I walked inside Walmart then to the Vision Center and through the back, but there's actually a door where the vending machines are outside that are clearly labeled. Worst Eye Exam Experience…read more This was by far the worst eye exam experience I've ever had, starting with the front office. I simply did not feel welcomed, and the entire visit felt rushed from beginning to end. I was charged two separate fees during my initial visit because I had an exam for both contacts and glasses, even though I believed these services were covered by my insurance. When I later called to make a simple adjustment/addition to my prescription, I was told I needed to come back for another eye exam--and another fee--even though I had been seen less than four months ago. To make matters worse, the representative I spoke with over the phone quoted me the wrong cost for the exam, which added even more frustration and confusion to an already disappointing experience. I've already called to express my concerns and file a complaint, but nothing was done to resolve the issue. Now I'm being charged again for an eye exam within four months of my previous appointment. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service, communication, pricing information, and way this entire situation has been handled. I expected much better from an eye care provider and will not be returning.

Eyebuydirect provided me with another pair which felt the same to me as the 1st, so I took them to the Sawyer to verify, along with the 1st pair. I was told they both did indeed match my prescription! To say the least, I was not pleased to hear that. I was given no explanation as to why I was told the 1st pair did not reflect my prescription. I was told not to worry & I was given an appointment to have another eye exam, for a new prescription. I sent used my re-issued prescription to get new glasses from eyebuydirect.com The 3rd pair did not work either, so another appointment at the eye center to find out why! I was told I should have cataract surgery. I said the Dr told me I did not need surgery, @ my 1st screening appointment. Then I was told since I was satisfied with my current eye glasses I purchased over 2 years ago, they would just re-issue it again, as a revised prescription. I mentioned that I was concerned the vendor will not provide a free replacement since they already did 3 times! The response I received was, don't worry they will, they do for a re-issued prescription. Well, No they don't, not after they did for re-issued 2 times already. He did a thorough eye exam, even checking my eye pressure but couldn't find any real reason for my condition & gave me steroidal lubricating eye drops & told me to lessen the time I spent looking at my computer & phone screens. The eye drops seemed to help but the irritation returned after finishing them. So I began using a gel eye lubricating drop with high ratings on Amazon. That did the trick as well as limiting my screen time. I would highly recommend the Nethery Eye Assoc & Dr Zhou.

I interviewed both and had no qualms regarding with the first surgeon's lens replacement recommendation except for the fact it didn't fulfill my need for eliminating the use of contacts or glasses post operatively. The second surgeon, Dr Mueller, listened to my needs, performed a thorough examination, removed the cataracts and inserted a multi focal lens that restored my vision to a 20/20 level I haven't had since I was a teenager. His approach during the initial interview and exam was very thorough, giving me the confidence for accepting him as my surgeon and his recommendations. His surgical skills are beyond exceptional and his office staff, the best I have ever experienced. From the initial check-in to the handling all the insurance and financial paperwork was as smooth as it gets.
