I should have read the other reviews before coming here.... Make sure you confirm what your paying for. I was charged $40 for 2 people to have literally a 5 minute manicure with absolutely no polish! Was not told ahead of time, and shame on me for not asking. Man at the front desk was unapologetic and did nothing about it. $55 for a 40 minute pedicure. Sadly the place is very nice just way over priced! read more

The people doing nails do a great job. Unfortunately, they are already in the VERY expensive side for the area and now they've decided to pass the credit card fees on to consumers. We'll never come back, which sucks because we thought we'd found our new spot. Hope the $2 was worth it to them. read more

I was profiled and stereotyped. I am a black masculine women who went into this shop with my black and Hispanic girlfriend. I personally like to get a nice clean up with a clear coat and this is the work I received half ass clear coat on my nails paint and he (worker) completed destroyed my nail bed with inconsistent work around my nail vs my girlfriend who was next to me the entire visit, grade A work from a different employee. My worker also insisted I pick a color after telling him what I preferred. We won't be back but they probably are not going to care since they only treat certain customers with proper service and simple respect. w read more

Staff were so friendly, and professional. The services I received were fabulous! I have been to MANY nail spas, most were awful, but here @ Contempo Nails Plus.....Hands down THE BEST! Although this place did a good job on my nails and the design, I won't be coming back. First off, I called on the phone to make sure of the price. The man on the phone said a full acrylic set with shalaq and french tip would only be 55. I even double checked with him to make sure of it, but when I payed for my french manicure, it was 80 dollars including tip. My nails also started lifting already after only a week. read more

I went in to get my acrylic nails off. The nail tech removed all of my cuticles until two of my fingers bled. I asked for a towel to soak up the blood and they apologized. No one should have their entire cuticles removed. I am in so much pain and I'm out $20. I would not recommend. read more

My friend and I had a great experience at Contempo Nails Plus! I called for a gel mani appointment, and they got me in the same afternoon. This salon feels very lavish, but it doesn't have the 5-star price tag to go with it. When you walk in, the space is very bright and airy, and after a closer look-this place is clean! The ladies who did our manicures were apparently both managers, and they did a great job. They also said we could come back for a free touch up if our nails chipped in the next 7 days, a huge plus for me. Overall a great experience! read more

Absolutely in love with this nail salon! I don't get my nails or pedicures done often; because of negative past experiences and the price for upkeep is something I'm not willing to invest in. However, I have been trying to find a nail salon that I can go to when I do feel like pampering myself that's not going to take a whole check to do so. Came with a friend for manis and pedis. I was a little annoyed when the young guy that did my pedicure didn't seem to have any idea what he was doing. The woman next to him saw how badly he was doing on my cuticles and pushed him out of the way to finish that part. He also cut my nails down WAY too short so now my toes look ridiculous and I definitely will not be wearing sandals until they grow a little bit. he barely scrubbed my feet and very gingerly put the exfoliating scrub on. A five year old could've given a better foot exfoliation. Finally, when he was almost done, he just disappeared, and the lady took over, but the problem was that woman was working on my friend so now she was working on both of us. Apparently they forgot that we were also getting manicures because she started to walk away and then said oh yeah, you want a mani! We had booked the deluxe, but were just given the basic, and it was an extremely rushed job. My cuticles were ragged after and it really didn't look like anything was done. The shop is really nice and it's clean but I don't think I'll be back because, in my opinion, the price was not worth the service provided. read more

I went in and showed a picture (long nails with a red french tip) of what I wanted but instead of red, I wanted to do an off white color for the tip. While I was explaining that, the nail tech looked at me like I was an idiot. When I tried picking a nude or off white color she kept saying that the color I chose won't work because it's too clear and then I would try choosing a different color and she said "really? That color?" And she laughed at me, the nail tech next to her laughed at me and at that point I wanted to get up and leave. I needed to have my nails done for this event I'm going to, so I decided to stay and just asked for short nails with a single dip color. While she was doing my nails I felt like she wasn't really trying because she didn't like the color I chose and I had to ask her if she can add an extra layer of dip. I used to love coming to this place but I felt so belittled, I'm in my car at the moment trying not to cry. read more
