Hotel offers different types of pillows in the room and spare blanket in armoire. Also in the armoire is hangers, an ironing board and steaming iron, which came in handy for those wrinkled linen shirts mashed in my suitcase. The Bathroom. - one sink with a little counter top space but sufficient. The toilet was also bidet in the master bath. The shower pressure on 21st is ok but low, but it did the job. The Ac in room was awesome! It gets super cold, if you need it, quickly. It was nice for those hot humid days of walking in Waikiki. It had an In-room mini fridge and bar sink with 4 real drinking glasses, which I like. Hated there was no freezer in the mini fridge But the bell hop station offers to freeze ice packs, or whatever you need, for you. We had 3 sliding doors with west views and moderate views of Waikiki beach. The Second bedroom has own bath with also a single sink, toilet and shower- No bidet. The room/bedding/bathrooms were clean with no mold in the showers. The furniture showed a little wear but nothing excessive. The Elevators were fast! The pool, mangers reception and breakfast are all on the 4th Floor (terrace level). Breakfast was typical of Embassy Suites, I like the made to order omelette which makes it much better. Lots of fresh fruit and even some miso soup and other Japanese/Hawaiian offerings. The Staff was awesome and super friendly. I Used valet every day. Great service, fast and practical IMO but hard to swallow the daily fee. The hotel was attacked to the Waikiki beach walk. Island vintage coffee was a regular stop for coffee and sometimes breakfast. Order coffee or food to go online after 8am to save a ton of time standing in line. Hotel was Very close to all ththe shops. Awesome location. Much better location than Hilton Hawaiian village location!!! Our fav restaurant close by the hotel was Kana Pilla and Monkey Pod, which were across the street. Make sure to make Open Table reservations for both way ahead of time. I did mine 2 months out. Housekeeping willing to clean and supply new towels daily however linens are not cleaned but every 5 day, unless you request it, which they are happy to do! Views from 21st floor were awesome and all 21st floor rooms had extensive balconies. 3 sliding doors. Keep in mind Ac doesn't work, yes the fan blows, when the doors are open!! It's too humid at night to sleep with them open so we had them open for select times, mostly am. There's a Washer/dryer laundry room on site, 3rd floor only. It was Very convenient especially packing 4 days of clothes for a 10 day trip so our suitcases weren't stuffed . Use laundry room on sundays/mon or late evenings when people are too busy arriving and leaving. $5.25 to each wash load and I think $4.75 to dry. Washers only wash with cold which I like. Perm press on dryer seemed to dry all our shirts and socks well. We hung our nice Aloha shirts on the hangers in the room and they dried within a day. Washer and dryers take credit cards. Yes they're is a soap machine that also takes credit cards. I didn't use and just bought soap from ABC. ABC stores are EVERYWHERE so don't lug around suntan lotion or waters in your suitcase. Just buY at ABC which is only 20 steps away. FYI ABC doesn't no GIVE out bags for items unless you spend over a certain amount. ANC bags cost like .50 cents. ABC has Awesome poke and alcohol (spirit and beer) choices. Yes single purchase tall beers too. Don't forget the free brief fireworks show in front of the Hilton Hawaii Village on Friday nights only. We saw them set off at 7:45p by the lagoon. It's amazing how many people attend so be prepared for the crowds to and from. Big tip: make open table reservations for all your restaurants months ahead! All places are super busy until about 8:45 pm on most nights. Hope I helped.

The front desk staff were very kind and helpful especially during the situation where our room was facing the construction across the street which ended up being a little loud for us so we had requested a new room away from that side and they had a room ready for us in 10 minutes with someone who came to move our luggage. Rooms were nice and clean and spacious we stayed in the diamond tower facing part of the parking garage with a view of part of the beach! It was still great to sit out on the balcony and watch the hustle and bustle of Waikīkī along with the sounds & views of the ocean! The location was across the street from the beach. They also have free beach towel dispenser which really came in handy but make sure you return it before midnight to avoid a charge! Lol. The parking garage was a little questionable as it is very tight and hard to find parking especially late at night so valet might be your best option or alerting the staff that there is no spot for self park they'll usually work something out to make sure you get one. The breakfast/brunch buffet was to die for! It is up there in price but my goodness it was phenomenal. I mean you're on vacation why not splurge a little?

