Today, just after noon, I arrived at this location to pay my bill. It was the 3rd time I needed to…read moredrive in because my autopay kept failing after providing a new card. I was greeted kindly by a man at the door but immediately noticed at least 6-8 employees standing around looking bored plus another several back behind the desks. There may have been 1 other customer at the desk. I explained my situation and calmly expressed frustration that previous visits to get help fixing this problem were unsuccessful. The man politely asked if I had a Verizon app. I let him know yes but it was not allowing the change. Previously I received some help from another employee there and a phone call, but still the autopay did not function. He let me know that the only way to update auto-pay was through the app. I again looked around at the at least half-dozen employees looking bored and stated that if it is more work for me to fight with an app then it is to sign up with AT&T I could just go do that. At this point a tall man standing in the center of the group of employees quickly interjected himself into the conversation and said something along the lines of "That's fine you can go do that". I had my 3yo along with me and so chose not to engage any further. I walked out in frustration and disbelief at the interaction. If this is the current culture of customer service at Verizon, I'm out. I am now, after nearly 25 years as a Verizon customer, in the market for a new carrier.

This is very frustrating and taxing. I explained the issue until I'm blue in the face. My friend also called and clarified the transfer. Still my name is coming up as fraud. I need this off of my name STAT!!! Suggestions please! I have called so many numbers with no success.

Over the past three months, I've been trying to buy my mom a new cell phone. She has been using an…read moreoutdated iPhone since the pandemic hit us back in 2020, so she had asked me to upgrade her phone without upgrading her cell phone plan. Sounds easy, right? Anyways, I started this project at the local AT&T branch near my house. Turns out that you cannot buy a phone without a plan, so that was a dead end. So I went to the Apple Store in Park City Center, Lancaster, to talk to someone there who could assist me. The young lady basically told me to go outside of their store for a new phone, so I turned to Best Buy via their app. It was a very simple process to purchase a new phone without paying too much money and not having to go through her cell phone provider directly. I decided to pick up the phone at this location, and that was also a snap. The young lady behind the counter was very helpful and I was able to get her phone in my hands in less than five minutes. This was a perfect and painless way to get what I wanted without too many hassles in between. I look forward to coming back here again soon!

Great customer service today, so I'm pleased with Best Buy today. Our past is another story. No need to bring up old complaints since many years have passed, but I just don't get paying retail. If there's a deal to be had, I'll find it and have it delivered. Brick and mortar shopping hasn't been my preferred method for shopping for awhile, unless we're talking Apple Store. Haha. Not sure I'll be back for anything any time soon, but it was fun looking at all the new TVs and computers while waiting.

When I went there, they told me we weren't allowed to keep the grandfathered data plan and would have to switch to unlimited. My wife and I use very little data, so I knew at that moment we'd have to switch carriers to get a fair price for the service we need. I set up autopay and paperless billing with AT&T before I left the store that day. 3 days later I ported our numbers to another carrier, and 2 days after that I received our final AT&T bill. I didn't know until I received this bill that AT&T doesn't prorate final bills. In addition to charging us an entire month for only 3 days of service, they also took away the $10 per line discount we should have received for setting up autopay and paperless because I canceled our service before the bill was generated. I tried multiple times on the phone and in online chat to make my case to customer service that we were unfairly overcharged. Even if I had conceded I was at fault for not knowing they don't prorate, they at least should have reinstated the autopay discount when I explained our situation and the reason we canceled our service. Every representative I spoke to gave the same answer: there was nothing they could do unless I reactivated our service. Doing so would have made no sense because my wife and I aren't big data users. I will absolutely never be an AT&T customer again. They showed no mercy to a grieving family and made us pay $160.32 on our way out the door for only 3 days of service on 2 lines.

I asked questions and he acted like he did not know the product because I bought a prepaid plan, not a monthly plan. Or a expense smart phone. Was not told about return policy when I ask can I return it. Took phone back the next day to my money back and was told a $55.00 restocking fee. I question that, store manager was not nice and trying to get smart with me. A very poor train manager and does not know what customer service is. Left there with poor option of that company. Will not do any busyness with them again. This is not how business should work. Lack of proper care for there customers and this company seems to only care about money. Sad what AT&T became.
