We stayed in the Hula Tower which was convenient to the pool and breakfast area. We valeted a car which was bout $60 per day and had in and out privileges. The valet staff was always kind and gracious. My child enjoyed the pool and made friends in the pool. Great stay and will definitely recommend! Tip: Read the entire handout that you get when you check in. There are yoga classes, discounts, etc. that are available to you.

There was a leaking bathroom faucet, a chipped sink, rust and water damage around the bathroom door, dark buildup around the shower fixture, heavily stained blackout curtains, visible dust and debris under the bed and dark spotting inside the bathroom vanity where clean towels were stored. The room also had numerous scuffs, patched walls and signs of deferred maintenance throughout. The location and staff saved the stay, but the condition of the room fell well below the standard I'd expect from this brand, especially at this price point.

The location? It's great because it is literally beach front; however, it is on the southern most edge part of that beach area. This means that the beach right outside is jam packed with tourists coming and going and you would have to walk a decent ways up the beach to find a spot. Regardless, a beach front is a beach front so it's nice to get down there quick and enjoy the beach. The hotel is in a great spot in Waikiki because there are tons and tons of shopping stores and food areas within a 15 minute walk so you never really have to drive out. Monkey Pod restaurant down below has great reviews and is delicious, but I personally think their menu is quite small. They also have a pool side bar/cafe that serves drinks, snacks, and meals and is a secondary pool-side restaurant. They play music down there every night. It's very calm, quaint, and peaceful to enjoy a night in the hotel. Unfortunately, the prices of their drinks are ridiculously overpriced. $17 for a Mai Thai not including tip. Insane. The room? I would say pretty average for any decent hotel. It was clean, the bed was good, the pillows were nice and big. The balcony is small, but can sit two people to enjoy the outside. The down side is the rooms of the two towers of the hotel face each other. So you don't get a beach front view unless you pay the big extra for those rooms. My biggest gripe about the room was the shower. The whole 7 days the water would change from warm, hot, very hot, rinse and repeat every few seconds. The price? Very expensive, but that's the price you pay for a beach front hotel PLUS it being on Waikiki beach. There's probably not big deals/sales unless you buy it through Costco Travel which is what I did which saves you probably a couple hundred at the very least. Valet is automatically included which is another 60 per night (not including whatever few bucks you tip them whenever you go out) so this would easily rack up your bill. I'd say the closest free parking is at least a 20 minute walk one way. Despite my rating the hotel a 4/5, would I recommend this spot? It depends. If you are a newcomer to Oahu and want to experience the casual, tourist experience of Oahu, want that beach front hotel, and have the cash, I would recommend this. If you are not a newcomer, there are many other hotels that will suit many other tastes. And honestly, staying at any other hotel outside of Waikiki is probably best if you want to really save on money and see better beaches.

I worked incredibly hard to bring my family to Hawaii, and I am extremely disappointed that so much of our time at Hilton Hawaiian Village was spent dealing with problems that should never have become our responsibility. Over three nights, we experienced two separate water leaks and repeated hot-water issues. These weren't minor inconveniences--they significantly disrupted our family vacation. The worst night, I slept approximately two hours. With water leaking into our room, I chose to stay awake and deal with the situation myself because I didn't want maintenance repeatedly coming into the room and waking my 1-year-old and 3-year-old children. Instead of resting and enjoying the next day with my family, I was exhausted because I had essentially spent the night protecting my children's sleep while dealing with the hotel's maintenance problem. That is unacceptable at a resort of this caliber. Management eventually provided compensation, and I appreciate that they acknowledged the situation. However, I absolutely do not believe the compensation matched the severity of what we experienced. I didn't work all year and spend thousands of dollars bringing my family to Hawaii to spend a significant portion of our vacation calling guest services, dealing with leaks, worrying about hot water, and effectively helping manage Hilton's property. Money can be refunded. Vacation time with my children cannot. For the price and reputation of this resort, our experience fell dramatically below what any family should reasonably expect.