The valet staff was friendly and efficient and everyone we interacted with was welcoming. Unfortunately, the room didn't match what I'd expect from a Hyatt Regency. There was a leaking bathroom faucet, a chipped sink, rust and water damage around the bathroom door, dark buildup around the shower fixture, heavily stained blackout curtains, visible dust and debris under the bed and dark spotting inside the bathroom vanity where clean towels were stored. The room also had numerous scuffs, patched walls and signs of deferred maintenance throughout. The location and staff saved the stay, but the condition of the room fell well below the standard I'd expect from this brand, especially at this price point.

The location? It's great because it is literally beach front; however, it is on the southern most edge part of that beach area. This means that the beach right outside is jam packed with tourists coming and going and you would have to walk a decent ways up the beach to find a spot. Regardless, a beach front is a beach front so it's nice to get down there quick and enjoy the beach. The hotel is in a great spot in Waikiki because there are tons and tons of shopping stores and food areas within a 15 minute walk so you never really have to drive out. Monkey Pod restaurant down below has great reviews and is delicious, but I personally think their menu is quite small. They also have a pool side bar/cafe that serves drinks, snacks, and meals and is a secondary pool-side restaurant. They play music down there every night. It's very calm, quaint, and peaceful to enjoy a night in the hotel. Unfortunately, the prices of their drinks are ridiculously overpriced. $17 for a Mai Thai not including tip. Insane. The room? I would say pretty average for any decent hotel. It was clean, the bed was good, the pillows were nice and big. The balcony is small, but can sit two people to enjoy the outside. The down side is the rooms of the two towers of the hotel face each other. So you don't get a beach front view unless you pay the big extra for those rooms. My biggest gripe about the room was the shower. The whole 7 days the water would change from warm, hot, very hot, rinse and repeat every few seconds. The price? Very expensive, but that's the price you pay for a beach front hotel PLUS it being on Waikiki beach. There's probably not big deals/sales unless you buy it through Costco Travel which is what I did which saves you probably a couple hundred at the very least. Valet is automatically included which is another 60 per night (not including whatever few bucks you tip them whenever you go out) so this would easily rack up your bill. I'd say the closest free parking is at least a 20 minute walk one way. Despite my rating the hotel a 4/5, would I recommend this spot? It depends. If you are a newcomer to Oahu and want to experience the casual, tourist experience of Oahu, want that beach front hotel, and have the cash, I would recommend this. If you are not a newcomer, there are many other hotels that will suit many other tastes. And honestly, staying at any other hotel outside of Waikiki is probably best if you want to really save on money and see better beaches.

We've been coming to Hilton Hawaiian Village…read morefor years and have stayed in just about every tower except one, and we've enjoyed each experience. We're not high-maintenance travelers--we simply appreciate the opportunity to spend quality time together, and every stay here creates lasting memories. One of our favorite conveniences is the ABC Stores on the property. They're reasonably priced and have surprisingly good sushi and poke bowls for a quick meal. This summer visit was noticeably busier than our fall stays. The pools were definitely crowded, and the village was packed with tourists. While people say tourism is down, that certainly wasn't our experience--it felt very lively throughout our stay. Instead of driving, we used Lyft to visit the Waikīkī International Market Place, which ended up being much cheaper than paying for parking and was well worth it. During this trip, we stayed in the Kalia Tower and loved our room's view overlooking the ocean, lagoon, harbor, and even the marketplace below. My husband also enjoyed using the fitness center. He mentioned it was busiest in the mornings and mid-afternoons, so evenings seemed like the best time to work out. One of the highlights of our stay was our daily feathered visitor--a pigeon that stopped by to greet us every day, which became a fun little tradition. Overall, we had another wonderful stay and made more great family memories. We're already looking forward to coming back again next year!

