CONSUMERS should stay away from this company at all cost. The are extremely incompetent and truly lack customer service by far. They came to my residence at least four times and still could NOT get it right. They covered my electrical outlets and as funny as it seems blamed me, saying that I should checked the measurements. I called Wilson numerous times about the issue and he stated that the owner, John Miranda stated that I would have to pay $450.00 for them to correct their own mistake. Even Wilson acknowledged that it was a total mess up by Continental Glass. I have called numerous requesting the owner to call me to resolve it, and to date I have NOT received a call from him. I will for sure not let this go. This company must be held accountable for is conduct and business practices. I will be contacting the BBB, FTC and the Consumer Protection Agency, as well as take legal action against this pathetic company. I ordered a glass, they told me because it was Custom Order it was more expensive, I had to pay it in cash and it would take two (2) weeks maximum, it should be delivered on 08/13/2021 and it did not happen. On 08/16/2021 I contacted the office and that was when they told me that they had to wait two more weeks that my glass was not ready. My client does not want to wait any longer and does not want the glass, I contacted them to let them know and cancel the order. It is then now that they indicate that a machine was broken (they never notified me), that they will not return my money, but they will not deliver my glass, until they want. I asked to speak to someone else and they tell me that the owner is in the offices from 6pm, but the offices close at 5pm. They do not comply with the agreement, they do not notify anything at any time, they do not return my money and they do not deliver my glass. How is this called? read more

They are super rude over the phone and they don't call back when you leave a voice mail. They came out over a month ago to measure my 2 broken window and then catch an attude when I call back for a follow up. They are rude, they don't spend any time explaining anything, if you pause in a conversation they hung up on you. Terrible company. Needed a window repaired, they scheduled it for the following day. I asked what time they would be there to make the repairs and was told they would call me first thing in the morning. They never called, so at 9:30 I called the shop to ask about the schedule. I was told that it wasn't on their schedule anymore and they would put it on the schedule for the following day. I've seen several reviews like this, it appears that's how this company operates. Our company used Continental glass last year as well as a few other times for a broken window and it literally took over a week to just get someone out to look at the window 2 months to replace. When I called to set up another appointment, the guy answering the phones is EXTREMELY RUDE and acts as if I was bothering him. VERY GRUMPY! I see this isn't your first bad review and as much as I hate to leave one, I think this might be a way for you to straighten up so you don't lose any more customers. THIS IS NOT a way to run a business at ALL! I will be using another company from here on out! Very slow service and for an apartment community we shouldn't need to wait 1month to get our residents window's fixed/replaced.........poor customer service in following up when THEY promised to call us back with estimated time and never did. Have used this company for 30 years and always satisfied. Called for a window replacement and the guy was extremely unfriendly and said they would not send someone to measure and look at it. It's a transom window. I can't measure it. He said needed to measure, send photos, etc., horrible attitude. Told him I would go somewhere else and he hung up. read more

Absolutely Horrendous customer service. Wilson who works for this shop is the only man I have spoke to on the phone and over email. I originally called and asked him to schedule an appointment with one of our tenants as she needed two old windows replaced because the locking was no longer working on them. He asked me to email the information over to including pictures of the windows because apparently they couldn't go look at them themselves. After I got all of this information over to him which was on October 3rd I didn't hear back from him for 2 days at which point I call the shop again and he said he would be sending over a Credit Card authorization form which I received. Another 4 days had gone by and the tenant called me saying she had not heard from the shop so again I emailed Wilson on the 8th and 9th and never heard anything back. I AGAIN! called the shop and explained to him that if there company didn't want the work that was fine I would go else where and he assured me that he would be taking care of it. On the 15th the tenant once again reached out to me saying that know one had called of course. For what seemed to be the 100th time I called the shop and spoke to Wilson who at this time acted like he had no idea what I was talking about AFTER SPEAKING TO HIM FOR ALMOST 2 WEEKS ABOUT THE SAME JOB! He recollected the the information from me but at this point I was over the customer service every time I spoke to this man he acted like he was being bothered by some one calling and asking for service and was just right out rude after I tried to ask why this issue had not be taken care of after it being 2 weeks since the original request was made. I asked him to have the owner call me in regards to this issue. Wilson said he would figure out what was going on and have the owner call me. Well could you imagine it is now the 18th never heard from the owner and still our tenant is telling me that the windows have still not been taken care of. read more

