Thankfully, Simone was there. His English is terrific, but more importantly, he speaks fluent hair, and he instantly knew mine was screaming for help He immediately understood what I had been trying to do, what went wrong, and how to fix it without turning it into an entirely different haircut. He graciously fit me into his schedule, rescued my bangs, and even gave me useful advice for the next time I'm overcome by misplaced confidence while holding a pair of scissors. I would happily return to Simone for any hair service when I am next in Florence, and I would recommend him without hesitation. So please, if you're in town, give him a call. I didn't ask his name, but he speaks Italian and French. No English or Spanish. It was €10 for a haircut. The sign outside said men, women and children's hair styles. I watched him give a young man a hair cut and he was very attentive to details with the razor, scissors and buzzer. He did a nice job on my hair and I'm pleased with the look!