With all respect to the Hilton family, The Hilton name should be removed from this iconic property…read more It's an embarrassment to say the least. The Hilton accomodation standards are shamefully missing from this iconic resort. After reading several reviews and confirming that the iconic Rainbow Tower just completed its multi million dollar renovation, I secured a Rainbow Kai High-Floor Oceanfront room. Room 2719. The room view was spectacular however the room itself was not Hilton comfortable. Decor was nice but not what we anticipated it would be. After our first night it became obvious that the multi million dollar tower renovation was cosmetic only. A/C system was noisy and not adequate enough for sleeping comfortably. Mini fridge leaked water on floor. Hot water in Shower/Tub/Sink took between 4 - 6 1/2 minutes to get warm/hot. NO EXAGGERATION Closet had a musty odor and wooden hangers that were absolutely disgusting and should have been discarded years ago. The super (main) pool was littered with leaves and debris with zero upkeep maintenance. The tower elevators were another issue. The elevator lobby facade was updated but that was it. The wait for an elevator was absolutley ridiculous. The tower has 6 cars with smart technology. Once inside you couldn't help notice how old they were. Loose wires, dirty mirrors as well as creeks, bangs, scrapes. Definitely an unnerving experience. The Hotel wait staff were very friendly and hospitable although no one stood out for name recognition. The MOD (Manager on Duty) did provide a $200 and $100 resort credit for the hot water issues. She did indicate that the recently completed renovation was a cosmetic upgrade only and that interior building components (Water pipes, elevator mechanical upgrades etc.) were not included. The Rainbow Tower was originally completed and opened in 1968 The property itself is expansive. The beach, lagoon, pools, shops and restaurants are all located on property within a 5-10 minute walk. Conveinant ride share area as well as Charley's Taxi service for an immediate ride with 24 hour availability at the bell stand. While Park Hotels and Resorts fully funded the capital improvements as the property owner, the daily resort operation and management remain under the Hilton brand. Such a shame.

First of all, the location is great: amazingly close to the shore of Waikiki, all the great restaurants, as well as beaches. Secondly, the room: it was pretty spacious and very quiet, we did not hear any neighbors (only when they walked through the hallway) the whole time and it also had a partial ocean view. There was a small balcony enough to seat 2 people. The room was very very clean: I dropped something behind the sofa chair and when moved it, it was sparkling clean behind. It had blackout curtains, AC, large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The fridge was of good size (unlike other hotels where I have been to, where the fridge was so tiny that no leftovers fit in). Thirdly, the customer service was top notch. Absolutely no complaints about it and only gratefulness: everyone we talked to during the visit was extremely friendly and helpful (separate thanks to Joy, Angelina, Kayla and some others at the front desk who worked during the last days of May). Called for an early check in as flight landed and were told it depends on the availability. Once we made it to the hotel, by 12:15 pm were checked in, the early check in fee was waved, we were given a small bag with reusable water bottles, and were told that we will have daily $5 credit to use up. This was very nice! It allowed us to enjoy more time in Oahu on the first day. There was complimentary breakfast that slightly got switched up every morning (the pineapple was delicious!), a fitness room of an okay size, and a small pool. Also there was a microwave on the first floor with plates, spoons, tables, lots of chairs to lounge on if needed. Even the maintenance was great: when checked in, found out that one of the wall lamps were kind of loose and told the receptionist during the first day just so they are aware but they actually said it they will send someone for repairs right away. We did not necessarily need it fixed, it worked fine but it was great customer service! Also attended the free lei making class and it was fun! Make sure to call and sign up, it happens twice a week. Reccomend if in the area.

I did appreciate that they offered pool and beach towels, which was convenient. The biggest issue, and the reason I wouldn't stay here again, was the valet situation. It was basically non‑existent. By our second day, there was still no valet availability at all. We were told to try again around 11 AM, and even then, no luck. Valet is $60 a day, yet it was never actually available. Instead, they hand you a map of surrounding hotels and parking lots you can try to get into, all ranging from $45-$60 a day as well. So for our entire stay, we ended up parking at a neighboring hotel because that was our only option. As for the room, the view was mostly blocked by other hotels -- we stayed on the 10th floor -- so don't expect much scenery. It's a decent hotel, but for a Hyatt, I definitely expected more.

Pineapple and melons. Got real sick of the same stuff everyday. But if you ordered food off the menu, it's pretty good. We did order breakfast once. We also did order room service and food came up pretty fast. Some issues we had: After checking in and unpacking we were leaving and checked our door to ensure it's locked and realized it doesn't lock. So we had maintenance come and fix the door. The next day it happened again not sure what happened but again it didn't lock. Maintenance came by and took a look and they fixed it while we were gone. A bit inconvenience. We paid for our flights on Expedia which turned out to save us some money! Skyway Express booked the five hotels, land tours, bullet train ride between KunMing and Dali, and flight between LiJiang and GuangZhou! The package included all admission fees to various museums and theaters, air-conditioned buses, most meals, tips for the drivers and tour guides, and unlimited bottled water! We're looking forward to the next Narcissus Queen's Tour!
