Shady customer service reps who don't really know what they are doing! I was referred to them by my loan processor back in Dec. 2015. I have been with them only a couple of months and have had the unfortunate luck of speaking to just about everyone in that office and they all don't know what's really going on! They started working off of a joint credit report. It had my husband & I's credit info. My husband was their client, not me.. 2 months later they are proud to report they have removed items from my husband's credit report! Well, it would be great except for the fact that those items they say they removed were my creditors, not my husbands!! So technically, they removed items from my husbands report that did not even exist for him!!! When trying to speak to any type of management person, you get the run around and and nobody takes ownership or responsibility for all of the problems we have been dealing with! bottom line, if you are using this company to try and repair your credit for a home purchase, DONT DO IT!! they have only delayed the process and taken out monthly payments all for nothin so far!!! read more

After 8 months they hadn't removed the 50% of items on my report (meaning since there were only 2 things they couldn't even get 1 off Experian and Transunion) and somehow managed to miss that there are two social security numbers on my report? I had a few items from when I was younger and had messed up that I wanted cleared up. Some of the items that I wanted cleared up did in fact go away, but when it became obvious that I could not get the rest off, I attempted to cancel. It took me over 15 attempts to get my account cancelled, and it took getting the person who referred me to them to write an email asking what the hell was going on. When you try to cancel, you get the hard sales pitch, and can never reach the person you are trying to talk to (mine was Jeremiah Hafar). You always get routed through the phone tree, and when I would tell him I was trying to cancel and to call back at a certain time, he would always call at the exact time I said did not work. They "require" you to cancel over the phone, even though I sent in 3 written request 3 months in a row. All told, it cost me an extra $270. When I complained, I got a very rude "Well, what do you want me to do for you?" When I responded that I didn't think they could or would want to help me, I got a rude "goodbye" and hang up. I was referred to Continental Credit by Al Rivera "the loan guy" who works for America Funding in Cerritos Ca. The loan guy and Continental Credit are a scam. It is really unfair that they take advantage of you when all youre doing is trying to better yourself. I was with Continetal Credit for about six months, in the beginning i was told they were going to let me know when my credit was ready to buy a house which they never did, and by the way the loan guy just referred us to them and he never picked up the phone again. Continental credit are scammers. They started off great with our first initial conversation. That went well, but the "agent" didn't communicate when the first billing would be and just charged us right there, literally stating "oops" and was "not able to refund or change the date retroactively"! Nor did he mention that payment was just to start the service, not the bill for the first month. That's just the first bit, the second is worse. They have been extremely unresponsive! It's very unprofessional and sketchy to the point it's clear they are scamming clients. I even finally reached after multiple calls to no response in voice queue, on the contact of their site, and more, spoke with an agent finally to cancel, and they said, "sorry only the individual who signed you up can cancel you, they will reach out to you", guess what, they haven't! It's absurd. BIG POINT: They are intentionally unresponsive in order to push you into future billing cycles to bill you for work that has no benefit. It's absolutely disgusting. Plus, we've received literally no help over the last 2 months. Nothing has changed at all for us. Honestly, avoid this service at all costs no matter how polite on the phone or sales like they are, you will regret your investment and it will be extremely difficult to cancel because no one no matter how up the ladder you attempt to talk to can cancel your account. I regret ever trying Continental Credit. I spent $296 for nothing! After 60 days I tried cancelling, which was another series of calls and being on hold 12 minutes or longer with various reps. After 90 days, I still have no resolution. When I tried to reach them to discuss the status of my account, I was on hold 20 minutes and finally hung up without ever getting a rep. Kind, helpful and respectful. No one wants debt. Coming out of a bad financial situation (divorce) left me in a bind for years. They are workable, understanding and professional. Worst experience I ever had with a company, poor customer service, poor feedback, I would submit my part, 2 weeks later they would do something with it. We signed and we waited 2 weeks after signing up before we called them to see what was going on, they had done nothing and didn't even have my credit report yet, so I had to pay $16.00 more on top of the original $89.00 starter fee. we waited two more weeks we called again they said give it 45 days. Less than 45 days later I call for an update to find out Credit reporting agency's had my address wrong, so maybe that is why I am getting nothing back, one would think that someones name and address was correct would be the first thing you check and change it seems very important. They will give you nothing in writing they explain nothing of how they do things, something about privilege information. Waste of time and money you might as well repair your self. I have been with this company since April 2018 and they removed 1 hard inquiry and 1 30 day late payment. They say they send out a "number" of investigations each month. You get no record of any progress they've done. The credit bureaus have sent me letters saying accounts were updated and verified, it was sent to my mailing address and not the company. So how would the company know to follow up on unverified accounts if they receive nothing in the mail. You have to call for updates and to give them results which they should be on top of in the first place. They take $79 a month faithfully to do nothing. They always seem like they have an answer but no results. Do not sign up. This is my second review they deleted the first one. The truthe hurts. read more