The Korean Consulate General provides assistance with passport and VISAs to Korea. Please feel free to contact them for more information! Hours of Operation are Mondays to Fridays, 8:30am to 4pm. Check In is 3 PM and Check Out is 11 AM & we checked in a tad later maybe around 5-5:30 PM. Overall, I shared 2 nights with a friend and we were able to split the payment between our 2 cards thanks to the Front Desk. I paid probably $221 for my share of the 2 nights which was pretty reasonable for Hawaii. They gave us a $5 credit for drinks/snacks at The Market (which we didn't have time to take advantage of) and a small Hilton bag with 2 bottles of water. The room was surprisingly pretty spacious for the Double Queen Beds, a TV, mini fridge, desk station, comfy couch, and closet. I'm usually one not to sleep well in hotels but I was exhausted from my first Oahu day and slept real good for the 2 nights! It wasn't extremely cold too, it felt like a nice 72-73 degrees. The Breakfast Bar (aka buffet) was included and opens at 6:30 AM and ends 9:30 AM Monday-Friday and at 10 AM on Saturday and Sunday. It was located on the 3rd floor where the pool is located and quite windy. There was a good selection of cereal, toast, bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, pineapple, granola, hot food station (which had Scrambled Eggs, Portuguese Sausage, Pork Link Sausage, House Potatoes, Waffles, etc.) and my absolute favorite, hot rice and Miso Soup! There was Apple and Orange Juice and a nice selection of Hot Tea and Coffee which you can take to go as well. Downside was parking was $62+/overnight. My friend found a parking structure nearby of walking distance which charged only $45/night so we saved a bit especially with renting a Tesla (the closest Tesla Supercharging Station would be the International Market Place-Target Parking Structure on the 4th floor on the left FYI). Overall the Hyatt was welcoming but because it was summer, prepare for lots of families and some wait time with elevators. There was a Domino's Pizza downstairs if you have some mid night munchies lol!

Literally dreaming of it, I loved all of the variety. We stayed a week, so it changes a bit every day. They typically have eggs, then a protein, like chicken, bacon, sausage, and Portuguese sausage, then a carb, like French toast, pancakes, waffles, and oven roasted sweet potatoes, or they have Jimmy Dean sandos. They always have miso soup and pineapples, granola, and yogurt, cereals, breads, coffee and juice. I work hard all year, I deserve a week of breakfast served to me. The room was in the perfect spot this time. We had the third floor next to the breakfast, pool, gym, and elevators. The room was so large and spacious and I loved the shower. The shower products were amazing. They had shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower. I also appreciate the nice fridge and safe in the room. I also love their metal reusable water bottle and the amazing water filtration system and so many refillable stations. It saved my from dehydration. Being in Vegas a couple years ago, they had no fridge, no free water, and not many places to get a glass of water, and I paid heavily with being sick. Hawaii takes this seriously and I think serves as an example for other places that hosts tourists that engage in outdoor activities. I wish other regular businesses also had these systems. I am a person that always takes a water bottle in my car, so this was a nice perk of the hotel. We also love their beach supplies. Every beach day we got a couple chairs, a couple boogie boards, and some towels, and also in my opinion, this is my favorite spot to beach. I like the calm walled area, whereas the husband and kids love the other side with the rougher waves, and they are steps away from each other so we don't have to hike a mile to get to our favorite beach spots. We also like the food spot and nice tables and chairs. My child had been dreaming of trying the lava cake and also had a peanut butter cookie. With the credits we also got a couple sodas to have with meals. The staff could not be any nicer. I did apologize when they stopped by to help with the room, I had tried to get most of the sand off the bathroom floor (I know they know we are at the beach) but of course they helped me sweep up the rest. The people at the front are also great and have accommodated us with everything. I like how they have a microwave, napkins, and tableware for meals in the lobby. The room was comfortable, had a great lanai, mini fridge, nice shower with super hot water! I booked a two Queen City view and was upgraded to a higher floor but it only had one bed. My husband and I had our two young kids so I asked the front desk if they could bring a cot for the kids. We really enjoyed the pool deck, the pool is great sized and shallow, it's 4 feet throughout. They have a small jacuzzi. There's a bar that serves food but closes at sunset. My kids loved the mini golf!! It is a legit course. There was also a large connect 4 game. And the fire pits were so nice at night. We watched the Magic show in the hotel which was excellent! We checked out the bar Casamigos on the 37th floor for a drink and it was cool, with live music. Hotel location is great, lots of shopping and restaurants and beach within 5 minutes from hotel. We would totally stay here again.

