. Had breakfast and dinner.Ate there twice. Great, affordable prices. Also for Starbucks lovers, they have coffee. They don't have room service which was ok with me, you place your order on your app, or on the phone, go downstairs and pick it up. Special thanks to Meg, one of the most cheerful, upbeat, full of love and energy who works in the restaurant. Rosie was nice too. Bed, pillows, sheets were very comfortable.A/C was working perfectly. They also had a desk and a chair. Tried both their unique pools, and the jacuzzi. Both very clean and everything was SUBLIME!!! I explained that I did not use the water and that it was still there when I checked out. I also shared that I have a photo, as I make it a habit to record a video of the room upon departure for my records. I was then asked to provide a photo with a clearly visible date and time stamp so it could be forwarded to a manager for review. Given the amount of money I have spent with Hilton, it is disappointing to feel as though my honesty is being questioned over such a minor charge. This is not about the $5.00--it is about the principle. I am being charged for something I did not use. If that level of proof is required from guests, it would only be fair for the hotel to provide similar documentation showing the item was missing upon my departure. That expectation would clearly be unreasonable, which is exactly my point. I was told a manager would contact me directly, but I have not received any follow-up. I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service, accountability, and respect shown in this situation. If you want to tour the hotel, follow Craig Owens of Haunted by History on Instagram (@bizarre_los_angeles) as he gives tours here. I believe he's taking a break currently but if you get a chance, his tours are excellent and very thorough (he has participated in multiple paranormal investigations here, researched the hotel thoroughly for years, and spent several nights in its rooms). A fascinating piece of history (listed on the National Register of Historic Places). The 44-room hotel opened in 1925 (before the creation of Route 66). It was designed by architect Robert Stacy-Judd in the Mayan revival style (but named the Aztec because it was thought this would be more familiar to the public). The hotel was not particularly successful and went through various phases, including rumors of being a speakeasy and a brothel. It was a bit of a notorious spot for a while, with shady characters occupying its rooms. I was told that 11 people have died here which may not be a particularly high number for such an old hotel. Nonetheless, there are claims of hauntings and tales of paranormal activity. Either way, it's a super fascinating and aesthetically marvelous place!