I was referred by Colorado First time home buyer to Sean Nealon and he transferred me to Nick Midtaun to be my account rep. Things were fine at first. I understood that in order to have them start it would cost me $89.00 which I purchased on June 8, 2016 and then next payment was due July 8, 2016 (today). How I understood the payment to work was that I was on a month to month and I would get some sort of communication about everything before the 2nd months payment was processed, but it wasn't and in fact Nick told me its an $89 fee to "hire" them and then they bill you the next month but its in the rears for the work they completed, so really they charge $188 for their first month of service and $99 every month after that. When I called I told Nick I wasn't very happy, he proceeded to interrupt me COUNTLESS times by talking louder over me and then asked me point blank if I am so worried about $99 how am I going to afford a house?, and then degraded me saying that if I couldn't afford their services I shouldn't have done this in the first place. I feel completely scammed and lied to about their policy. When I expressed my frustration he continued to be a complete a**hole about it and I eventually was so mad I hung up. I have called his boss and his bosses boss and also Colorado First time home buyer. I may have misunderstood but for him to insult me and put me down is so beyond uncalled for. Expect this out of this company, it appears I am not the only one they have done this to. Also be sure to send your crappy account rep an email to cancel and request a reply back so you have a paper trail when they don't cancel the account because that seems to be their m.o. as well. Worst experience EVER! I wish I would have read the reviews before I signed up with them. When we started they said it would be $86 initial fee for each of us with our friends and family discount and then half that every month thereafter. A month later we're charged $79 each, I let it go thinking it was a fluke and they'd credit us the next month. Sure enough the next month same charges. When I called for a refund and to cancel they tried telling me my initial fee was just a 'consult fee' (they never told us that or indicated that) and the past two payments were in arrears. That there is no record of them telling us we'd get a discounted rate and because we were two days into the next billing cycle we'd be charged again end of this month. He gave me the run around to cancel and refused a refund and told me Im still going to be charged more. Couldn't be any more furious and upset with a company. read more

horrible will never use them again. my score actually dropped, but not the point. they only communicated with me when they needed a payment. i was told by one employee that i needed to pay one more month which i did, then next month they called and wanted another payment for the work they did the month prior. just absolutely horrible. i thought they would communicate there progress but instead they send letters that are 10 plus pages long explaing things that no one can understand. when i called i spent 30 plus minutes on hold, then they answer and say they wont know anything until the "investigation is complete". 400 dollars down the drain. would not recommend!!!! read more

I was referred to Continental Credit by a lender. They got things off my credit report, but nothing that really mattered. After 8 months my credit score really showed little improvement. When something that was supposed to be removed came back it actually did more harm them before. when i called all I got was excuses that they could not help with it due to it being a new collection. Then they advised me to pay a settlement and wait another 90 to 100 days for my credit to go up. My spouse had nothing done to her credit history and she has collections still on hers. Her score went up 100 points in 6 months with no help from them. read more
