This is for the Autobody Repair and Welding night courses only…read more The autobody repair with McTaggert was great. Structured classes. Takes you from banging out dents to welding holes and body filler. No paint in this class. If you are looking for job training then I wouldn't recommend the evening class as you wont learn/practice enough to become job proficient. I would assume his day class would get you there though. He is thorough and supportive. If you are like me who wants to learn for a personal project it is perfect. The welding course is good if you have had a bit of welding experience. It is very self directed and you only get feedback if you ask. The supply of equipment and materials makes it worth the fee alone. If you are willing to do a bit of out of class studying (youtube/welding books/forums) and apply it in class you will benefit immensely from this class. I spent all 4 months at the tig bench and sometimes prepped materials at home (and welded too-I bought a tig shortly after class started because I knew I liked it once I tried)so I can better use my time. After 4 months most people asked if I welded for a living.

I am very patient and understanding but I just don't understand how this lady got hired to work here. Debra Mather is very professional and communicates properly, maybe Helen can learn from her.

I'm a 5th grader here at Hubbard (not revealing name) this is a nice school. I made a lot of…read morefriends (4th and 5th) although I feel targeted by some staff. First of all a guy kept on hitting me and other people. I told the school counselor about it and she told the Vice principal. When I was sitting in PE he went up to me and step on my PANDA DUNK NIKES and I tried kicking back for self defense right???? WELL THE VICE PRINCIPAL CALLED ME IN AND GUESS WHAT?!!!!! He started asking me why did I kick him and stuff and saying I'm doing it to so why am I telling AND I KEPT ON SAYING THAT HE WAS STEPPING ON MY SHOE but the vice principal won't believe me. Later at lunch he started giving a speech saying "if someone is hitting you and you hit back you shouldn't be telling ms Serena or anybody if you hit them back and stop acting like your the victim, I hate those kinds of people". That speech made me feel bad about myself and I am kinda depressed tbh... and later on that same day at lunch recess we had to race and coach pick me to race and I was like "ok" and one of my friend was in the front and behind she went to the back of the line and when I tried the girl behind me kept pulling my arm and I kept saying "let go" but she won't and then I end up getting yelled by 2 staff name ms sally and I don't know the other lady's name. They started saying "if you don't wanna race then why did you raise your hand to race" then they said "if you don't wanna race go back" and I was tryna tell them coach pick me but they didn't listen. Out of all of those this school is a nice school.

It's a nice little elementary school. The staff is very caring. The facilities, like most…read morefacilities in this neighborhood, are a little outdated and rundown. All in all, a good school with great teachers.

This was such a fun and unique experience! I've always wanted to try glassblowing, but ended up…read morebooking a glass fusing class instead due to scheduling and it was absolutely worth it. I went with a friend, and even though I was running a few minutes behind, the setup was flexible enough that she was able to save a spot for me right next to her. Our instructor was fantastic, kind, funny, professional, and incredibly patient with everyone in the room. She made the process look effortless but was right there to help us whenever we needed it. We were given a few different options for what to create, and I chose to make a set of coasters. My only minor critique is the time management for the workshop. I wish we had a dedicated few minutes just to brainstorm and sketch out our designs before the actual crafting clock started ticking. Because brainstorming ate into our studio time, it cut it a little close at the end and I felt a bit rushed to finish--though my coasters still ended up turning out pretty great! Once you finish your piece, they kiln-fire and glaze it for you, and it's ready for pickup in about a week. Overall, it's a wonderful creative outlet and a perfect activity to do with friends. I'd definitely recommend it!
