They do a good job with shirts but not dress pants. They either overheat or overpress the pants so they start to develop a sheen or shine to them. When I showed them they did not care and refused to do anything different so we went elsewhere. read more

I've been using Curt's Cleaners for nearly 9yrs; several hundred dollars of dry cleaning a month. Unfortunately, when I picked up my stuff today, they had ruined one of my sweaters. When I inquired about how they would remedy the situation, I was told (by presumably the owner) that they don't take responsibility, pointing to a poster on their wall that states just that. The issue was not a manufacturers defect, but yet their suggestion was to return to store and say it was like this when I bought it. As much as I would like to support them as a local business, I cannot continue nor recommend. read more

I have been a Curt's customer for five years. Best cleaner in Longmont and the cleaning is done on the premises. Never lost anything and never had a garment that was not fully cleaned. Curt is great and so are all his folks. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive but absolutely the best. The only place I go to get anything of mine dry cleaned. Great prices, I'm always in and out super quick (my time means a lot to me). I get a lot of hash stains on my expensive jackets due to work etc but they have yet to disappoint me and have got my clothes looking fresh each and every time. Cannabis is a sticky and they get it all out of my clothing, even after I've been in my grow all day (in the wrong coat lol). read more

I have gone to Curt's Cleaners for years; however, over the past several months something has changed. Two weeks ago I brought home my husband's dress shirts and one sleeve was ripped about 6". I brought it back and I was given a $20 credit to clean clothes in the future. Last week I brought in a very expensive mens dress blazer and when I brought it home to hang it up, two several buttons had been broken off and melted. I did go back to talk to them about the two problems I have had recently and they were apologetic; however, I will not bring anything else to Curt's. I now have to spend money on buttons and paying a tailor to fix their mistake. read more

This is the only place in town I will take my clothes for dry cleaning. My favorite thing about going into this place is Hilary - the woman who greets me when I take my clothes in - very personable yet professional, and clearly enjoys what she does. Right up there with Hilary is that my clothes never leave the place because they do all of their dry cleaning in-house - not like many places that end up sending them to a plant somewhere in the north metro area. I don't know if this has anything to do with the fact that my clothes always come back just as they went in - except cleaner of course - zippers and buttons all intact. Finally, my clothes always smell clean - not like dry cleaning chemicals. read more

I sighed when I walked into my bedroom to find one of my cats left a present on the king-sized bedspread. The last dry cleaner here in Longmont I took it to it came back with a heavy chemical odor and new stains, so I dreaded seeking out another one. I decided to try Curt's although there are a few cleaners closer, and am glad I did. The bedspread is clean and doesn't stink of fumes. The front desk staff member was courteous and helpful, and behaved as if she actually wanted to be there which was refreshing. I'd definitely patronize them again. read more

Staff was very unfriendly. Horrible customer service. They ruined my wedding dress and tried to hide their mess up by altering my wedding dress. Ironed on parts of my wedding belt to each side of the rib cage of the dress. Cut the wedding belt which was attached around the waist and is now hanging by the zipper in back because it was sewn into the zipper. Too hard to remove. The owner promised to refund me when I was with my husband, but as soon as my husband wasn't around, the owner fought me on refunding me. His, I assume, wife then came to the front and waved her finger at me saying shame on you. I can't believe you are doing this. This, as in, getting a refund he promised earlier that week. I told her I can't believe she ruined my dress. Also, the owner stalked me on the internet. I felt threatened after he told me Longmont is a small town and I know more about you than you think. He didn't like my attitude and said I hope you know this isn't my responsibility, but I'll make it right. He confirmed he was in the business for 34 years and has 11 businesses. Someone with that many years of professional experience should know their fabrics on what could be put into a solution and what cannot. The owner blamed the seamstress for not updating the cleaning instructions tag on the dress, which isn't something that is actually done by seamstresses. He also tried blaming the cleaners that cleaned my dress before the wedding. read more

Left $100 worth cleaning with these folks. Picked it up late on Saturday and was putting it away at home when I noticed the tie from one side of my ladies jacket was missing. One side remained and was hanging down about 24", the other side missing completely. I called the cleaners immediately to ask if they had it, but as they'd already closed, I was required to leave a message. By Monday afternoon I had received no response, so I called back. They said they don't listen to their messages. After some detailed describing to get them to understand, they did come back to the phone and said they'd found a tie that was about 12" long. I asked them to hold it until I could get back there (I live 15 mi away). I picked up the lost tie today, no apology or anything. I suggested it might have been good if they had noticed the tie was missing and pinned it to the garment. . She said they have too many clothes to worry about it. read more

Gave this cleaners two visits since our old cleaners moved and what a disappointment. Request medium starch on both men and women shirts and wore like no starch at all. Worst of all they do not look pressed and steam wrinkles everywhere l it look like a truck ran over our shirts and left tire marks all over them. I have seen better laundering of sheets at a motel than our shirts. read more