Their closing time on Saturdays is 2 PM. I arrived there there at 1:30 , doors were locked but you could see lights still on in the back. I knocked and knocked to no avail. I came to my car and began calling them, every time it went to their voice mail. Then at around 1:40, while sitting in my car and making one last attempt to reach a live person on the phone, two of tier employees came out and locked the back doors. I asked them if they were still open, they looked at their watches and laughed and said "it is just about two o'clock" and left. I returned on Monday and got a very high quote for two piece of glass I needed, but since already there and this place so close to my home, I placed my order. They said it should be ready on Wednesday and they will call me when is ready to be picked up. I never heard back from them. A week later I called them and they said yes your order is ready to pick up. Next day I go to pick my order up (what a circus!!!), three different employees went back of the shop looking for it!!! to no avail!!! Another (more intelligent) employee went back and 25 minutes later comes back with my order!!!!! WOW I will not return to this place, even though is right in my neighborhood. read more

HORRIBLE!! They told me it would take two weeks and it took over two months for them to complete my very simple order!! Do not buy from this company!! There are plenty of other better options out there for custom glass. They messed up my order twice!! Both the sales guy (who never returned my phone calls) and the "manager" kept making excuses for the ridiculous two month delay, blaming the owner for the poor level of customer service. Never once did they apologize or take any responsibility! Continental Glass only cares about their big accounts and don't respect the small guy. Installer was extremely rude and unprofessional, in addition the work performed was not performed correctly and up to standard, The window was not sealed correctly and had gaps and there was a trim that surrounded the original window that was not put back in three places, only one piece was added and that was cracked after a few days. read more

I work for a management company and we have used Continental Glass numerous times but we ALWAYS have an issue. The only reason we still use them is because they are the closest to our office. Horrible customer service, they never return your phone calls, and it takes forever to put in your order AND get it delivered. They always claim they are short handed and that is why there is a delay but honestly...how long does it take to get some new staff members ready and trained. read more

I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE!!! I walked into the office and asked for a quote to fix my 8ft sliding doors. I tried fixing it myself but I don't have enough knowledge about how to do it. Once I told the man at the window that I tried to fix it, his exact words were, " Well, that's why it doesn't work!" I took offense to that because I am a woman and I have a lot of knowledge about construction. Wilson was another customer service and told me that I need to replace it because it would be cheaper, then he quoted me $550 to fix everything....Duh, 8ft sliding doors are at least $2K. Very poor customer service, they don't follow through on their commitments! I contacted Continental Glass based on a recommendation from another business owner who no longer serves my area. I will be contacting him again to let him know about the problems I experienced so he hopefully doesn't recommend them any more. I scheduled an appt "first thing in the am" for repair work on a sliding glass door. When they hadn't shown up or called by 8:30 am, I called them only to find I wasn't on their schedule. When I spoke with the person I made the appointment with (Wilson), he apologized (more than once) for the misunderstanding, that they give their information to the schedulers, and somehow it never got entered into their system. He said he would speak to his service people and the schedulers and get back with me to reschedule another first morning appointment, which was nearly a week ago. I still haven't heard back from them. That's two strikes. I'll be looking for someone else and I'm passing along the word to avoid this company. read more

Horrible customer service....i will preface this by saying this exact thing happened with them over a year ago, and i am always willing to give a company a second chance but not a third...i called over a week ago to book an appointment and was told they couldn't give me a time of day to expect a technician but would call the day of, in the morning.....needless to say, i called them since i didnt hear anything and they said not only am i not on the schedule but i was out of luck, they had people call out and there was nothing they could do....i said a simple phone call first thing in the morning to their customers might be a good start, i asked to speak with the person who books the appointments, guess what..shes not in, neither is the manager or owner or anyone else besides the guy ho answered the phone, i could go on and on but the bottom line is ....if you are not a business but a homeowner good luck, you are not a priority. read more