You can tell the place is a bit dated; but they have done a good job of refurbing it. We were upgraded a notch for being Lifetime Diamond, which was a nice start. As an aside, I was fine with paying the $93 a day for valet parking; noting it's pretty tightly packed in there, so to me it was worth it versus the $70-some regular parking fee. All hotel personnel were very polite, helpful, and fast at their jobs. Beach is maybe 150 yards away; pool(s) are in-between. The pool bar was happening and they served drinks strong. The Tapa Bar was nice as well. Be prepared for somewhat high prices; but this is Waikiki so I get it. Two downsides, neither of which was all that bad. The AC in the front room went out about half-way through our stay; noting the unit in the bedroom did a passable job of keeping the whole place somewhat cool. I will say we returned to the room at Tuesday around 3pm or so. The room had a pretty bad odor of sewer gas. We opened the windows; and filled all sinks and the bath-tub with water, with the drain closed, and then flushed the two toilets for good measure. The room cleared out within 20 minutes and while we left the sinks and bathtub full until the next AM (which might have done the trick).... Well, all I can say is we remedied the situation on our own. The next party to stay in that room might scream Bloody Murder.

Filter water station available in the lobby for your water bottle. There's also luggage holding available which is nice for late flights. Parking was expensive. They were doing renovations so they said there may not be parking available for everyone in the garage. So if you paid for the day ($40) of you came back you were guaranteed a spot. There's cheaper parking in the area especially around the harbor area. I'd recommend another parking spot if renting a vehicle. We found a garage for $25 a day but it was a 10 min walk away. Breakfast is not included in your stay but like I said there's rona of food options available at a price. There's also tons of restaurants you could just walk to. Overall I loved my stay here and I'd come back if I'm ever in Waikiki.

So the front desk took it off and we left. Sure enough, next day, they charged our credit card for the unknown $70 restaurant bill seperately. My husband emailed them saying I saw the recipet and confirmed it was not ours. They came back saying....no your wife confirmed it was. What a bull. They could not find the people who wrongfully charged the bill to our room so they decided to charged us anyways. We asked to send the copy of the reciept with someone else's signiture, then they finally decided to refund us.

I read Yelp reviews and heard about this business and how well Simon was in helping with going through the process. He sent me an email stating what was needed. We gathered all the info and went down to Skyway Express (located by Singsing Restaurant). Simon filled all our Visa forms, collected our passports and called us if the consulate needed additional information. It took a little over a month to get back our passports with our China Visa. Definitely recommend this business. Total cost was $350 each person ($140 for the visa and the rest for their services) - money well spent instead of us having to fly to California and stay or fly back there when the passports were ready.

Traveling to China from Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. My friend, Edwina, told me about the Narcissus Queen Tour. This year (2024), the tour was going to the Queen's hometown of Yunan. They were also going to visit Dali, LiJiang, XiZhou, and ZhongShan. I haven't been to these cities, so I wanted to go! Luckily, my friend, Irene, agreed to be my roommate! We went to their office in Chinatown Honolulu to meet with the travel agents at Skyway Express. They processed our paperwork for Visas, gave us itineraries, and even hosted a welcome/orientation luncheon for everyone to meet! The process was quite smooth, even with the refund for our flight since we added on a few days extra in Hong Kong before and after China. We paid for our flights on Expedia which turned out to save us some money! Skyway Express booked the five hotels, land tours, bullet train ride between KunMing and Dali, and flight between LiJiang and GuangZhou! The package included all admission fees to various museums and theaters, air-conditioned buses, most meals, tips for the drivers and tour guides, and unlimited bottled water! We're looking forward to the next Narcissus Queen's Tour!
