    Let me start by saying that buying a car in today's market is not fun by any stretch of the imagination. Throw in the fact that we wanted one of the best selling models when there's already a shortage of cars in stock, and you have a nightmare situation for buyers. I joined multiple wait lists and kept checking the allocation list until I found one that matched what I needed, a Grand Highlander Hybrid Limited with bench seating. I messaged the dealership and received an email from Andrea with a charming mini video of her saying hi asking to set up a call. We agreed on a time and she was very knowledgeable and told me that it's be worth it to come into the dealership. I made an appointment and was greeted by Alit. Alit did everything he could to help me get the car at the price I wanted. We weren't able to come to an agreement at the time, and I had to run to another appointment, so negotiations ended there. A few days later I did a search on Toyota.com and did an inquiry on a car, not realizing it was the same car. Andrea saw my inquiry and had Alit call me. We were able to come to an agreement over the phone, and we went in to sign and make a deposit the same day. I thought that would be the last I heard from Continental until the car was delivered, but Andrea went above and beyond with calling and texting me to keep me informed of the status of the car. Alit also checked in with updates as the car was built, processed, and delivered. Pick up went smoothly, Alit went through the entire process of setting our phones up with the car, explaining all of the car features, and even reached out to coworkers for info and called me days later with answers to questions we had about the functionality. Overall, Andrea and Alit were an amazing team that really helped get us into a car at a terrible time to be a car buyer. We drove away feeling good about the deal, confident in our choice, and thankful for the experience.

To make matters worse, the showroom itself did not reflect the level of quality I associate with Toyota. Several display vehicles appeared dirty, unfinished, or poorly presented. There was even a Toyota Tundra on display that appeared partially assembled, with boxes and debris still sitting in the truck bed. I walked in excited about the possibility of purchasing a new vehicle and left disappointed. A dealership's staff and presentation matter, and unfortunately, this experience fell well short of expectations

It seemed ok to me but now I have to contact them to inform them of this situation. We ended up having to drive a bit away, but this vehicle had most of what we wanted - fine. For some reason, they still kept us there for over 3 hours though. And we were told that the Costco price is LESS than what the dealers pays for it. Who the hell is going to believe that nonsense? Then for our trade in, they started out with an offer of $3,500. I immediately said no. He got up to $4,500 and said that we can always come back to sell it - no pressure. We opted for the latter. Well, we did go back today to sell it, and they offered $3,200. I said that was below the original offer. I was angry for my time and money being wasted and said that I was going to write reviews (more to come). Then big boy got nasty with me and told me that I "don't make sense". I can't help him if he thinks going from $4,500 to $3,200 would not make someone less than happy. If you are incapable of sticking to your word, isn't this the most likely outcome. Does that make sense big boy? If you need any other lessons, I will have to charge you. In any case, I cannot respect duplicitous behavior, and I feel that it is my civic duty to warn others so that they may use the information that I provided at their discretion. We will not be using them again.

I gave up trying to get my recall completed with these guys because they kept claiming that my vehicle has no warranty, isn't certified preowned, etc. etc. and this is objectively false. I ended up having to drive all the way back up to Schaumburg to have my vehicle serviced because the dealership in Hodgkins and the dealership in Downers Grove are both so inept that I don't trust them to handle it.

    I looked at several vehicles online and scheduled an appointment for the next day. I informed my…read moredealership contact ahead of time that I was interested in seeing and test driving three different vehicles, and he assured me they would be ready. I arrived at the dealership on time for our appointment. The dealership was not busy, yet they still were not prepared for me. After waiting a bit, they finally introduced me to a salesperson who seemed unaware of my request and appeared fairly inexperienced. That in itself was not a problem. I'm also in sales and actually enjoy interacting with newer sales professionals. Eventually he brought the first vehicle for a test drive, but it was not ready. The fuel gauge was showing empty and the navigation screen was not working. Again, not necessarily the salesperson's fault, so I didn't make a big deal about it. However, things quickly went downhill after that. When I expected to see and test drive the other vehicles I had specifically scheduled the appointment for, he told me he didn't have time to show me the others and that I should just pick one because it "wasn't that big of a deal." The dealership was practically empty, yet apparently there was no time for a customer who had scheduled an appointment and done their homework ahead of time. At that point I politely asked for my driver's license back and left. This was simply subpar service, service that even someone who works in sales and understands the challenges of the job couldn't tolerate.

Since the guy who hit my car was driving an "uninsured" rental, I decided to go through my insurance and get it fixed immediately. I wanted to get a few local estimates. Paint Solutions was my first choice. Jeff gave me a prompt, reasonably priced estimate, without an appointment . He also gave me a hard copy of the estimate.....Jeff assured me that I would only need to be painted and buffed.......No parts replacement needed.....Great......The other shops I was considering either wanted an appointment to get an estimate or they were overcharging and therefore didn't want to give you a hard copy of the estimate to shop........I won't name the shops.......So it was an easy choice......Paint Solutions it is and I'm so glad I decided to go with them.... I dropped my car off with the printed estimate from my insurance company and I asked how long it would take.......Thursday, so approximately 4 days.... The drop off process was seemless and although Jeff wasn't there, his counterpart was expecting me. Thursday has arrived and Jeff gives me a call stating the car is ready and he add that I would love the work......I pick the car up on Friday and before I could say anything, my wife said....Oh wow, it looks brand new. She was correct. I was absolutely floored by the work the did! Going forward, this is my goto body shop. Thanks Jeff, for the excellent work and customer service.
